Green Lantern: Rage of the Red Lanterns (finally found it, it's pretty much sold out everywhere) and Vampire Knight vol. 5 as a gift for my girlfriend.

Hey don't blame me. You said "confirmed in the latest Superman/Batman Annual" not I! XD

LoL, Morrison-canon is always a mystery!

I will say though that ever since that Batman issue, I've always liked Damian's outfit.
FFFFFFF MY DAMN MIND

I remember I was mentally going "MENTION THE SUPERMAN/BATMAN, NOT THE SUPERMAN/BATMAN ANNUAL, THAT WILL BE THE OPPOSITE"

My bad, dawg. And yeah, Batman #666 was pretty cool. But see, I'm not very fond of people showing us the future of the characters we're following. It's like automatically reading the ending to a story. And we know it's gonna be retconned soon. Heck, the Legion keeps being retconned, Beyond can't happen as intended because of MOAR ROBINS, and we know that this "close future Batman" with Damian will eventually be retconned as well. Heck, in a future where Bruce and pretty much all other inheritors of the Batman legacy seem to be dead except Damian, there's really not alot of chances for a happy ending for any of our favorite characters. I just hope that this goes to an alternate universe instead of limbo. Morrison already ties pretty much all of his works, like JLA One Million having All-Star Superman as a sort of prequel. So his canon is already pretty damn screwed in the first place.

They sure make him look like Bruce! XD

Ummm...

DC says different.
...not the annual, man! That's DCAU canon, and continues from the DCAU episodes!

The RECENT title. Superman/Batman #75.

http://dccomics.com/dcu/comics/?cm=15358

Here, I'll scan both pages of the short story for you.

Bruce and Supes are dead, and Terry's trained by Damian. Follows with the #700 canon, which honestly hasn't yet been proven FULLY canon by any of the comics. It is Morrison-canon, so...

But if they've made the Batman Beyond future canon, then it's definitely unlikely that Bruce will ever settle down.
Not exactly. Three things:

- The current "canon" Batman Beyond future has Damian training Terry, and not Bruce. (confirmed in the latest Superman/Batman Annual)
- The "canonization" of Beyond was made in the #700 issue, which had a completely unconnected story which was more of a tribute to Batman's entire story than exactly something CANON to begin with.
- The old Beyond DCAU universe is currently taking shape in a comic that is canon in its own universe rather than on DC's main Earth.

Planet Hulk was excellent, but I really didn't like World War Hulk as much.

Yeah, Skaar would be cool as a playable character. Personally, we need some Lockjaw action to counter Ama!
Read Banner & Son and the conclusion to the storyline written by Pak. Hell, just get the single issue that has the Hulk vs Skaar battle. It's awesome, and it's taking the Hulk concept alot further than the current bullshit spawned by Loeb.

Calling it now. Nomura announces a new title, with a trailer that's 100% CG. For one and a half to two years, we will see absolutely NOTHING of that title, except knowing that it exists once in awhile with more info. Then Nomura ends up finishing it in 5 years or so.

Funnily enough, Tim and Damian seem to be turning into the main Batman and Robin of the DCU, getting roles in Detective Comics, Batman, Batman & Robin, Streets of Gotham and JLA. Bruce seems to be confined to Batman Inc and Batman: The Dark Knight for now. I guess he's truly going international. I wonder how long will the Batcave remain closed now...

One thing I AM looking forward to, is the Selina issue of The Return. Since it's about important characters coming to terms with Bruce coming back, I find it important that her and Bruce measure their relationship, and find out where it's going. I know it's extremely unlikely, but I'd really like Bruce to settle down and be happy sometime. He could continue doing his Batman schtick, but having an actual family to take care of would be important for him.

REALLY gotta try Ollie books sometime.

I wish we didn't constantly go back to DC everytime we tried talking about Marvel. =P The improvement of one company's comics over another is astounding, but I almost feel sorry for Marvel's current bullshit.

Anyway, good Marvel... hm... good Marvel...

Well, Greg Pak has taken over the Hulk title in the best way possible, and recently finished the Hulk and Son/World War Hulks arc with one of the best conclusions I've seen in a Hulk story, going past all that "HULK IS MONSTER BUT NOT REALLY" bullshit. I'd really like it if Skaar was a playable character. Teenage long-haired Hulk with a Conan look, plus sword and Earth powers? It's awesome!

Getting away from the Quesada crap, who here has any theories on how the next Batman & Robin will envelop? Seeing as there will be more Batman issues in October than there are weeks in the month, I'm really excited about it. The final conclusion to the amazing and awesome Morrison story that we have been reading since Batman & Son is almost here, and a whole new status quo will be born for the Bat. I really can't wait.

Heh, I consider him more of a Green Arrow villain.
I've never read his stuff from Green Arrow, but DAMN, I hated his stuff in Batman. Smith wrote it like a [tornado fang]ing fanboy. Widening Gyre surpasses all the fanboy bullshit and goes even deeper into crap, but that's easily explained by Smith saying he's heavily stoned while doing it and can't really remember what he wrote when he wakes up in the morning.

Meh. We need no more attention to Batman pissing himself. >_>

Not saying the Megaman plot can't be ADAPTED into something better. Anything can, really. The Protomen is an example of that.

The best story that could ever be made would be if Megaman Universe was some kind of ultimate multiversal multidimensional crossover between all different Megamen, together to stop a threat from annihilating all of reality.

(I really gotta put some damn variety into my recent literature. This [parasitic bomb]'s affecting me badly >_>)

As am I.  Sega could always surprise us, though.
Look on the bright side. Maybe they could focus that development time in giving us more levels instead of a character that plays pretty much the same on repeated levels.

Yeah, he won't be coming back. Neither will his alter ego, S/N
Heheheh. I remember this one forum I was in, where a guy had about three different registered nicknames, and kept worshipping himself all the time. Ah, how times pass.

Back on topic, I'd KILL for playable Hercules or playable Amadeus Cho. That would be the next best thing to having a playable cast of Marvel Cosmic.

My question here is, why? why did capcom made this game??? they should be focusin on the goddamn story for crying out loud....*sigh*
Oh yes. How shall we survive without the huge detailings of this amazing narrative? Megaman's all about the story, of course. Nothing else really matters.

The customization and level design does look good.

Graphics still look like [parasitic bomb], though. Come on, Capcom...

For the record, my problem wasn't that certain scene (as I said, it at least made sense, even if the ham factor was a little higher than it should have been.) My problem was with how stupid the entire story was. It honestly felt more like a random fanfiction taken from the Internet instead of something more polished. I also wasn't a fan of how this story essentially forced the game into a mostly linear form.

I know some will quickly argue the invisible walls theory used with RPGs and even later Metroid titles, where every game, short of glitching, that appears open is set in invisible corridors as the programmers intend a game to be played a certain way. That's cool and all, but there are times where I either don't want to continue the story and go exploring somewhere else (but herp, I can't because a door is force locked) or authorization is nonsensical in some cases.

There's also the whole introduction of a key character and key plot point aiming to tug the player's emotions around 10 minutes before the credits rolled. The only time in recent memory I've seen that work is in Metal Gear Solid 4, and even then it was a bit contrived (but that's for another topic.)
tl,dr: The story of the game was a narrative mess, it was simplistic and sloppy.

He's been getting baby steps towards quality for a long time. It's alright to be proud of his development as you would clap to see a retarded kid tie his own shoes without drooling.

Proved to be the stuntman, and the outfit isn't the official, final one.

Although it does look pretty cool. Inspired in the Ultimates WW2 outfit.
