Fight scenes can be hard to pull off. Keeping everyone's limits in mind is a big thing to remember, since it's quite easy to have someone (or one side) be more effective than they should be. Keep at it though Sakura, you're improving!

On a separate note... I'm not looking forward to Wednesday. At all. I have decisions to make, and the ones that are going to be better in the long run are going to make things way harder in the short run. Probably won't make me look too great in the eyes of some people... then again, these people are a source of most of the issues I'm dealing with right now, so I'm not exactly inclined to care much. They'll probably make my life much harder than it needs to be once I do what needs to be done, though.

Hey man, as far as I'm concerned dashing in X games started to fall apart as early as X3! Stupid upwards air-dash -u-'

Then they should have given the air-dash to everyone, much like X8. No excuse. It's just poor design foresight.

I like having to think. Getting things early by using damage invincibility intelligently? Sign me up! Having no way to progress on a required path without rearranging my base setup and restarting said path? No. As simple as that.

I don't recall ever saying every classic game is perfect, either. A flaw is a flaw, no matter where you find it. You can like the game all you want, but the fact of the matter is that it's a flaw. I'm more lenient when it comes to optional paths (even though it admittedly still bugs me), but on a required path it's out of the question.

You know what would happen if Cell and Freeza merged?

They would become Free-Cell.

Dur hur hur. :B

Also probably due to the RP...

Back in St. Acidburg, Fxeni is getting everything back into order on the Fxenodrome as quickly as possible. He teleports PBPB's Ardjet and his Fxescythe into the hangar, knowing that they will be probably seeing use soon enough. He turns on the long-range scanners on the Fxenodrome to see if the Doc has any sneaky plans up his sleeve. Sure enough, he registers 5 Wily II robots heading towards St. Acidburg.

"Guys, we've got company! 5 Wily II bots are heading our way!" Fxeni exclaims over the intercom to the other resistance members. "Let's keep them away from Vixy and PB!"

"Roger that!" Sakura responds.

Fxeni begins to scan the robots for weaknesses. Knowing the Doc all too well, he knew that there had to be a glaring weakness on them. As he scans them, he fires off a beam towards them to grab their attention.

(Figured I'd get the ball rolling a bit.)

It's amazing... they found a way to top OMD. That takes some skilled dumbassery. I wasn't sure that it could be done, but they managed it. Impressive, for all the very wrong reasons.

Speaking of which, is this their way around OMD? Really? Oi.

That means if you want to go through Gate's stages with unarmored X, that's not exactly the Game's problem, it's you trying to be a tough guy.
It is the game's problem. If you go in there first without the armour not knowing what's coming, you can't get through it. You have to kill yourself completely to restart with the proper optional parts / armour. Face it, it's bad game design. It should still be possible to get through with the bare minimum no matter what, precedent set or not. I seem to recall having a similar problem elsewhere in the game as well, although I cannot recall where exactly it was (haven't played X6 in a while).

Do notice I'm not defending Buebeam. I agree that's bad as well.

Having only one weapon you can defeat it with, with limited ammo, is bad game design. Because if you make a mistake, or go in without any ammo or low on it, you are [tornado fang]'d.
Agreed. That being said, having to use optional upgrades to be able to complete a level is also bad game design.

"We have to get out there and stop him from destroying everything!" Fxeni exclaims over to PBPB, who was shocking CascadeMan into submission.

"But what would be able to do? He's... AH!" PBPB starts to say until she gets smacked away by a giant weed growing under her. "I'M SICK OF BEING TOSSED AROUND BY THESE BASTARDS!" she exclaims as she starts hurling fire at WeedMan.

"We'll figure something out... we have to!" Fxeni says as he dodges claw swipes from TigerMan. He kicks TigerMan in the face, then pulls out Yamalok and twirls it around while extending it so that it whacks TigerMan under the chin. TigerMan is sent flying to the ground with this, colliding with the fridge on his way down. Arrows start whizzing past Fxeni with increasing speed, as he takes cover behind the counter.

"You'll be going nowhere! Nothing gets past my arrows!" ArcherMan exclaims proudly as he fires. He attempts to bank shots off of walls to hit Fxeni in his hiding spot. One such arrow barely misses getting Fxeni in the face as it whizzes in front of it.

While this is going on, PBPB is still hurling fire at WeedMan. Some of it connects, and he starts to burn.

"What a bummer!" WeedMan says as he starts to furiously attempt to pat it out. CascadeMan regains his composure, and sees WeedMan running around as the fire spreads.

"I think it's time to cool off a bit!" CascadeMan says as he fires a large blast of water at WeedMan to put the fires out. The fires go out, but WeedMan is sent careening into the wall due to the force of the blast.

"That's it!" Fxeni says, having had enough of getting shot at. "PBPB! Close your eyes!" he yells out as he pulls out a device and tosses it on top of the counter. A large blast of light blares out, overloading the sight circuits of the Robot Masters causing them to go blind temporarily. At this, Fxeni rushes out of his hiding spot towards ArcherMan. ArcherMan tracks Fxeni's position by listening to his footsteps, and fires in that general direction. Fxeni dodges these arrows until he reaches TigerMan, who is dazed and confused from both the attack from before and the blinding light. Fxeni grabs TigerMan from behind, and pushes him forward while running behind him. Arrows thunk into TigerMan as he is pushed forward. When they get close to ArcherMan, Fxeni kicks down TigerMan and uses him as a stepping stool, jumping in the air towards ArcherMan. Fxeni activates the scythe beam on Yamalok, and proceeds to slice off ArcherMan's arms while he flips over him. He lands behind ArcherMan and roundhouse kicks him in the head, knocking ArcherMan to the ground.

Meanwhile, CascadeMan was just about to blast PBPB with a torrent of water when he was blinded. PBPB takes the chance to attack, shocking him some more until his weapon bursts from being overloaded. Satisfied with this result for now, she turns around to look at WeedMan. WeedMan had created a shield of weeds around him, deciding that until his vision returns that he wouldn't be left vulnerable. PBPB started to fling fire at the weeds, but these were impervious to fire and wouldn't be set ablaze.

"Hey Fxeni, mind giving some help here for a second?" PBPB asked, looking over at Fxeni who had just finished kick ArcherMan to the ground.

"Sure thing!" Fxeni says as he picks up ArcherMan's bow, then he hopped over the counter next to PBPB. He readied up an arrow, which PBPB imbued with the power of fire. Fxeni turned on his scouter, scanning for WeedMan's location. Once he found him, he let the arrow fly. It pierced through the weeds and into its target, exploding into flames once it impacted WeedMan.

"That's not cool, man..." WeedMan says as he is gradually engulfed in flames, and unable to move because of the weed shield he had put up.

"Right well, let's get out of here!" Fxeni said as they rushed out of the kitchen.

"You do realize we're in deep trouble now, right?" PBPB asked with some concern.

"Yes well... aren't we always?" Fxeni replies as he types away at a nearby computer terminal.

"Not like this though... this is really bad!" PBPB exclaims.

"We'll find a way to fix things... ah, there we go!" Fxeni replies as the doors of the kitchen slam shut and are locked, "They won't be getting out of that room anytime soon."

"Alright, I'm going to head to the prison level to see what exactly they were doing to PB... that might give us some clues as to what to do next." PBPB said after a moment of pondering.

"Sounds good! I"ll head up to the control room and take back my damn fortress!" Fxeni says with conviction.

At this, they head their separate ways into the Fxenodrome.

(That took longer than I had hoped, but there it is.)

I wouldn't say I'm a tom boy but I am definitely more down to earth.  I hate makeup with a passion and you will almost never see me in a dress or skirt in a non formal occasion.  But at the same time I can't stand watching sports at all, I just get so bored watching them no matter what it is, especially if it's basketball or football.

I just can't understand "normal" girls, they just talk too much and they just do stupid things sometimes.  Some just grow up too fast, but since I'm not at that point I certainly don't understand it just yet, and I don't want to understand it just yet.   I know in some aspects I'm definitely behind in maturity, it's why I don't know how to drive just yet, I've always been slow on certain things.  But at the same time when I meet a "normal" girl I don't feel like I'm behind, I feel like I'm ahead of them despite the wall I have to go over sometimes.  All of my friends are guys and I connect much better with guys and I can understand them.

When my brother talks about his friends who are girls I can't believe that they're older than I am.  They act in a way that just doesn't make sense to me.  That saying that girls mature mentally than guys just seems outdated to me, I think we're about even now.

I always felt that it never had anything to do with age or gender, but with the way each individual is as well as their upbringing. Sure, the upbringing process is heavily affected by the gender, but the way the individual perceives the upbringing is also an important factor.

So uhh... yeah. On an unrelated note, I was looking into redesigning my character a bit. Not sure how I'll go about it though...

"Well... I needed some time away from here, what with all that nonsense with Ciel" Fxeni responded after a moment of silence. "I had been tinkering away with a device in my lab that would allow me to create doorways to other dimensions."

PBPB - "Other dimensions? You could have just gone to the Sex Shack or something!"

Fxeni - "Yeah well, I figured that working on something would get my mind off things. Besides, I wasn't quite myself at that time either. Boy did I regret that decision once I stepped through the portal though... I found myself in a war-torn landscape, and the portal shut itself behind me with no way to return."

PBPB - "Why would you make a device that would just shut portals behind people?"

Fxeni - "The thing is, I didn't. Someone or something shut it behind me, and the handheld portal opener I had brought with me that would link to it was tampered with. It more or less completely fizzled out when I tried to use it."

PBPB - "It was probably Ciel, don't you think?"

Fxeni - "No... not her style. She would've just destroyed it outright. No, I'm sure someone was keeping an eye on me and wanted me out of the way."

PBPB - "Right... well, why didn't you just fix the handheld portal opener and come back earlier?"

Fxeni - "I lost the device about a week in to a laser rifle shot. I was on the run for a good few months, then I decided that I had enough of running and took the war to them. I was fighting non-stop the whole time I was in that dimension... Yamalok sure got a lot of use."

PBPB - "How'd you get back?"

Fxeni - "Well, I-"

At this point, his scouter went off again. They had reached a large open cavern, with the Fxenodrome sitting in the middle of it. It seemed to be dormant for the time being, but Fxeni didn't trust it to remain that way for long.

(Well, off to work I go. Feel free to continue this, PB!)

"Let's go over there, there should be enough cover for our mechs there" Fxeni says as he points out a hidden secluded area away from any roads leading into the city. The Ardjet and Gundam Fxescythe Hell land unnoticed, and their pilots hop out of them. After making sure that the area was clear, PBPB teleports them into the underground depths below the city.

Once they've reached their destination, they take a good look around. The area seems to be a labyrinth of tunnels, obviously of unnatural origin.

"Well, whoever has the Fxenodrome certainly has been busy... what are they doing down here?" Fxeni remarked as he looked around the caves, trying to get his bearings and pulling out a flashlight.

"Let's go find out!" PBPB exclaims.

"Right..." Fxeni says as he thinks for a moment. He activates his scouter, which begins to display information of the area around them. He looks around, seeing if there's anything that shows up of interest. A faint signal shows up as he looks down one tunnel in particular. "This way!" he says as he starts to walk forward into the tunnel.

Fxeni pondered for a moment as he looked at the view screen. He figured that if someone was capable enough to steal the Fxenodrome, he probably shouldn't go rushing in alone. Either that, or it was... her... and he'd rather not deal with that alone either. He looked over at PBPB, and an idea popped up in his head.

"Hey PBPB... would you mind tagging along?" Fxeni inquired, "I've got a feeling that it's probably not a good idea for me to rush in there alone, especially considering the fact that whoever stole the Fxenodrome probably wouldn't want to let it go quietly."

"Absolutely! We're going to need that thing to counter Wily II's plans," PBPB answered, "and the quicker we find it the better!"

"Right... well, let's take our Mecha down. Normally I'd suggest something more covert, but I'd rather have something more battle-ready in case things get hairy" Fxeni replied while examining the surroundings around the Fxenodrome's location. "We could always just hide them away some ways from the city and go on foot, if anything."

"Sounds like a plan! I'll let the others know before we go" PBPB says as she turns around and informs the personnel on the bridge of her plans to depart. When she's done they both head down to the hangar, hop into their respective mecha and start heading down to St. Acidburg.

Fxeni woke up suddenly, startled by the loud music that blasted through the station. He had fallen asleep at some point while looking out the window, his back leaning on the wall behind him.

'What the heck is that?!" he thought to himself groggily as he wandered into the Hangar. There he saw the rather large crowd of people dancing to music around Boforte, who seems to be getting increasingly more annoyed at his predicament.

"Well, it looks like you're having fun this morning!" Fxeni said with a smirk to the captive.

"MAKE IT STOP!" Boforte yelled as he clasped his head with his hands.

"Now now, play nice!" Fxeni teased him as he patted his head.

"I'LL KILL YOU!" Boforte yelled in anger, swinging his arms around trying to get out of the net.

"Yeah yeah yeah... watch your temper, can't be healthy for you!" Fxeni said jokingly as he walked out of the hangar.

He headed towards the Bridge, but before he reached it he ran into Sakura's group. He only recognized Sakura at first glance but the rest of the entourage was unfamiliar to him, aside from one of them who looked oddly familiar for some reason.

"Heading out?" he inquired to Sakura, glancing briefly figure that looked oddly familiar. He understood why this time, once he got a good look at his face.

"I'm going to the city to relax, everything that's happened has worn me out a little" Sakura explained with a smile.

"Well, do enjoy yourself," Fxeni said with a smile then turned to the familiar figure, "you as well..."

"Asch... my name is Asch" he responded.

"Right, Asch. The same to you, Asch" Fxeni said with a smile, then continued on his way to the Bridge.

'So that's the W2PB that PBPB mentioned... well, he seems stable enough at the moment,' Fxeni thought to himself, 'and he certainly doesn't act like PB anymore.'

At this thought, he stopped for a moment. He had kind of hoped to see PB again upon his return to this reality. He was always able to toss ideas back and forth with PB, and his upbeat demeanor would certainly have helped ease Fxeni's mind a bit. Fxeni started to walk towards the Bridge again, thinking that once he found the Fxenodrome he would be able to help the search for PB more efficiently from there.

Fxeni reached the Bridge and looked around. Everything seemed to be in working order, so he started to make his way to the long-range scanners. "How are we doing, ADA?" he inquired with the computer.

"97% power has been restored, sir. You have been granted access to use the long-range scanners. What are you searching for, sir?" the computer responded.

"The Fxenodrome. Do you still have records on it?" Fxeni asked, hoping that some of the data from the old days remained.

"Yes, sir. Transmissions with the Fxenodrome were cut a year ago." ADA answered.

"A year ago? Odd..." Fxeni responded. Someone had been using the Fxenodrome during his absence, and he was none too pleased about that. "ADA, scan for the location of the Fxenodrome."

"Yes sir!" ADA answered as it began to scan the planet below for the Fxenodrome.

(I'll leave this here for now.)

Fxeni tinkered away at the Fxescythe, repairing the damage that was inflicted upon it. He examined the chest area intently with a worried look on his face.

'If he didn't lose all that power... that could have gone badly,' He thought while fixing the dents, ' I wonder where that power boost came from... it certainly wasn't his regular power.'

Once he finished fixing the Fxescythe, he started to walk down the station and reminisce. A smile crept on his face as he passed by all the rooms along the way. The good times, the bad... there was certainly a lot of interesting things that went on down these halls. Certainly better than the most recent two years, that much was certain to him. At this thought the smile disappeared from his face, and he stopped by the window.

'The God of Death...' he recalls the nickname that was given to him in his tenure in the alternate reality that he was trapped in. He stared at his hands, recalling all the lives he had taken. He was originally a very peaceful person, trying his best to do his work while keeping the death toll low. He had no choice but to change his ways in the alternate reality, where war was ever present. He hoped that this change wouldn't be permanent, but what if it was a necessary change? Would he be able to accept it?

He pondered about this, and many other things, as he gazed out a nearby window into the starlit horizon.

Fxeni stared at the figure plastered on the chest of the Fxescythe. All signs of his immense energy levels are gone, and he seems to be stuck where he is.

"Well, I'm certainly not going to leave you on there... you're ruining the style of my Gundam!" Fxeni says with a smirk, turning the Fxescythe back towards the Sex Station.

"DAMN YOU!" Boforte muffled in rage, trying his best to dislodge himself but having no luck.

"Red team, continue to scout the area, the rest of you return to base!" Fxeni orders on the closed comm channel to the Usagi Squadron.

As he approaches the Sex Station, he notices that something is amiss. The windows on the station seem to be opening bit by bit, which is certainly not a normal occurrence.

"Half of you, scan the perimeter of the Sex Station to see if anyone needs help outside! The rest of you, follow me inside and help whoever needs it!" Fxeni orders as he lands the Fxescythe into the Sex Station.

He opens up the cockpit and steps out. Boforte was still stuck in the chest of the Fxescythe, struggling to get free. Fxeni pulls out a device from his belt, and marks the four corners around the spot where Boforte was located. An energy cage forms and pulls Boforte out of the Fxescythe and into it, locking him in place.

"Keep an eye on this one, he's kind of feisty" Fxeni says to some of the Usagi Squadron soldiers as he walks away, pointing at Boforte with his thumb from over his shoulder.

"I'LL DESTROY YOU! YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE HERE!" Boforte yells in anger at Fxeni, who ignores him completely as he rushes off into the station.
