I have. The selection is already little, and I want the soundtrack to a game that's quite obscure (surprisingly). So I need to rip it myself. Any way?

Since I pretty much just played it on a store and hated the overall game, I'm gonna download it and try it for myself.

Then I'll do a little review here. =P

What if it's from a Master System game?

While I will admit that good graphics are nice to have in a game, they're not necessary. It's up to the developers to determine how they want the graphics. We get what we get. Personally, I don't care for graphics. So many people [sonic slicer]ed about Wind Waker's graphics, yet it's regarded as one of the best Zelda games nonetheless.
Yes they ARE. See, Wind Waker's graphics are [tornado fang]ing beautiful! Wind Waker is one of the games I know with the best and most timeless graphics of all time.

Jesus Christ, I just explained what good graphics are. They don't mean REALISM, they mean BEAUTY. Games which have graphics far from realistic can be absolutely gorgeous. But ugly games are always ugly. This is what I mean. Not detailed graphics, but GOOD ones. A good-looking game.

Back in my day, Twix temporarily changed its name to Raider.

The game gets very few details, but the ones it gets, I like.

Just one thing... doesn't the game LOOK a bit... amateur-ish... at parts? I mean, the concept and everything is awesome, but on the graphical level, they don't seem to be doing much, and those platforming parts looked charming but not really very well done. In terms of gameplay, platform positioning, and the way Mickey moves.

I might be nitpicking ALOT, and seeing as this is my most expected upcoming game for the Wii, I'm not badmouthing it or anything, but I'd really like it if they improved certain small elements.

Was Judgment any good at all?
No.

I was complaining about the horrible style, but I guess horrible controls, horrible camera and other mistakes count.

You're right, there's no Mario riding a helicopter or a big shiny Peach statue anywhere in that game.
Nitpickers. Cameo for a character whose name is on the title? Doesn't count.

I'm beginning to think you have a stick firmly lodged up your ass, bro
8D

I'm beginning people really have no exposition to any sort of quality story whatsoever if they consider an event like that something with EMOTIONAL DEPTH.

My last bowel movement had more emotional depth than that.

That's a Crossover Event, not a standardized comic arc. Because those do happen in chapters.

Heck, manga happens like that too. Get to any long battle, it'll last for ages and ages. Comics make events last, but battles, not so much. And event comics are numbered from the beginning, you can see where it ends right away. Manga makes stuff last waaaaaaay longer than usual many times due to more and more filler.

World Rally Championship for PSP

Beautiful game.
How does it stack to others in quality? Last Rally game I played was the DIRT series. Think this is a good next step for me?

Of course it had more emotional depth than other Metroid games. It's easy when all your other games have ZERO EMOTIONAL DEPTH. The only emotions come from the gamers going "Ooooh such beautiful scenery, I bet Samus is feeling this or that, she must be really badass, I will count this as my own canon personality and I will be extremely pissed off at Nintendo if they ever reveal her true one!"

Ultimately your own personal enjoyment of the game is what's most important, even more so than the actual game itself. But, like our most excellent friend said, it's a superbuy for Superbat for some games, so personal reviews of a game are extremely important when it comes to making a decision to spend $90. It's no different then looking for a digital camera to buy. Trailers & Gameplay Videos are primarily a source of marketing, and they can make it look nice. But thanks to the internet, we can now easily read personal opinions on products, which are perhaps the most important reviews of them all.
Exactly. I just don't like it when people act like reviews are the devil. Although your personal opinion is always more important, reviews HELP. There aren't demos and pirated gaming for everything, so people should seriously trust a reviewer or two, or general public opinion once in awhile.

Also,Thats the thing though. manga is very fundamentally different than Comic books, in the way stories are told in them. especially since manga tends to take a more episodic "chapter" approach than Comics do. but maybe thats just me.
Manga takes more episodic "chapter" approaches? You don't really know in what format comics are usually sold, do you?

Long story short: Humans are dicks. Humans are always dicks. Even when they're trying to be nice.
Doesn't sound very complicated. But I guess I'll try it. I should read before criticizing.

>implying good graphics are necessary.
>implying they are not

...if you LIKE shitty graphics or have some kind of fetish with it, that's fine by me. Good graphics mean GOOD GRAPHICS, not "every game needs to be in 3D", I do mean that the graphics of the game itself  look bad, the game looks ugly, the textures are [parasitic bomb], and honestly, lots of other people have been complaining about it.

So yes, good graphics, such as good sound, good gameplay and good replay factor are important for a game's quality. Any game.

Allow me to take a moment to BLOW YOUR MINDS:

Quality varies between works, it has nothing to do with if it's manga, anime, movie version or book version.
Standards are different in different forms of culture though.

Books normally have higher standards of narrative. Manga have pretty much the lowest.

Anime movies do have amazing standards sometimes.

Closest thing: Monster

Saw that coming, right?

Also this:
Only saw a bit of the anime. Didn't seem that amazing to me. What's the concept and what's it about?

Yeah, well there's that too. But I also like to formulate my own opinion if I can.
I do that on the Wii, PSP and DS, because those are pirateable. But for 360/PS3, I do rely ALOT on reviews and general public consent in order to get only the best games.

Trust me, you would too if you had to pay 75 euros ($95) for each and every single game you bought.
