Whats wrong with simplistic?
Imagine you've had a beautiful tree by your bed for the last five years.

...now suddenly the tree is replaced with a green sphere on a brown straight vertical stick.

Sure, it might be a bit of a hyperbolic example, but everyone notices the sudden lack of amazing detail in things that Retro used to have, suddenly replaced by minimalistic sleek iPod designs where everything is single-color walls and simple-designed things.

Try to stop halfway through ANY loop in the game.

...lol, gravity is defied because of scripted loop movement

Most reviews seem to be good so far, but dismissive of Samus' new personality and past.

Although the art design seems to be total simplistic crap after years of Retro Studios beauty.

There's a nasty little bit of AP on the game that causes the controls to lock out and for Samus to die at a certain point. Or so i've heard while waiting for a scrubbed USB compatible version anyway  -u-'
I've heard. It's still the PAL version, so I'll just keep on playing in the regular retail copy. I just want to try out the game, anyway.

It's not even completely reusing the bosses. It's bringing them back and suping them up with a new trick or two. It's not like Sonic is the first to do this.
Exactly. I really loved to watch the leaked first boss and see that it had new tricks up its sleeve. It surprises fans. XD

This game pretty much hits every single thing for "bad". I mean, it does EVERYTHING wrong. It's not playable in the slightest.

Here, I'll show you the biggest sin in the entire [tornado fang]ing game.

There's a mission, where you have to levitate apples, to put in barrels.

Sounds easy, right?

Well, imagine the apples are as tiny as dust, you can't choose what apples to pick, and what you levitate also counts the apples already in the barrels in the first place. And the levitation mechanism works in a wide radius in front of you.

...they pretty much just slapped the Havok engine in here and told us to go [tornado fang] ourselves.

Marvel-wise, just get Cosmic. There's probably a torrent with the entire Annihilation arc around the place.

Ah, and Incredible Hercules is also an awesome comic to follow, if you can.

You know the irony? It's not that this is some kinda impressive glitch.

...it's that, without exaggeration, you have [parasitic bomb] like this happen to you 99% of the time you play the game. The WHOLE game is a bunch of glitches.

But I couldn't find any toes or hoes.

I must've been doing something wrong.

I'm assuming these are two seperate books? If so, I'm not finding the second.
The Return hasn't come out yet. The Return of Bruce Wayne is on its 4th issue, currently. Just be patient.

^ WHat he said. Needless to say, despite having so many items, having so many uses for all of the items would be turning the game into a cluster-f*ck. However, instead of just using it at the time that you feel like it, pick up an item and use it at odd times. Like the ball and chain against the lizards for example. I think the point nintendo was trying to make or get to is to have the players get more creative with the weapons they had. I played around with them and had a lot of fun. The spinner itself is good for what it's good for. That's like complaining "Well...this knife can't open doors! I can cut things, but I can't open doors with it!!! Make me a KEY-KNIFE!" It is what it is, rather than 8,000 different uses, it has select few uses. Deal with it.
Forced simplistic gaming is smalltime. Zelda is at its greatest when you can be creative.

You don't see me partaking in enjoying "moe" or "uguu" stuff, its ok, but I prefer somebody who can stand up for themselves (Like Kallen :D)
Women in old anime knew how to stand up for themselves and kick men's ass whenever they tried to peek up a skirt. Nowadays they just blush and and go waaaaah.

This place sounds more civilized than the elitists over at Sonic Retro. ("We rage over game titles, music, and think the classics are perfect!...TOO perfect to live up to!")

Sonic fans? Civilized? 8D

Disorganized as we are, from furries to fantards and jaded old school fans, you are correct. Retro couldn't even get a community-based sequel off the ground. Everyone over there is fuming because this is "Not want we wanted." Ask a fan anything: they may think Sonic 4 involves all of Sonic's friends with Shadow overshadowing (SEE WHAT I DID THAR!?) Sonic. Some envisioned Sega pulling a Megaman 9 move with retro graphics and sounds. (Of course, that's what I would have liked to see) Other fans envisioned a 2D game with HD sprites (ala Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD).

Instead we find that Sega is still a washed-up has-been from the 90's that should have been bought out by Nintendo. Yes, Sega's listening, but methinks they aren't putting their best efforts into making the game (reused bosses, badniks, etc). Jun Senoue (the composer) was even going to use the same computer and development kit he used to make the music for Sonic 3! (The NEC PC-88? 98?) Someone could at least tell him about emulation, right?

Given that this is only the first episode, we don't even know what the rest of the game is going to look like. (Of course, angry fans will still give Sega the 'guilty until proven innocent' treatment) Although I have my suspicions that Episode 2 will involve reusing/making minor edits of Sonic CD content.

Of all the levels I've seen, Lost Labryinth looks the most original.
The reused bosses and badniks are on purpose. Jesus, they had cheers when the old designs came back, because fans wanted it all back and when they showed the concept art, people rejoiced. People wanted the old back, people wanted it to be classic, just like the old titles. Now you complain because you think it's lazy? Seriously, I wish I could strangle you fans sometimes.

Nothing wrong with Flat chests here.
But I get where your coming from. they were juuust right. not like now, where its either just flat chest, or just boobs bigger than life itself.

Also, back then, they didnt use computers to make anime. [parasitic bomb] was done by hand, and we LOVED the graininess that came along with that.
I'm coming from the fact that before, they presented hot women acting in hot ways as desireable. Now, they show us little girls going "moe" and "uguu" and acting like they just got out of elementary school. And we're supposed to find that sexual.

Otaku have gone from perverts to pedophiles.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.

Best downloadable game I've played in a BIG while. It's basically Tomb Raider with a Diablo perspective, awesome temples to go through, co-op mode, tons of things to search, huge levels, and overall awesome gameplay. Amazing game.

The last Dostoevsky piece I read, The Idiot, I did not know what the hell was going on. One moment, it talks about a man visiting someone, then it talks about some heiress or something. WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO BE READING
You're smalltime.

We want to ease him into it; if we start him with that, he won't read it. He's a junior in high school who has bad grades in English; odds are it's partially because he didn't read the books he should have such as Julius Caesar and Huckleberry Finn.
Then he should read those. Never too late to start.
