I really wouldn't count on them going back to the old Phantasy Star stuff. As great as it was, it's one of those games which just doesn't have an entire community clamoring for it.

Those are some crappy textures. Didn't they think such a problem might arise?

Then I'm gonna get the Xbox version when I get an Xbox. Did they put more attention to the Xbox version than the PC version?
No. Valve ALWAYS prioritizes PC versions to console versions. No console version ever got any kind of extra features patch love from Valve. I've been playing the same old original TF2 for years.

...and add-ons end up costing money.

That's what I'm saying. The little bit I played of PSO was fun, but it saddens me to see that PS will never return to its roots. I liked the original PS games because they were Dragon Quest in space.
I guess it's always being reinvented. I've played PSO back to back (except for that shitty episode 3) and all of the PSU/PSPortable/PS0 stuff they're doing right now, it pales in comparison to it. It's completely different, and I doubt they'll go back to it.

I guess the series moves on, and so must we. I'll keep on playing PSO.

"This map is just a complete and total clusterfuck. If they had just used some decent lighting I think I would've been able to figure out where I'm going. And what sense was it to make the water completely blend in with the skybox? Makes it look like you'll fall to your death if you jump into it."
Game?

AWRIGHT.

This day's gonna be awesome. Heading to a buddy's place for a game of cards, then we're gonna go play some pool at the bar. And after that, we're gonna get the guys together, and mix up some awesome drinks.

Same thing I always do.

Lie about there being cheats to unlock this or that, make incredulous theories about stories that people end up believing in, and basically just screw around.

SEGA - Sonic Colors will not suffer from the 'Sonic cycle', gameplay has been 'nailed'

"For this title in particular, the team is confident that this is a game everybody can really enjoy. That's why we've offered a lot of hands-on for E3, and on this occasion as well. It's something that the team is really confident from the gameplay side. It's something that, this time, the team thinks they've nailed it - it's definitely not going through the Sonic cycle!" - producer Takashi Iizuka

Not forgotten, I just thought that was your conclusion.

Any more actual concrete stuff you need help about? Because other than that, you pretty much need to start writing the story and see how it turns out. Just set a good, balanced mood and you'll be fine.

I had nothing to do. This whole week is going to be the same way. I don't work at all this entire week, and I don't have my license yet so Driving someplace is out of the question.
Just becasuse the world gives you nothing to do, you just don't do anything? What are you, a robot? Do something of your own iniciative!

Sitting here, at 3:27am, thinking about what I'll do tomorrow.

I got few people here to hang out with. I got several problems to deal with, or tons of stuff I could do to have fun. I could also go out and watch a movie, or cycle down the Tejo river, or even go get drunk at the local bar.

I honestly have no idea what I'll do tomorrow. If it'll be a good, or bad day. I could try out a small harmless scam I've been working on. I could go and play a few decks of Sueca with the old guys at the pub. Maybe try and cook a dish I've never tried before. Write a new story? Maybe.

I'm going to sleep completely clueless here. Hope I find out good stuff to do tomorrow. Hope I'm a bit crazier than I am today.

Personally I think that none of the PS games after PS4 managed to capture the original spirit of the series.
Original spirit, no. But [tornado fang] the original spirit, honestly. PSO was the one MMO which managed to make me play it obcessingly. It had an amazing campaign to play cooperatively, and you pretty much never left an online mission without an epic story to tell. Doing Towards The Future runs with friends was amazing, and the way the enemies/bosses pretty much never stopped coming was pretty awesome. That, and it's one of the only few japanese games I know that manages to tell pretty damn good stories in its missions, never really going too much into stupid clichés, and keeping it either comedic, or just the right amount of dramatic. You never knew if a mission was gonna end well or not. And all of this in a friggin' Sonic Team MMO. With little customization and repetitive gameplay. But the few, little things it did, it did them SO DAMN WELL.

So, no. It wasn't a Phantasy Star game per se. But whatever it was, it was amazing.

You're used to it though. You've had to endure the [parasitic bomb] for decades.
Ever since the Internet, we never get used to it. Watching a stream of trailers and opinions about how great this or that game is just sucks.

...and don't get me started with preorder-only items. We get none of that [parasitic bomb] here, so we end up with nothing. No choice between Wal-Mart and Gamestop BECAUSE THEY DON'T EXIST HERE.

...well, Gamestop exists, but it's even worse than the other stores in crap that actually gets there.

The one in the DS version isn't as satisfying.
Played the DS version for awhile. It tries, but it ultimately fails in both designs and gameplay. Lining up with the enemies properly is a [sonic slicer] with the d-pad.

God damn Europeans. We saved your ass in Vietnam and this is how you repay us?!
Funny how we never get any outrage with the constant stream of US-only special editions. =P Remember, we only got Calamity Trigger THIS YEAR. We're gonna get Continuum Shift mere months later. We're getting ripped off alot with this [parasitic bomb].
