They need to make it so that items aren't suddenly useless after the dungeon you found it in.

True enough, although they'd have to put some effort into finding it. It's not like you have to accept either :P

I somehow doubt it'll be released then, but it's nice to know that they're hard at work about it.

Heh, I'll only put it up if you want me to. I didn't want to add anyone to this list that didn't want to get added, y'know?

Gaming / Re: Sega to Announce a New Shinobi game in 2010?
« on: January 06, 2010, 12:59:11 AM »
Nightshade, its sequel, says "holla at yer gurl".  8)

Seriously, most of the quirks that people had a problem with in Shinobi were fixed in Kunoichi. There were checkpoints, and it overall was an easier game. Especially since you didn't HAVE to play as Hotsuma and his nifty-peachy sword that would suck up your soul, if you didn't feed its needs.  8D

Beyond that, reviewers liked to complain about how you had to learn air combos and proper usage of the air dash, in order to progress in the game. Please...just learn your combos, and you LIVE. That's all there is to it! 8D
Never got to play the sequel, unfortunately. If this game is actually made, let's hope they stay on track then.

If the rumours are true, an action game like the PS2 one. If they're actually making one, here's to hoping they've learned from their mistakes on the PS2 one.

Personally, the X2 Mavericks are the easiest in the entire series.

I always felt the ones in X3 were far easier. Especially Crush Crawfish.

Super Metroid and Zero Mission are my favourites of the series, by far.

As for the Prime games... well, the first one is my favourite of the bunch. Prime 2 had it's moments, but I wasn't fond of the ammo count in any way or form. The third one was too much on the linear side.

Eh, these methods of labeling are heavily dependent on how much free time one has, and how much money one has. Besides, labeling itself is pretty lame; never saw the point.

Ah, Area 6... probably the best place to rack up a good score. Best place to die too, if you're not careful.

Don't remember the exact number unfortunately, and I can't check due to my dad erasing all the scores when I lent the game to him. It was over 2000, that much I remember. Not too sure I can pull that off again, that was back when I was playing the game like... daily. Expert difficulty, of course, since there's much more to kill.

Ah, good ol StarFox. It's been mentioned on these forums a few times. First things first though;

StarFox Music> StarFox 64 Music.

Now that that's out of the way, I like this series for the most part. The first two are at the top of the list for obvious reasons. On Foot StarFox is a no-no, unless it's on it's own and not mixed in with the flying and driving (I second the JFG motion here). They should really make another game with the Corridor/All-Range ratio of SF64. It doesn't feel like a StarFox game without the proper amount of Corridor segments.

Bill's hat is great. Certainly looks better than some of the other hats.

I like my Fancy Fedora, though.

obviously you need half of them to dash.
Nah, you need half to be able to jump. You get the dash if you get all of them.

Yeah, you can tell it was him. I remember that commercial too... eerie.

Anyways, that FF Theme one was much better than some of the more recent ones.

Call me a nostalgia freak, but I have to go with this one:
(video here)
Zero Mission has such an orgasmic soundtrack.
Yeah, I like the Zero Mission soundtrack too. Although, I prefer this, personally:

Along with the Boss theme that has now become Ridley's theme:
