[tornado fang] yeah, got my usual two hours of sleep.
Me too. Not really that useful when an exam is right on the next day.

Is it just me, or do you single out my posts more than others to make me look like a dumbass?

Not trying to be rude here, just curious.
I think he was referring to the fact that pretty much the whole net already talked about this one subject incessantly, and it's not really a thing to be noticed. Kinda like saying "The Cake is a Lie" as this one new meme. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

That was just.. [tornado fang]ing brilliant.  :V

I'm just one of those guys that actually -rarely- watch Family Guy anymore. I also edit my posts more than once too.
Argh, Family Guy sucks nowadays anyway. Brian's just a mouthpiece for Seth, Peter's concentrated on just being dumb, and everything seems to hate Meg at once.

But it takes up shelfspace when you could store about 5 regular comic arcs in there. =P

Claustrophobic? Really?
Yknow, its funny, but for some reason, I didnt mind scanning in 1. but in 2 and  3, it got tedious. (to me actually)
Hmm, what about the Wii version? Aiming and scanning works MUCH better when you simply have to aim with the wiimote and lock on.
Please no opinion-debating, we'll be here forever if we do. YES I find it claustrophobic, like 3D Castlevanias, yes, the scanning is tedious if the free-look is commanded by a trigger, and only if you're standing still. And like all games in this thread, I was saying it about the original version.

The Quest Menu lists all the songs you've learned, so if you forget you can check them there.
That's my main problem. Selecting them off a list and playing it by the own game's memory would have been more logical.

About all of this BN debating, can it be cone in parenthesis, or in another topic? Kinda deviating from the actual point here.

Mario Kart 64.

- Snaking.
- 2D sprites.
- Few characters.
- Graphics have aged badly.
- Battle stages are kinda empty.

This one was hard to do. Since I pretty much don't find anything to nitpick, the game was awesome.

I'll give you a easy one.
World of Warcraft.

- Obligatory powerlevelling on PvP.
- Whiners before nerfing
- Whiners AFTER nerfing
- COLLECT 10 OF THESE LAWL
- HERE IS YOUR REWARD. YOU ARE NOW LOOKED UPON WELL BY THIS FACTION

...anyway, here's a real easy one for you:

Final Fantasy VII.
I'll do that one in awhile. It'll take considerably more space than the others. 8D

AW-RIIIIIGHT, LESS DO DIS

- Ridiculously bad... can they be called sceneries? I'll just call them "low-resolution CG pictures"
- Horribly awful 3D character models. In the year after Crash Bandicoot and Tomb Raider came out, we get a game where we can see the insides of the characters when they bend over. And all of them are amazingly horrible, popeye-armed "things", who take all the seriousness the game is supposed to have in the first place.
- Whiny main character with a terrible emo story, which was the percursor for pretty much all of the emo-boy RPGs with brooding stories and self-narration. Gee, thanks alot.
- Whiny villain who isn't threatning in the least, but instead is a bishonen dressed in leather who looks like he came out of some twisted girl's fantasy.
-Battle system is pretty much the same as in any other RPG, except the materia system turns every single character into "bags of skills" which you can put in and remove at anytime. Way to do individuality in characters for battle, Nomura.
- "I am Sephiroth, a honorable soldier. And I am really smart and making a long-winded explanation about how these creatures in the reactors were all monsters created by Shinra." "I am Cloud, a total dumbass who has proven to be incredibly weak and useless. And I am pointing to you the ridiculously obvious story point that maybe you are a monster yourself, since you were created by Shinra." "OHMIGOD YOU ARE RIGHT! HOW HAVE I NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT BEFORE. I MUST NOW GO KURAZY AND DESTROY THE WORLD."
- Aeris/Aerith(she's supposed to be named Alice you translator dumbasses) has died... this is the saddest part of any game I have ever pla.... YAAAAAAAY! SNOWBOARDING MINIGAME RIGHT AFTER! Nomura, you are the king of storytelling mood.
- The whole story is a mix of the very worst anime clichés you can find, together with a [acid burst]-poor translation, make a game that isn't even worthy to kiss FFVI's toes... and still fans praise it as the best game of all time, as many people had it as their first RPG.
- This idolizing led to a ton of shitty sequels, prequels and spinoffs, each one either worse than the other (Dirge of Cerebrus) or simply showing us how much better the game would have been if the main character had been a cheery person who could handle battles on his own (Crisis Core).
- God dammit Nomura.

Hey hey, chill out, lets not start a fight here, it is all for fun. I missed the no arguement part my bad, sheesh.

Anyways, have you done Ocarina of Time already? If not do that one =P
I am chilling out. Just don't like it when people go out of their way "for fun" after they've been told of the main point.

Anyway, let's see, Ocarina of Time...

- Having to memorize the songs everytime is kinda silly and unnecessary.
- Hyrule field is pretty much empty and has little point.
- Stealth sections are quite primary.
- WATER TEMPLE. GODDAMMIT SUCH MASTERY OF ANNOYANCE WITH ELEVATOR DUNGEON
- Stuff like Din's Fire and the Boomerang are kinda worthless and serve pretty much little purpose.

I would but I'd just be hogging them all to myself.
You forgotten where we are? =P I doubt many people have played FPS games around here, or have any interest in them. Go ahead.

BRILLIANT!
I am a master of conmen. When I was 12, I went to a shop to return a videogame I hated for some reason, and argued that it was an outrage, that the game stuttered and the disc was probably damaged, and got a successful trade in the stingiest shop you've ever heard. Not only that... I got to keep the t-shirt. 8D

Faking an internet article is a piece of cake. Just grab some random article by Scientific American or something, use it as a template, then copy-paste a fake article of your own, along with some convincing pictures, onto the page. Then print it out, making it look actual and real.

He just got here; he wasn't aware of the rules, it seems. Take a breather.
Getting to a topic, saying the exact thing the topic is meant to prevent, and when warned, say "oh but this is fun to do", causes me to say "get the hell out". What can I say?

The Conduit (didn't play this one either, although my big bro has one)
Didn't play it either. Was gonna get it, but the bad feedback got me not to. Can anyone do this one?

It's fun to do though without any actual flaming. Also, can't help it when one of your points is wrong anyways =P
Then say that single point to me without going "Oh that didn't bother me" with all of my points replied to on a list on your topic. These aren't well thought-of points, kid. This is just having fun with nitpicking. And if you can't even stick to the friggin' point of the topic and you go off and do exactly what you're NOT supposed to do, you might as well get the hell out.

Since I just got here...

-Don't really need the sun except for the bosses and some rare ocassions, I beat most of the series in my room with no actual sunlight. Also, get more sunny clogs, dunno about 1 and how abundant they are, but in 2 they're available from the beginning and with them you won't need real sunlight EVER during the maingame except for maybe one part I don't remember if it's completely necessary to not have sun at all.
-?
-Press start, press L or R until you find the gun customization screen, switch frame.
-Can't argue with that but it didn't bother me.
-Dunno what to say.
This isn't a debating topic, this is a topic about nitpicking about games. No room for defending positions here.

No More Heroes 2

- I miss running around the city instead of waiting for interminable loading screens.
- What the hell, the story seems much worse this time around.
- ARGH PARKING LOT FIGHT TAKES ETERNITIES
- The bike sections should be on the list of "DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT PUT THIS ON A GAME"
- Lame final boss, lame ending. Specially compared to how rad the first game's ending was, and how it wrapped everything up nicely.

Tell other "concerned parents" to tell them stuff like that. Or fake an internet article about it.

I'm sorry, just that this is pretty fun.

-put a warning sign two feet away from the trap
-Set phrases
-I play a game for the satisfaction of beating it, I get you wanna show how games these days are so easy, but JESUS!
-character customization

I make such good topic concepts. Me genius. 8D

Recent recent... Demon's soul?
Still not out in Europe.

(whoops. replied too early. Lemme edit)
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

- Pink-haired Link wha?
- Still the pansiest-looking spinning slash.
- Traversing the world can get pretty dull sometimes.
- The dark world is quite ugly to go through, considering it's the biggest part of the game.
- URGH, equipping one item at a time... the SNES has alot of buttons, people.

3D dot heroes
Not out here yet.

What about Metroid Prime 1? probably the best prime in the trilogy?
Sure.

- Claustrophobic as hell.
- Backtracking becomes annoying.
- Having to scan EVERYTHING EVER
- WHY not use both analog sticks? Lock-on vision works horribly when you have an FPS perspective, and it limits the movements the game could have.
- Bosses don't live up to the ones in the original Metroids.

(Please, no arguing, people)

Cigarette if you smoke. Martini if you drink. Chocolate bar if none of those things. Coffee also helps.

We do, but my parents like to save everything.

Also, they will believe any statement with the word "cancer" in it. This is the reason why I'm not allowed in the kitchen when the microwave is running.
Canceraliens are attacking!

If I may.
-music sucks large amounts of ass
-no little hop thing to avoid shells
-It's not even go carts anymore, it's actual cars, which takes away charm
-Blue shell is a fuster cluck
-babies driving
-working together ends up in no one wanting to play it again
-A pipe car? Are you serious?
-The tracks are ludicrous.
Took the words right out of my mouth.

Oh, that.
There will always be at least one CPU that will spam monks like the [tornado fang]ing dickens. They can convert everything you throw at them. It's annoying.

And you better pray that that CPU is not playing as the Aztecs.
Yep. I used to play it alot back in middle school. not anymore, unfortunately. I gotta get back into it someday.

Sim City 4.
Sorry, 3000 was the last one I played, and I can remember little detail about it.

Come on, people. More recent games.

Here's my Playfire profile if you need ideas: http://www.playfire.com/Dr_Gamma
Pretty much all games I own, except the ones I end up forgetting to put there.

Way of the Asian, my friend. They think that as long as they get a short dip in water, the magical, occult forces of nature will keep it clean.
Plastic eventually greases up and breaks. Tiny cracks are always common in those kinds of reused cutlery. Why not just keep reusing a normal set of steel cutlery?

You will become Dr Wily in the future. You already got the natural side spike hair.  XD

That place looks beautiful btw. Looks like your typical countryside village.
That's Óbidos. An old-style town, still surrounded by the old castle walls. I don't have alot of good pictures here. Should work on finding some.

-People still like to do that enemy/neutral/ally bullshit?
-And you're playing matches with people who use cheats?
-Relics are annoying.
-That's the price one pays for faithfulness to historical events.
-See first.
First point was converting priests. Sorry if I didn't to the noise right.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door

Never played Paper Mario 2.

Quackshot?
Sure.

- Why are you wearing a damn explorer outfit when you haven't even left the city?
- STOP DASHING WHILE YOU'RE CRAWLING. CRAWL LIKE A NORMAL DUDE
- Dracula's weakness is popcorn. If only the Belmonts knew...
- Who even uses non-lethal as standard weapon?
- Why do we have to do that stupid quest at the beginning just to get the decent plunger? Won't the regular one work?

Aw shucks, okay then, let's see...

Earthworm Jim :D
Dang, that's a toughie. Let's see...

- Levels can be a bit TOO wacky. Where the hell am I going?
- Will this hurt me? Will it be a part of the scenery? STOP BEING SO WELL ANIMATED, EVERYTHING
- MUST FIGURE OUT WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THE CONCEPT OF THIS PART
- Hit detection sometimes fails. And you're down a life.
- Get one scenario piece... COPY PASTE IT EVERYWHERE. Level made.

I see a bit lack of recent western games. And of input.
