The problem is that Kinect is trying to market itself to a crowd that the Wii has a monopoly on. Kinect might get the average gamer who wants Panzer Dragoon and such, but I don't think it will ever make the kind of money they're hoping for.
I really don't want it to fail. Microsoft needs to be a healthy competitor in the motion race right now if all companies are to deliver healthy experiences.

...also, the PS Move won't work well with me. You need to be farther away from the TV than the distance allowed for me from my PC screen allows. I hope they fix this, as the Wii Remote doesn't have any trouble playing as close as this.

We have some awesome Multiversity news here. Morrison's gonna Morrison like he never Morrisoned before.

Quote
We thought it would be appropriate to re-think and update the kind of in-your-face self-relecting narrative techniques used by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons and to apply them to a whole new story which asks ‘what if Watchmen had been conceived now, in the contemporary political landscape and with the Charlton characters themselves, rather than analogues?

So the cover hs a close-up on a burning peace flag and a Delmore Schwartz quote – ‘Time is the school in which we learn, time is the fire in which we burn’ – and it all blossoms from there.

Oh, and if Alan Moore bitches about the lack of creativity at DC today, saying all stories have been his own stories remade...

Quote
They’re designed to be told over and over again. If you were an Aboriginal kid or a tribal shaman, that’s what you’d do, you’d participate in the recycling of old stories, the ‘revamping’ of characters and scenarios, the explaining away of plot holes. Some to the job with more skill than others, but if you work with Marvel, DC or other companies’ pulp fiction characters, you’re basically repainting pictures of the ancestors on cave walls.

Basically, [tornado fang] OFF, ALAN MOORE. MORRISON IS GOD OF COMICS NOW.

- Logic Chess: use for interrogation of tough suspects, throw a series of questions at the suspect, pick one question from two options, utilizes chess visuals in the background
- the following new characters were announced:
Mikiko Hayami: a reporter
Taro Tanaka: a mysterious icecream seller
Outeikun: President of the Republic of Zheng Fa
Hakari Mikagami: A female judge
- Mikagami is Miles' new rival for Investigations 2
- she's considered the 'god of law'
- design was based of an older girl Iwamoto looked up to during his school years
- "She's tough on the law, so she's really tough on people who break the law."
- due out Spring 2011 in Japan
If there's no romantic clash between her and Miles in this game, and they don't end up [tornado fang]ing like bunnies, I won't like it.

See? Edward Cullen's exactly like this. Only better sculpted. More faggy details.

Finally, some Versus gameplay. I'm betting it has Crisis Core's gameplay. Looks like it. Too bad the gameplay isn't more KH-ish action oriented. Then again, we can't tell yet.

As do I, if by "regular feed," you mean "newspaper every morning."
Newspapers are a necessity. I can't survive without the smell of fresh ink every morning.

That's not what doomed it. What doomed it was paying more for less and no backwards compatibility.

Kinect could fail for the same reason. $150 for the thing is a tad pricey.
Kinect will fail unless it's got a healthy lineup. Time will tell. Some people thought the Wii would fail too. Look what happened. Nintendo themselves were [tornado fang]ing surprised at the beast they created.

Daniel Craig is the first believable Bond who isn't a Hollywood schmuck with a pretty face who throws unfunny wisecracks at every second. Dude manages to have style and be professional, just like the original Bond.

Brosnan's just a Ken doll.

And honestly, I used to love Sean Connery, but the guy's an [dark hold] now. And he ended his movie career in the lowest note possible.

I was perfectly accurate with the PSPGo!  8)
That's because the PSPGo's policies had the console doomed to fail since the beginning.

Devs: "Do we have to release the titles we are making for the PSP in a downloadable form for the PSPGo?"

Sony: "Naaaaaah, only if you WANT to!" 8D

Random fact:  I don't watch TV.

Seriously.  I don't watch TV.  We have a TV, but it's not hooked up to cable, or satellite, or a converter box, so we don't get stuff through the antenna, either.  The TV's used to watch movies and play games, and even then, that's an at most once-a-week occurrence.  So therefore, I don't watch TV.
Me neither. I just use mine for gaming, and DVDs. I get my news through my regular feed.

Oh that Ramirez. I remember now.
Yeah... No. Sean wins no contest. Robert Downy Jr is great, and he was practically born to play Tony Stark, buuut... I mean come on. Sean's freaking rich, has a CASTLE in Scotland, and was the original Bond. (in my opinion, the only other Bond who was ever as good as Connery was Brosnan.)
And now, has a cameo in a Castlevania game, even though its unofficial and likely unintentional

Ill let my buddy Craig tell you why he's awesome.

Aaand now the thread has officially derailed into who the sexiest actor of all time is. 8D
Robert Downey Jr didn't refuse to do Indiana Jones in order to do this for pure [tornado fang]ing nacionalism:

Kinect is actually non-existent as far as my interest list goes.  Stick to marketing real [tornado fang]ing games, Microsoft.
You tried it? You tried its games and what they do? You know its status years down the line? I'm so glad you can see the future.

Launch lineups often suck. Give it time before saying it's not a real game.

And Yet im certain you loved it when you could play as Knuckles and tails in Sonic3 and Knuckles. they all could spindash, but at the same time, they all had character specific abilites.

thats something that I agree with Hyper on.
Because his gameplay would REALLY be easy to introduce in a game like Colors, huh? Or Tails'!

Knuckles and Tails have enough abilities to be considered diferent characters altogether, to change the game itself in its obstacles. Blaze does not. I honestly considered her just a boring extra in Rush.

Bat you can trust me, I'd LOVE to play it, but Kinect is so far down by interest list that there have to be at least 10 (good) games for it before I consider a purchase.
It's getting there. Trust me, it took time for me with the Wii as well. =P

We're gonna have a Panzer Dragoon game, and we're gonna get that rythm game made by the Lumines guy. We're also gonna have stuff from Ubi Soft, Rare, and many others. Stuff's coming.

...aaaaaaaand this is when I go to bed and reply tomorrow or something. Arguing about your unexplainable fetish for rubbing yourself against characters who play exactly like one another aside from a few small differences is one of those things I got no patience for right now.

I dunno...
Are "R"s trilled in Portuguese?
"Borges" I have no idea. Maybe "boar-gez"... or is the "g" pronounced with a breathy "h"?
"Da Gama" looks fairly self-explanatory.
It doesn't help at all that I've never heard Portuguese being spoken or read (well except for that one time I saw that Portuguese man rant about Twilight, but there was no Portuguese text to accompany his diatribe).
...he was Brazillian. >___>
