"This is not tea! Blimey, what a setup!""Will playing cards mask the fact that I'm a forced-in Deux Ex Machina?"
Hmm? Why?Because it's stupid.
Scrooge McDuck ainīt got enough cash on me!"Who put a green wheel on the back of that helicopter?"
The worst part about this (in an utterly hilarious kind of way) is that even if it's implemented badly, the sheer amount of marketing leverage that people will get just from saying "Glassesless 3D TV" would be [tornado fang]ing incredible.I honestly hope it goes the way of Betamax. TRUE 3D in gaming should be something like this:
That being said, I think 3D is going to be standardized and implemented faster in heavy electronics than HD was.
Europeans still lead this forum though...GLORIOUS LAND OF EUROPE ALWAYS WINS
You should cover yourself.Isn't witchcraft by itself a miracle?
"We must report to the authorities!""Watching Wimbledon in fast forward to save time isn't working out like I expected..."
If it WAS DC vs Capcom... I'd probably quit the game at this point. Why?
Just ugh.
Legends 3, done by the guy who did Bayonetta...That's like telling Peter Gabriel to go apologise to Phil Collins. =P Not gonna happen.
I don't know...
DC vs. Capcom!OH GOD I COULD FAP TO THAT IDEA. If the companies weren't mad at each other, imagine Capcom making a Marvel vs DC. SO GLORIOUS.
Bank on it!
Maybe, maybe not. But I'm thinking that at this point in time, Inafune might have been afforded the opportunity to work on something that he really wants to work on (he's even hinted at such back at Captivate), following being able to provide a number of things that made his overlords at Capcom happy. Because hey, even the head of Capcom R&D has to pay his dues. If that much is true, then worrying about what the West thinks may be able to be put on the back-burner. After all, if he makes a good enough game well enough, people will set their watches to it....if he did, it wouldn't be on Comic-Con. It has to be a mainstream, western-appealing title.
It's pretty much the same thing that goes along with Ono and his Darkstalkers idea, as well. The Vampire series definitely didn't catch on in the West, thanks to a deadly, yet vanilla-flavored combo of Capcom's over-marketing of Fighting games in the 90s and American apathy in the face of Marvel and SFAlpha. However, even as a new Darkstalkers game definitely doesn't seem likely to be any where near SF4 or the upcoming MvC3's mainstream success, it could stand to be a nice answer to those who want a decidedly more "hardcore-catering" fighting game from Capcom (like myself), at the worst.
Honestly, the company that comes out with Glassless 3D TV's will easily win the 3D TV market until other companies follow through."Remember, you gotta stand DIRECTLY in front of the TV, otherwise, it won't work!" =P
Holy crap the vuvuzela just came in.. and I can't work with the damn thing.PURGE THE DEMON. BURN IT
LoL, because I will enjoy the real thing even more knowing it's not that crap. It's like watching the original animated Transformers movie after watching Transformers 2.With the small detail that the Bay movies at least stuck with the original personalities of Optimus, Megatron, and a few others. This movie pretty much shits all over the story in the worst way possible.
Spoilers and stuff don't bother me, nor hamper my experience.I really don't understand why you'd want to watch a very horrible adaptation before the real thing, but whatever. Enjoy, I guess.
We shall see, cause I hate Transformers 2 on a whole other level than most movies. However, from what you and everyone else is saying, this might beat it. I was going to watch the cartoon first, but perhaps I'll save it for after, in order to wash my mouth of the awful taste it leaves.Noooooo nononononononono. Watch the cartoon first. Trust me. If not, this is not just gonna spoil you of some of the best moments in it, but you don't really want to ruin the experience of what is pretty much the best damn continuity-driven cartoon ever.
Zillions of games with any one of those alone. Combining them being unusual is the only thing preventing me from saying "same old".JRPGs and WRPGs are different things. I'm talking about japanese RPGs, which are normally stuck in a rut. This is very innovative. Specially one like this, where you can surprise enemies on the battlefield.
EDIT: I think Mass Effect might be a contender?
