"Hello."
"Hello!"
"Follow me."
"OK!"

God dammit, Vix. Nostalgia bombed right between my eyes.

Oddworld had way superior chatting methods to this game. Heck, can anyone get a screenshot of the commands you got available?

In-[tornado fang]ing-deed.
It's basically: "Everyone's got a tiny role to play, intended or unintended, in a huge complicated mess soon. Zoom has time travel shenanigans, so he's scot free."

Shadowland is also quite crap this month.

I didnt see WW, but First flight was good.

Even if they made Boodika a bad lantern and gave Sinestro the Yellow Lantern Corps. suit as his Sinestro Corps suit. (just about my ONLY two gripes with FF really..) He also worked on Static Shock, didnt he?
It's supposed to be a movie COMPLETELY out of continuity, and give us a good Lantern story with alot of elements in one go. Saying uncanon events aren't good in that environment doesn't make sense.

You seem to have missed the word DEMO in my post.
You never said whether you actually played it or not.

Quote
I'm actually glad it only uses phrases.  One of the reasons I don't play multiplayer games is because I'm scared of people yelling at me through text or via a mic, so this makes mess less nervous ^^;
That's fine and dandy for you, but most people on XBLA like to talk to others on multiplayer, and on a co-op game like this, it's imperative that people can discuss tactics before actually going into a big fight or something. Judging by the phrases available, which are just stuff like "Hello" and "Thank You", this is completely stupid. Why not stuff like "Stay here, I'll go ahead" or "Go through here, I'll go on the other side."?

Um, well, you played it, and its pissing you off. So, nuff said? No? Ok, then read on.

Reasoning; terrible new sprites, copy pasta rooms which graphically are completely unsettling, and jarring form one room to the next, with a terrible system of no rooms, with the same old slow and stupid enemies we've been fighting for 15 years plus. They can't even be bothered to make the colors match up, using the original palettes of their original game. Worthless.

All of this is apparent by simply playing the demo, and or watching any sort of actual gameplay. This could also be seen coming, by intelligent people, since it's first screens were released.
Better, but I prefer to actually try out games or have someone with actual gameplay experience show me why the game is bad, instead of simply going by looks and videos. When playing the game, although I personally didn't like it, it felt pretty much like regular Castlevania. A few moves smoother, others a bit gimped, but if I had people around, I can see how the experience would be good. And how it would be pretty fun to play a Castlevania map in cooperative mode. Not being a hardcore Castlevania fan and having better games to spend my money on, I'll pass on it. But honestly, if I were a bigger fan and had people to play with, the game should get quite fun, from what I've experienced.

...the communication method is amazingly stupid, however. Does anyone know if the mics still work while in the game? Because that would make more sense.

Ah sorry, I didn't see this, I jus finished ; ;

And I like it so far, I've tried co-op and single and both are fun ^^
I have no idea how to get past certain parts on single. Like those damn scales, one of the character has to be on the other side. And some parts had no platforms to go through. How are you supposed to go through that? The game's pretty much meant for multi.

Downloading the trial version right now. I love XBLA, trials for all.

I wanna check this out for myself.

Bad in single player. Some parts you just CAN'T GET THROUGH without other players. I cannot fathom how people would play this on single player, seriously.

Theme sounds cool at first, but gets really tiring.

I was a thought as I read "And Another Thing..." because they're minor gods, and then there's God, capital G.
Meh, Norse Gods were never immortal. Heck, few politeist religion Gods were ever immortal because there would always be squabbles.

God, capital G, is already supposed to be the beginning and the end of all things, so if anything happens, it'll always come out well for the dude.

Lord of Shadow is a long ways out and I'm not gonna sit around waiting.

Asking around if there's anyone willing to play Harmony of Dispair on XBLA. Otherwise, I won't buy it, since I refuse to play the [tornado fang]ing thing in single player.

I have question for you pros and core fans, how did Watchmen and Dark Knight Returns start the Dark Age? I know the Comedian and rorschach are cool but still, I don't know how they contributed to the madness of the nineties Dark Age.
You know how in the beginning of the movie age, everything was dumb and silly? And then in came Citizen Kane, and actually made a good and complex, long story that made people take movies seriously, as an art? Well, Watchmen and Dark Knight Returns did that for comics, in a way. But like in movies, soon, everyone was a fan of dark broody x-treme violence and loads of crap which teenagers seemed to be quite fond of. Nowadays, stuff's beginning to pick up, since the 00's. Few heroes remained untouched by the sheer x-treme grimdark crappiness of 90's culture. Luckily, stuff's began to pick up since the 00's.

...in other news, let's take a look at comics today...

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF THEY'RE NOT GETTING BACK TOGETHER EVEN IF MEPHISTO'S DEAL IS REVEALED

CPR DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT

...AND IT TURNS OUT THEY WERE TOGETHER ALL ALONG UNTIL RECENTLY, JUST NOT MARRIED.

...THEN WHY GET RID OF THE MARRIAGE IN THE FIRST PLACE, YOU [tornado fang]

QUESADA, YOU [tornado fang]. I AM GOING TO KILL YOU.

...oh my God. I think Quesada's trying to enrage every single comic book fan in existance by copy-pasting his idea of a perfect life into comics.

So, Harmony of Dispair is out. Seeing as the game pretty much only works out well as a multiplayer game, anybody gonna get it? Or should I just wait for the Scott Pilgrim game to waste my hard-earned cash?

Yikes he's worse than mine.

Then again mine is more bipolar than racist, my mom is a full blooded Cuban for crying out loud.  I think it's basicly my Grandma's fault he's like that, the second husband she had seemed pretty abusive though we don't know how because she won't talk and she's a bit rasist too.  But my Grandma is the type of person that tries to bury and hide the past as much as possible, she's been married 5 times, and she seems to be the type to not even lift a finger when something is wrong.

That's why we don't know why he's like this and my uncle and brother are tired of her hiding everything.  Of course time period is another problem since he was raised in the 1950's and early 60's, he's 59 now, though what's weird was that the family was in Maine and then moved to California.  Then again racisim can happen anywhere.
Family drama's always bad to handle. I hope stuff turns out better for you. It's the good thing about growing up. Independence.

Well at least your dad isn't a bipolar rasist.
Bipolar, no. He's angry all the time when anything goes wrong, or someone tries to speak their mind. Someone, being me. And racist? Racist, homophobe, xenophobe... [tornado fang]er's got the "put them all together, set them all on fire" mindset to anyone different from him.

Yet he always expects me to apologise and go back to being that idea he has of his "son" and what a "son" should be, even though he never gave a [parasitic bomb] about me, simply because he played a part in my conception.

Well, beating up someone who deserves it is therapeutic. I'll say that.

Yes, but see, when I try to talk with my voice, he doesn't listen and throws [parasitic bomb] around and threatens me.

When I talk with my fist, he smiles. Heck, he smiles so hard his teeth come out.

It ends with joy! =D Mine, which is pretty much all that matters.

Oh, man.

- I got an overstressed mother's family who all shout at each other and can't stay a minute without calling everyone on the phone, but dammit, they love me and I know it.
- Haven't talked decently to my douchebag father's family in a long time but I want to stop by his place to punch him in the face one of these days, and knocking his teeth out is gonna feel really [tornado fang]ing good.
- I got 3 friends who've been my bros all the way, and my best friend and I are tighter than anything, although not having the same tastes, we pretty much roll with everything, and it's always awesome.
- I've got the most amazing girlfriend in the whole [tornado fang]ing universe, who knows how to keep me in line and shares just enough geeky tastes so we can talk and argue pointless stuff all day and end in amazing love.
- My career plans aren't looking great, I got [parasitic bomb] grades and a bad job. But I'm moving forward with a smile, I do what I want and I'm amazingly happy about it.
- I'm talented at the few things I like, and can pretty much insert myself into any kind of mindset of other people in order to have a stable conversation with pretty much anyone in the world and enjoy it.
- I got good taste in music, I'm average at most stuff and I can handle myself better than most in a tussle.
- I live in Lisbon, which, besides the fact that we get [tornado fang]'d up the ass in terms of prices and little availability of pretty much anything, is the most amazing place to live in, EVER.
- I got half a donut in my mouth, a Martini in my glass, I'm naked in one of those fake leather chairs that smell like [parasitic bomb] and I just rubbed one off minutes ago. This drink tastes REALLY GOOD. And I feel awesome.
- Tomorrow, I'm gonna get my tools, gonna get some working wood, and I'm gonna fix the old dollhouse I built for my lil' sis so I can finally give it to her.
- I'm also gonna watch Die Hard, gonna play some Sueca at cards, gonna do pretty much what-the-[tornado fang] ever I want, and then I'm gonna head down to the store and get myself a random game for fun.
- And then, I'm gonna sit down at my PC, type down all of the notes I wrote down on my journal I never write in and ended up using as a notebook because who the [tornado fang] keeps journals.
- Then I'm gonna write a bestseller just because I want to and maybe a shitload of articles for my blog I haven't updated in a year and a half.

Because holy crap, I kinda realised right now, as I usually do a few times, and as I will eventually in the future. MY LIFE IS AWESOME.

And God dammit, I love you all. The guys who hate me, the guys who love me, whatthefuckever. You make this world awesome, and I'm damn happy for it.

[tornado fang] yeah.

If there is one, it'll probably just be PSIV released for the XBLA as a Sega Classic. Which would already be pretty good. I liked replaying PSII in my 360.
