I actually thought Dragonball Evolution WAS that bad.

...just not as bad as The Last Airbender, but still...

I just realized something.  If Mega Man has hair... is it UNDER his helmet, or does his helmet form into it?  And, what is it MADE out of?
I always saw Megaman as a man-created cyborg rather than just a robot. I think he's partially flesh, and that's where the hair comes from.

I might be wrong, though.

Let's just hope they get this multiplayer right... it seems like they're madly experimenting with things again, throwing them together to see if it works... you're back to your evil ways, Sega! >_>

You know, the game's great and all, but...

...well, Prime SPOILED us too much on how to make a 3D Metroid work amazingly well. I think every world they throw at us will seem dull and ugly in comparison with what Retro did.

Having those Mega Mans is cool and all, but will it have this mother [tornado fang]er?!
I hope so. All box arts plus that one dude.

Might as well be a game like Wily Wars. Collection of classic games plus bonus story/stages.

Also I pronounce BBAMM as "Be-Bam"
He'll always be Steve to me. ;_;

Responsible for pretty much the most watcheable Sonic stories. You'll be missed.

Don't forget to read Superman Beyons #1 and #2 in the middle of Final Crisis #3 and #4.

...and Final Rites (Batman #682 and #683) is between Final Crisis #5 and #6.

Sandman TV show? Holy [parasitic bomb].

So it's pretty much Powered Up for HD consoles?

I got no problem with that, as long as they polish up those graphics. They look a bit ugly and undetailed.

I don't care for faceless space marines. 8D

Some stories do it just fine though. Mass Effect was really interesting both in gameplay and story. Halo just had decent gameplay. *shrugs*
You dissin' the Halo story? Heck, it manages to be deeper than Mass Effect if you go into the Forerunner and AI business. The books go very deeply into the lore, and Halo 3 already has hidden terminals which tell the story of a rogue AI's redemption. I concour that the ending of the trilogy wasn't much, but Bungie DID do one hell of a job with the overall mythos and universe.

Oh [tornado fang]... I've finished reading RIP.
Christ, that was GREAT. Intense and crazy [parasitic bomb].

Now more things kinda makes sense...

I will soon begin reading Final Rites.

Final Rites just fills in the gaps in Final Crisis. Better read it WITH Final Crisis.

Can't, because I STILL DON'T own a 360 (both can't afford one, and also I'm still scared of the "Red Ring of Death Error"... but also, is it any good (the game I mean)?
Game's only good during multiplayer. And the red ring of death is right now as much danger as the communist hunts back in the cold war.

Fear is totally [tornado fang]ing irrational. Specially when the new model doesn't even have the red ring.

I know I love Gears & Halo.

Although I prefer Halo for JEEP ACTION.  XD
Yeah, Gears is pretty lame when it comes to vehicles. But what I love about it, is that it started this new wave of cover-based systems with pretty much the best and simplest system it could. You pretty much just use two buttons for movement in this game, and do everything with the A button when it comes to covering, dodging, jumping cover, hopping from cover to cover... I really liked the context-based mechanism they used. Dudes made it much simpler than most games around, and that was what's brilliant about it. People who haven't played it just look at it and see big bald bulky marines in a post-apocalyptic world, like in most games around. Game's good because of how it plays, not how it looks. And heck, I'm not even a fan, but I kinda hate how people treat the game without even knowing it.

And Vanquish is amazing on that regard. It sometimes overcomplicates things, but it succeeds in updating the cover shooter in the way Dark Void tried to, but ultimately failed.

...I don't like how the cover button is X/square, though. Most other games have either A/X or B/Circle. Gets a bit confusing at first.

He did, but that doesn't mean I don't want to know what happens.

...and the gameplay's still pretty cool.

The extra boss doesn't make any sense either, but whatever, he's cool.

If it'sdone right

You're forgetting the story will still be the same clichéd old bullshit.

...if people bothered to play Gears or Halo they'd find out that, aside from story, the games are pretty damn good in terms of gameplay.

Ridley Boss battle and the scenes before and after.

AWESOME, I love the feel of intensity~

and there's the first and second rounds of that gravity-changing creature.  I even nearly died on the first round and still managed to recharge my life.  It was so heart pounding~

He's called Nightmare. =P He's from Fusion.

Tons of comeback bosses in the game, actually.

*waits days to reply*

That's not necessarily a bad thing. A lot of people like the old clichés. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. etc.

Of course, someone will always take an original approach, for better or worse. So, I don't mind that the majority stick to the material that works. It's all good.
That's kinda why everyone will never be tired of space marine games, right? =P

Ah.
...
Do you remember that group convo at all? Just curious.. >_>
Presumably no since the forum crashed and was completely reset back around November 2008.

Group convo? Talking about something else, or the same argument I had back when I came here?

Both things actually. Last one's not very accurate. Yes, I told them I wasn't interested in Megaman games. So they showed me a rule saying I had to in order to be on the forum. So I asked to be banned, seeing as I wouldn't last much longer here with those kinds of people around. Heck, I dunno if the original posts are still here.

...dunno if I wanna see them actually. In retrospective, I pretty much blew up at the notion of the complete stupidity of the presented arguments. Still consider myself in the right, but I didn't exactly act maturely about it, so I pretty much lowered myself below standards and let [parasitic bomb] fly.

Gaia mentions going to 5 forums. In turn, GAP mentioned losing track of theirs. I then list the forums I go to, inclduing BZPower. There is then a brief discussion of BZPower between me and Gaia and when we first went there. Then on the subject of the first time visiting sites, Gamma/Most Excellent Superbat once more recollects about his first and only other time joining RPM, and the unfortunate events that unfolded which IIRC led to him being banned unjustly because of one dickhead. I then asked him if he remembers the name of said dickhead, to which he replies he can't even remember what his own name was, which was presumably Gamma as PB said.

>_>
I wasn't banned, I simply left on my own because I couldn't stand that [parasitic bomb] any longer.

Glad to say the average member around here is way more civilized than I had antecipated after that first experience. And I've really grown to like the place too.
