Is that Lugia? I'm very out of date with Pokémon. Like... ten years or something.

I just got an 8 gig USB drive and am loading the game onto it now. Will give impressions on it as soon as it's ready to be played.

EDIT: Playing it. Love it so far. The d-pad is quite comfortable to play with and the action works well. The graphics are decent, but a little dissapointing. They're about the standards that the PS2 MGS games were. I know there's nothing wrong with it and that's still impressive, but almost ten years later, I expected a little bit more. It won't wow anyone like the Prime games did, everything looks very simplistic and minimalist, which is a bit contrary to most Metroid games, where I expect to see goo falling off the walls. But it's okay. The gameplay itself is quite good. Everything works as it should. Morph Ball doesn't move as realistically as it did in the Prime games, but it's still okay, and you can jump with it from the beginning.

Would the platinum hits version be different in any way? because I dont remember ever getting many of those glitches- aside from the sticky walls, the ramp thing in the intro stage chase,(where you miss the boost pad) and the momentum thing where you miss a boost pad on the wall and fall off horizontal paths.

never encountered anything else. Then again, I never tried.
No idea, but I don't think it was different.

...and the Silver boss was the cheapest thing I've ever seen. You can't even get slightly close to the guy without him freezing you and sapping your rings.

For the love of God, never speak of that again.

You've seen me attempt to "salvage" Shadow The Hedgehog, but the multiplayer is just beyond all hope. X(
Yep. Zero effort is just zero effort.

Let't take a look at some more bugs.

...and funny enough, I remember having ALL OF THESE just for a single playthrough of the game. All of these bugs happen, not by trying, but by simply playing the game as it should be. The sticky walls one actually happens in 99% of all walls in one of the levels. You just can't jump off.

For other people interested in Nextwave:

This is Dirk Anger.

He loves H.A.T.E. And H.A.T.E. loves him.

What makes Civil War so awesome? And what comics by Grant morrison that I can get into to become familiar to his writing?
Civil War isn't awesome. For someone starting to read comics, it's pretty awesome to read, but once you read something like Annihilation, which happened at the same time as Civil War, you gain a newfond hatred of everything in the Marvel Universe that happens on Earth, and think they're all a bunch of superpowered primadonnas who do nothing but squabble all day about [parasitic bomb] that doesn't really matter instead of coming together and saving existance.

Civil War is basically people going "gee, I think it's not really okay for people who just get superpowers randomly to go around playing vigilante legally, because someone might get hurt", Tony Stark going "Yes, you're right. So EVERYONE MUST NOW REVEAL THEIR SECRET IDENTITIES AND REGISTER AS A PART OF THE GOVERNMENT MILITARY. ALL THOSE WHO DO NOT COMPLY GET LOCKED IN A PRISON I BUILT IN THE NEGATIVE ZONE. YOU KNOW, THAT ALTERNATE UNIVERSE WHERE PRETTY MUCH EVERYONE IS EVIL? I'M PUTTING ALL THE EVIL AND NON-COMPLIANT GOOD GUYS THERE. IN A PRISON. THIS IS A TOTALLY GOOD IDEA."

And Captain America acts like a [sonic slicer] because registration would actually be a good thing, but he thinks that every single kid who is able to shoot fire from his hands should legally be able to run around in a costume breaking public property.
That's what Civil War is about. Heroes squabbling between each other instead of facing bad guys.

As for good Grant Morrison entry books, there are quite alot of good ones. But I think the most recomended is Grant's run on Animal Man. Animal Man #1-#26 is all written by Grant Morrison, and generally considered one of the best examples of meta-narrative in comics. It's awesome. And issue #26 will pretty much tell you what kind of person Morrison is, guaranteed. Don't let anyone spoil you what it is =P

You can then try his run on the 90's JLA. He wrote a few amazing stories back then, from the start to issue #41. Although he has alot of awesome guest writers such as Mark Waid. Mark Millar, Devin Grayson, Mark Waid, and J.M. DeMatteis.

But if you want something more light-hearted and at the same time with the ability to be darker while EXTREMELY awesome, there are a few more recent amazing series which are worth a read. One of my favorites, is Seaguy. A superhero who has a big talking fish as his best friend, and isn't taken seriously, in a quest to be a true hero. It's an amazing tale (MUST be read with the sequel series, Seaguy: Slaves of Mickey Eye or you'll get extremely depressed with the ending).

All in all, of all the comics Morrison has ever written, I think I've only read a single bad one. The small one-shot "Kill Your Boyfriend", when he dabbled in indie. The rest? All AMAZING. All of his work.

Also, if you're going to buy only one single book from Marvel, make it this one:

12 issues. Another awesome Warren Ellis comic.

Yes it does. They are the best.

Also I think you have to install some new IOS and/or cIOS files too.
I've already used Pimp My Wii to do so.

It definitely felt like the Adventure games.

Not to mention that after having [tornado fang]'d with Shadow in his game, they went with the STHH true ending and gave him a "clean start" as it were. No geralds. No aliens, no angst, (well maybe a little) no WHO AM I, no GUNS... Just plain Shadow. I like that they made him part of GUN. although some [sonic slicer] about that, it really adds to the idea that his life has sort of been rebooted. Gun and him were at each others throats in STHH, and now, all is said and done, and he's even working for them, having put aside the [parasitic bomb] they did.

Oh also- Dan Green Mephies.
So he's working for the people who killed the only person he loved.

...that makes so much sense.

this thread just takes the words right out of my mouth yet how can anyone fix up '06? Can we even consider Sonic 4 apart of the "classics"?
06 COULD have been fixed. It had the right concept, the right idea. It was finally, a return to the Adventure genre. It associated Sonic with realism, and high quality values. It was built with levels stemming from adventure fields, and stuff like Sonic being followed by Tails at certain points. It WANTED to be Adventure.

...I have no idea how it ended up that badly. Were the developers just given a couple of weeks to make the game? Did they get in over their heads? Because honestly, there's an idea in there, but I don't see no GAME.

But man, it could have been beautiful if done well.

Um I hope so. I haven't tried it and I don't have a blank DVD-R DL for testing. >U<
Gonna have to get a Verbatim one, the Wii takes those very well.

It's so goddamn digressive.
Just when I think I get the feeling of what's happening, then it switches to another [tornado fang]ing story, and in all of this, there is no "the Idiot" to be seen.
GOD DAMN IT FYODOR WRITE SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T REQUIRE ME TO USE A [tornado fang]ing FLOWCHART
Learn to read the classics.

If you think it's too tough, try reading something else, by Fitzgerald or Hemingway, to start you up on national stuff, then move onto German and Russian literature.

Well yeah theres that, but thats a physics engine problem isnt it? (plus thats the most commonly known one)
No, it's not. The creators just thought it would be simpler to, instead of making the player run through the loop at its own fast speed, to stick the character to the floor of the loop, no matter how fast it's going. The engine doesn't even come into play here.

And there isn't rail switching for a game that requires rail-switching. Alot of it.

The numbers are inside the ISO (or file that's attached to it), and a burning program uses that info to decide where to burn the second layer.
If you have a burning program like say ImgBurn, you can set it manually to '2084960'.
'Tools' menu -> 'Settings' option -> 'Write' tab -> 'Layer Break (For DL Media)'.
And inserting that number will most likely solve the problem? I'll try it tomorrow...

Um, did you try "Layer Break: 2084960"? o.o
How do I do that?

I had an error right when it was finishing the burn. It tried 3 times, then didn't work. I just popped out the disc, tried it on the Wii, got an error.

http://nextwave.pl/opis/1620905/green-lantern-blackest-night-hc.html
Hey, should I buy the thing in the above link?
I'm considering either that, or Batman & Robin Vol.1.
I have not yet got to reading either of time, but I have some money to use and my comic collection could use more of them.
No.

Blackest Night is a complicated event to read. Specially because it goes like this:

- Green Lantern #43
- Blackest Night #0
- Blackest Night #1
- Green Lantern #44
- Green Lantern Corps #39
- Blackest Night #2
- Green Lantern #45
- Green Lantern Corps #40
- Blackest Night #3
- Green Lantern #46
and so on and so forth through the rest of the event. You're only reading a third of the event with the GL hardcover. Get it along with the Blackest Night hardcover, at least, and leave the GLC one for last, because although it's quite essencial, it's not THAT essencial and some details can be left out.

If you want to get just a single book, get the Batman & Robin HC or the Final Crisis HC (it's a worthy book to have in hardcover)

Get the Batman run from the start with Batman & Son, Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul, The Black Glove and RIP if you like maximum order.

If you want the GL run from the start, get Green Lantern: Rebirth, Green Lantern: No Fear and Green Lantern: Revenge of the Green Lanterns. Just as the regular order.
