I'm pretty sure most people do that, and it's not necessarily a bad thing ^^;
It's a bad thing when you have no idea of what you wrote two games ago and make up [parasitic bomb] to explain what would go better unexplained.

Also, retcons BAD.

Who wouldn't like to get their home turned into a movie/book/videogame location?
Why don't more of them use other locations? Yakuza had Osaka.

I had a really really short temper and used to get into fights.
Oh yeah, those were some good times..and by good times I mean that they weren´t.
Today I´m just short tempered 8D
Why not? Fights are awesome.

The street of Shinjuku is real.
Yes, it’s our model for this, even the bicycle lanes and crosswalks are decipted.
Aaaah, Japan. Tokyo for you, is like New York for the US. If it takes place in any city, it has to take place there. =P

I wouldn't mind the other published games if it was a console tribute.
...what?

He and I are much too afraid of the consequences.

Plus, I don't know how to punch someone such that it would actually hurt them. Then again, I'd like to carry a steel-vanadium pipe for that purpose.
What consequences? You punched him. That's it. Then he can punch back if he likes. Way of life. Stops the argument, that's for sure.

And for God's sake, just punch as hard as you can. If you punch well, it'll hurt them.

People have been utter douchebags to the superlative degree towards me throughout my whole life, but I was never able to take revenge because I lack the balls to punch a [chameleon sting]er in the face for some reason.
Why don't you? Feels quite good, actually.

Well, complaining is not going to make everything better. If they truly care, shouldn't they actually do something about it?
And what should I do about it? Oh, I know! I should protest against the book. I mean, protesting against the freedom of speech of writing a shitty book really works, right?

There are exceptions to that general rule of "do something about it". That "if you hate it so much" is one of them.

I've hit people several times in my life. Including my dad.

I'm not suggesting anyone should just go and beat stuff up, but it's therapeutic. Normally it's a sign you're not getting your adrenaline wasted. Do some kind of awesome physical activity. Krav Maga is a great way to let off your energies. Do push-ups, or squats, or weight-lifting. Something productive with all that excess testosterone.

Very huge sidetrack here, but what's your opinion on Mayumi Kojima? She's pretty awesome in my opinion. I was introduced to her after needing to find the song that played in that old Super Mario Advance 4 commercial and downloading the entire album (Me & My Monkey on The Moon) with said song (Hatsukoi) on it.
Consider me interested and will check out her stuff in the morning.

« on: June 24, 2010, 02:36:16 AM »
Really?  Well that definitely sucks.
I just know the other classes will be kinda limited. GL will have very limited constructs (I've just seen beam, ball and I'm expecting to see glove too), agility-type will just be the most well-rounded and the most used, as we've seen an agility-type character being used on EVERY SINGLE VIDEO AND DEMO. Everyone will have guns, which kinda defeats the superhero motif, and it'll just be a fun little romp with good Jim Lee design.

So, I'm dropping my excitement and my need for such a game. Will now focus on SW:TOR.

As would I.  I'm hoping that maybe they switch as well.  Also, how is the Speedster class the slowest?
It's not the slowest, it's just not... speedster-like. If you look at the gameplay videos, pretty much any agility hero can catch up with speedsters. Speedsters just run a little bit faster than other heroes. Granted, I wasn't expecting light speed, but we're talking slower than most cars. That's not what I expected from a speedster class. I might as well pick a flying class and have fun jetting through the air, since the speedster class is just normal running in most games.

I Still think Naruto is the Worst Anime Fandom...
Any anime fandom is the worst. Fatso sweaty girls in sailor outfits glomping me at conventions pretty much says that happy or sad, that will always be the worst kind of fandom. I had this ugly [sonic slicer] stalk me for TONS of meets here in Portugal. She called me "sensei" and followed me around with her troupe. I think she was seriously deranged. The whole thing culminated with her forcing me to lend her my GAME member card so she could sell a few games and a DS to buy a PSP. I then found the stuff wasn't even hers, they belonged to this friend of hers who aparently "dissapointed her" when he started liking or disliking something in some anime, and she was selling his stuff for revenge. I think that was the only time in my life I almost hit a girl.

Yeah, even as much as this appeals to me, I'm still not going to pay monthly for an MMO, or any game really.
Maybe they'll switch it if it doesn't have alot of success. I'd sure as hell would love to have a GOOD console MMO.

Really, if anime weeaboos despise 4Kids Entertainment(and other dubbing companies) with a burning passion, why not form an angry mob and destroy the company(or companies)?
...the same reason why I don't go out into the streets and murder everyone reading Twilight. Because it's illegal, [tornado fang]ing stupid, and retarded.

Yeah. As much as I want this game, my main appeal was the lack of payment. I guess with this, I'll just veer towards The Old Republic as the only MMO I'll play. Seeing as I don't really trust Sony Online Entertainment, and was in this more for the DCU stuff.

...that, and my speedster dream class appears to be slow as hell in-game.
