"You gave up your free will? For power? That doesn't sound like you at all!" Fxeni says as he swings his unlit weapon at Quickie. She dodges it swiftly and throws some Quick Boomerangs at Fxeni, who knocks them out of the air with Yamalok. Really happy I have that sixth sense... Fxeni thinks to himself as he dodges and blocks some more of them.

"What do you know, Fxeni? You've been gone for two years... I changed for the better during that time!" Quickie taunts as she runs around Fxeni to confuse him.

"The Quickie I knew wouldn't do that... she was stronger than that!" Fxeni said as he readied Yamalok, paying attention to her movements.

"Hah! I'm stronger now than I ever was alone!" Quickie said as she suddenly went to attack Fxeni from behind. He senses this and pushes the end of Yamalok into her chest, sending her flinging away to the ground.

"Stronger than you especially... why didn't you use your beams there? You could have ended it right there!" She said menacingly as she twisted in midair and set herself standing. "But because you're too caring, both you and your friend are finished!"

"I won't let you hurt her! I don't know what the doc did-" Fxeni started, but then he quickly dodged an attack by Quickie. Unfortunately for him, she follows it up with another attack that's too quick for him. He attempts to block it and succeeds, but the impact against his weapon still hits him squarely in the gut and sends him into the wall.

"Guh!" Fxeni lets out as he smacks the wall and kneels to the ground momentarily. His vision blurs momentarily, but he shakes it off and looks at Quickie. Even with Haste I'm not quick enough to dodge her, whether I see the attack or not he thinks to himself. I'll have to outsmart her without causing too much damage...

"HA! You aren't able to save yourself, much less her!" Quickie exclaims as she tosses more Quick Boomerangs his way. He pulls out the blaster from his holster and fires at them, knocking some of them out of the air and dodging the rest. Quickie gets there before he can do anything else though and holds him up to the wall, making him drop both his weapons. "The only way you'd be able to do that is if you had more power... like me! Join us, you'll never feel powerless like this again!"

Fxeni ponders for a moment about this. He obviously would never give in, but he did think about her comment about not using the beams of Yamalok. I don't really need to hold back that much... and I don't think I have much of a choice right now he thinks as he formulates a plan.

"Heh... who says I feel powerless?" Fxeni says as he closes his eyes and activates the same flashbang device he used back on the Fxenodrome. This blinds Quickie momentarily and makes her loosen her grip. I'm sorry about this Quickie Fxeni thinks to himself as he takes advantage of the moment and kicks her away, swiftly picks up Yamalok and slashes at her with full force. Just before the beams of Yamalok connect with her, though, an energy barrier makes itself visible around Quickie's contours and blocks them. Ah crap... that's not good Fxeni thinks as the force of the attack flings Quickie away from him.

"Hahaha... that's more like it! Show me what feeble power you have, Fxeni... and I'll show you how worthless it is!" Quickie says as she gets up and throws more Quick Boomerangs. Fxeni pushes himself as hard as he can to block them all with Yamalok, now fully in Scythe mode, and manages to pull it off. "Interesting... most interesting!" Quickie says gleefully.

I've got a bad feeling about this... Fxeni thinks to himself uncomfortably. He also wondered how PBPB was doing at that moment.

Thanks for that Zan, particularly with the second to last paragraph. I didn't feel like repeating myself for the umpteenth time.

Also, I hate Scaravich's stage for that. I always get the segment that's ridiculous with unarmoured X. Always.

Ehh... not that excited to be honest. The battle system kind of annoys me now, especially when it comes to playing the game in multiplayer. I know plenty of people that will be happy about this, but sadly I'm not one of them.

(My brain is super tired right now, which might make this more random. Just a heads up.)

Fxeni and PBPB run through the ISS, being as cautious as possible along the way.

"Try to keep quiet... The last time we were here S.W.A.R.M. was in control," PBPB suggested to Fxeni.

"S.W.A.R.M.? Oh right, the Robot Mistresses... Well, I don't think we'll -" Fxeni started.

"NOVA WOMAAAAAAAAANN!" A voice sings from a nearby room. Startled by this, the duo stop abruptly by the doorway almost collapsing before getting a hold of themselves. They peek into the room cautiously, listening to the voice continue to sing its name overlapped by running water. They see a closed standup shower, with a figure dancing around while singing away in the water.

"Why would a robot need to take a shower?" Fxeni asks in a muddled voice, confused by what he's seeing.

"What the hell does it matter?! Just forget about it and keep moving dammit!" PBPB says annoyed while pushing Fxeni forward past the doorway further into the hallway.

"It doesn't make any sense though!" Fxeni continues, rubbing his forehead with one hand while starting to walk away.

"Look, don't make me [tornado fang]ing make you forget!" PBPB threatens while pushing him forward.

"Alright, alright! Sheesh..." Fxeni said while picking up the pace.

"Men! Always thinking with your dicks!" PBPB exclaimed.

"Oh you know I have more self control than that! Besides, it's just a robot... I'm not into that type of thing. I was just wondering why the hell a robot would be taking a shower like that, since it makes no sense..." Fxeni divulges. PBPB knows that he's being honest, but she kind of enjoys messing with him.

"Oh? What ARE you into then?" PBPB asks with a grin.

"Is this really the time for that?" Fxeni replies, quickly glancing over to PBPB.

"Why are you avoiding the question? Too timid? And don't you go asking if this is really the time for it, you started this with your dumb question!" PBPB teases.

"That question was valid!" Fxeni replies, "Besides, it helped pass the time while we-"

The Haste spell runs out of time suddenly, making the duo stumble around a bit trying to readjust to their regular speeds. Fxeni regains his composure first, and grabs onto PBPB's arm to help her stabilize herself.

"You alright?" Fxeni asks, letting go of her.

"Yeah, thanks. I can handle myself just fine though!" PBPB replies as she starts to walk ahead.

"Oh I know, I know" Fxeni replies shaking his head a bit.

The duo continues through the station, walking carefully now that they know S.W.A.R.M. is closeby. They weave through the corridors extremely cautiously, making their way to their destination. Fxeni peeks into the control room first, activating his scouter to scan the room. Nothing of note showed up, so Fxeni motioned for them to enter the room. Once inside the room, they headed over to the console.

(That's enough out of me for now. It's PB's turn now, methinks!)

PBPB and Fxeni approached the I.S.S. gradually in their mechs, weaving through nearby debris as they went along. There's more than I thought there would be... Fxeni thought to himself as he tried to keep track off the debris floating around. He kept an eye on the Hyper Jammers' stability as they approached their destination, hoping it could last long enough for them to get inside the station undetected. Seeing a larger piece of debris floating along, Fxeni decides to latch on to it and push it gradually towards the entrance they wanted to use. PBPB wondered what the hell he was up to, but she knew that he must of had some crazy idea.

As they approached the door that they wanted to use, they ground to a halt next to it. Fxeni took out the schematics of the station and examined them briefly before finding what he wanted. The Fxescythe's hand slid across the wall next to the door until reaching a peculiar panel on it. Fxeni pushed it in and slid it, revealing an emergency door opener. He placed the Fxescythe's hand in it and made it spin, gradually opening the doors next to them.

As the doors opened, a monitor flashed orange. Fxeni looked at it and cursed under his breath, attempting to speed up the process before the Hyper Jammers gave out. The monitor started to flash red once the door was opened. With no time to lose, Fxeni gestured for PBPB's Ardjet to get into the station. Once PBPB was fully inside, Fxeni regrabbed the large piece of debris and pushed it into the station with them. Once inside, Fxeni closed the door with a similar emergency door handle on the inside as the Hyper Jammers' functionality fizzled out. Now fully visible, the mechs stood out like a sore thumb inside the hangar they now found themselves in. Pointing to an isolated corner in the room, Fxeni dragged the debris along to it. PBPB at once understood what he was doing, went into the corner and had the Ardjet kneel over as much as possible. Fxeni did the same with the Fxescythe, and then dragged the debris over to cover the mechs up.

"Are you sure that's going to work?" PBPB whispered over to Fxeni once they were both out of their respective mechs.

"Certainly better than leaving them out in the open for the world to see... with any luck, it'll work out just fine," Fxeni replied, looking over the schematics of the station yet again.

"Do you think that they noticed the door being opened?" PBPB inquired.

"Probably not, Peebs... since the emergency handle is manual, it shouldn't trigger any alarms. Well uh... keyword being shouldn't," Fxeni said with a tiny tinge of concern in his voice.

"Yeah well these- wait a second! STOP CALLING ME THAT!" PBPB said angrily.

"Not a chance!" Fxeni said with a grin.

"I'll find some stupid nickname for you, just you wait!" PBPB pouted.

"Uh huh," Fxeni said with a shrug. "Now umm... here," He said as he pulled out the device he was tinkering with back in his quarters and handed it over to PBPB.

"Oh this thing. What the hell is it for?" she asked as she turned it around in her hands.

"It should help you regain control of the station, just in case something happens to me in here," he replied as he looked around the room a bit. PBPB just stared at the device for a moment, then looked back up to Fxeni.

"What the hell do you mean just in case something happens to you? You're not planning to do something extremely stupid, are you?" PBPB inquired harshly.

"Not at all! But you know me, I like to be prepared," Fxeni replied with a small smile.

"True enough... but you better not be [tornado fang]ing lying to me, or else I'm really going to hurt you later!" PBPB said, poking Fxeni's chest repeatedly.

"Don't worry about it, Peebs! Now, shall we? We have quite the trek ahead of us," Fxeni assured her.

"A trek? Why?" PBPB asked with a glare in her eyes.

"Well, there's a reason this door was the least guarded... it's the furthest away from anything," Fxeni said a bit sheepishly, starting to walk down the hangar towards the closest door.

"Fantastic." PBPB retorted dryly, following his lead.
