I've been listening to the stuff from Zelda Reorchestrated, namely Gerudo Valley at this very moment.

I don't really remember why I wandered into here so long ago. To give the MM community another chance, I suppose. I liked the general atmosphere around here, so I guess I decided to stick around.

Feels good to be spriting again. I guess I needed some type of goal to get back into it.

I always found the price on those to be absolutely ridiculous. That goes for the contract too. I dunno, if you think it's worth it, go for it. There must be an option with a more reasonable price out there (not that I would know in this case).

Well, the early episodes of DS9, I'd say about the first 2-3 seasons, weren't really that good at all.  However, when it picked up, I thought it was one of the best series ever.
See, that's probably why I gave up on DS9. I never really got to the good stuff, I suppose. As for Voyager... well, it wasn't the best of series, but it did have it's moments. It wasn't great, but I don't think it was all that horrible.

Now uh... I guess I'll have to be the devil's advocate. Now, as much as I'd personally like a new Sega System, I have to take a step back and take a good look at this. I'm not sure that many third party companies will want to support it, considering what happened in the past. Also, most consumers will have a hard time picking between 4 major consoles... I mean, 3 is tough as it is. It'll be an uphill battle for Sega if this is true, but it's up to them. Good luck Sega, may this go better than some of your previous outings.

Neo Arcadia's existence made more sense before X7 and X8 came out, I find. What with civilization recovering, it kinda defeats the purpose of Neo Arcadia. Yeah yeah, then they came up with the Elf Wars to destroy everything again, but still.

PSP SNES emulation doesn't suck. Use the latest SNES9X TYL.

Just turn on frame skip (and get used to it), set the speed to 60fps, the processing power to 333 and you're all set. ^^
Mileage varies for this though... I know it still bugs me to no end whenever I try.

As for MHX... well, everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I enjoy MHX quite a bit, but I still prefer X1 in general.

I personally think that censoring something that's already made is wrong, and shouldn't be done. Don't think that it's appropriate for a certain age group? Then put a damn rating on it. At least, it should be that simple, but some parents don't even bother looking at the rating, as stupid as that is.

In the end, it's mostly about the parenting. While it's true that parents can't be around all the time, that doesn't give the right to censor everything. The parents should explain what's right and wrong when it comes to what the child sees, instead of relying on the media to censor out all the questionable content. Start explaining things at an early age, and usually most bad influences can be avoided. Of course, you can't expect kids to be perfect, and you can't always blame the parents or the media for how the act. What's needed is a healthy rating system that doesn't butcher shows to pieces, and for the parents to actually follow said rating system. That's not easily achievable, unfortunately... especially the latter.

John Talbain and B.B. Hood are fun to use. They should make an HD version.
And leave Morrigan's sprite the same, for the sake of tradition.

I always liked the amount of effort you put into your shading, Quickie. It turns out really great in the end. I'm far too lazy to make that many shades, myself. Hell, half the time I just colour it in a don't bother with the shading all that much. I could do it, considering every colour I have is a different layer, but getting to it is a different story.

Anyways, point is that I admire the amount of work and effort you put into it, and it looks awesome. Great Job.

Look, Ramzal... I know what you mean. But there's a difference between having to put censorship everywhere and parents actually paying attention to what their kids are doing. That's all I'm gonna bring up concerning the kids yelling "Where'z mah bitches!". That's irresponsible parenting more than anything else.

The fact that they actually did censor Looney Tunes at all is a bit much. I have actually seen Looney Tunes, back when some channels still showed them as "Merry Melodies". Those weren't censored quite as much, and when they stopped showing those, I noticed the change. Shorts that were the regular 7 minute intervals before were suddenly a fricking minute in length in some cases (very few, but did happen), because apparently it was too violent, which wasn't usually the case. When it comes to racist comments and the like, yeah, I can understand that being cut out. But cutting out a good portion of the other segments was a tad much. Now, all I'm saying is that this is one case of it going too far, whether it's recent or not. So no, it isn't bullshit. Also, I have seen some Looney Tunes nowadays that are even more cut down than they were before, which was a more recent development. Now, some parts of Looney Tunes can be inappropriate, yes... but in these cases, it's the whole Short itself rather than a singular section. Some of the stuff they've cut out is overdoing it.

The reason I don't like TV nowadays is because the writing just doesn't seem as good overall. The reason I called out censorship in this case is because writers aren't writing as creatively as they used to (in my opinion), not because people weren't shooting each other left and right. I have read some cases where it was because they felt constrained a bit. Not to say that that's reason the writing can seem weak all the time, but the issue has come up. I'm not saying all the shows I used to watch were all that good either, but it certainly feels like the quality was a notch higher then than it is now.
