Where they're available doesn't matter. What matters is that someone is getting angry over pokemon. Getting angry over pokemon? Not cool. Noooooooot cool.

Obligatory posting of my pokemans in an Obligatory Pokemon thread.

You can have any move you want, and you take Hyper Beam?

I freaking hate that myself too. It just pisses me off so much the fact that people are forced to have go to a toy-r-us in the US. Unless you really actually live close to one in one of the major cities like phoenix, los angelos, las vegas or new york. :(

But in japan, you dont gotta step foot out of your room or house at all whatsoever because the wifi will connect to the servers automatically without forcing people to  go to specific locations in the country, or to certain stores.....but never like that for america..... i can't help it how infintely mad that concept makes me. NOT in a way that "only the japanese are allowed cause it's closer or something" ..i just mean i think it's totally 100% unfair with the US's rules.

That gets you angry.

Having to go out instead of being able to obtain a pokemon without leaving your house gets you angry.

You get angry over that.

Just... just think about this.

I don't really see the point in playing if you're gonna spam save states. Just find a playthrough on youtube or something, that way you won't have to fiddle around loading and saving all the time. It's not like you're going to be really playing the game either way.

In my opinion, I'm pissed. The title change is too 'friendly' and 'cute' sounding.

You're angry.

Because they changed the name.

srsly man

X / Re: X9: Will it ever be?
« on: March 15, 2009, 01:06:40 PM »
Can't say I find most of his points too valid. Some new characters that did nothing but talk in cutscenes sometimes were in X8, holy [parasitic bomb], how terrible. IHX "ravaged" the plot (wat), obviously we must save the masterpiece that is the story of Rockman X from further damage by not allowing it to finish!
His complaint about Axl is kinda legitimate, but there's nothing stopping the devs just making him an optional character, and I can't see how having a choice between three characters is that much worse than having a choice between two. You could just ignore him for most of X8 with no problems, no reason to think X9 would be any different.
The only really important point that X7 and 8 weren't very good games, but there's no reason to think some hypothetical X9 would be like them. They came out like half a decade ago, come on. It's not like Capcom haven't already proven that they don't mind getting back to basics with RM9.

On the plus side, I did get a laugh out of him complaining about Zero wasn't getting enough character development, but then refusing to allow women to interact with him anymore. I guess seeing how Zero would act in a relationship after losing someone important to him wouldn't be interesting enough? Maybe he should just sit around being depressed, we didn't get enough of that from X7.

I will admit that I don't really give a [tornado fang] about the story of the game as long as it gives me a semi legitimate reason to kill some robots, though. Maybe his reasons would make more sense to someone who cared about that sorta stuff. I dunno.

Yes, but in the NTSC version, he is voice acted by a female, which kinda misleads you into thinking he is a she.

Doesn't seem like it misled anyone else...

Yeah but anyway the point is that Caro sucks and they should get rid of her to make room for characters that are actually interesting. The other point is that my opinion is the only opinion that matters.

Who's gonna waste time abusing animals in games when there are perfectly good humans to abuse instead?

Does that mean as soon as Caro realises her power they're going to relegate her to the sidelines like Hayate?

Man. At least Hayate got to do something before she started getting ignored.

« on: March 07, 2009, 12:50:21 AM »
DnD is fun because you get to make your own character and then adventure with them in a completely different world, and you can do whatever you want. Imagine a JRPG in which you can say anything and do anything and in which the world will constantly update itself based on your actions. DnD's a lot like a video game, just with all the restrictions removed, because your DM can and will make up new things on the fly to accommodate you. (Unless they suck at being a DM. Which actually isn't that uncommon. Uh oh.)

40K is fun because you get to completely customise and build your own army, and then go and beat up other people's armies with it. It's fun in the same way that building a team in Pokemon and then battling with it is. The execution's obviously a lot different (Your guys can move, nearly every unit is active at the same time, a lot more random chance, and so on), but the reason why it's enjoyable is pretty similar. Y'know, battle of minds, that sorta stuff. Oh, and painting stuff. Customising and painting your minis so they look exactly how you want is pretty important too.

Of course, both of them can suck horribly if you're playing with the wrong people, and they might just not be your thing in the first place. But I doubt anyone thinks that one game can please the whole world.

Thoughts...

Was there ever a girl in an anime that you loved so much-- a profound and deeply felt love that extended beyond basest sexuality into a restless attraction whereby the only way you could get a good night's sleep is to imagine oneself lying next to her? I am not simply referring to a girl that is cute or adorable, not that those aren't wonderful traits, but such things would be too superficial for the sublimity of emotion one would have locking eyes with her for the first time; a feeling that can only be likened to the chill one has when being stalked by an unknown predator or the shivering sensation of listening to a particularly engaging music piece. She would be no ordinary girl, her presence would engage all of your emotional faculties at once, muddling up the higher functions of your brain save one coherent train of thought-- that this girl, descended from heaven, borne from an unearthly place, was mine, mine, all mine; that my love for her would be matched in equal with her love for me and from this boundless cycle would we find unending happiness locked in each other arms like the radiant sun and vivid earth in their everlasting cosmic dance. This girl would be so beautiful and perfect that the mere thought of cuddling her would make you weep quiet, manly tears.

I have found this girl and her name is Fujibayashi Kyou. Every morning I wake up with a deep sigh knowing she is not asleep next to me, that my pitiful midnight delusions could not carry over to my morning reverie. This profound sadness carries over into the monotony of the day, whether it be sitting in lecture, eating lunch, socializing like a normal human being; regarding all the smiling faces envious knowing that they'll all have something I will never have, a love to call their own. I hasten to anger when I am reminded of my despondent state, a rage that consumes my daily being, engaging all of my emotional faculties at once save one single coherent thought amidst all the noise, that I would be alone, all alone for the rest of my life. This single thought, resting in the back of my head, makes me think of a comet descending from the heavens burning into nothingness in the atmosphere, claiming its pyrrhic victory against the mighty earth, knowing full well that it, like many other comets, will pass away without ever touching the ground, without ever making its mark upon the world. This thought of all those comets burning daily in our atmosphere makes me weep a single tear, brushed aside as I post on this webpage.

Subaru is the love of my life.

No girl could ever be as cool and sexy as my precious Subaru. Every day I sit and watch Nanoha StrikerS for hours on end, when she gets hurt in battle I hurt myself, when she cries I cry too, and when she smiles I reach over and touch the cold screen in the desperate hope that one day I might be able to fall through the monitor and we can be together. People say that my Subaru is gay but I know that's not true, I'm sure that we could be so happy together, we'd go for walks in the countryside, I'd buy her nice clothes to wear and I'd treat her like the princess she truly is. One day she'll tearfully tell me about her tragic background and I'll gently wipe the tears from her soft cheeks and then tenderly kiss her quivering lips. She'll wrap her arms tightly around me and I'll bask in her warmth knowing that I've finally found true happiness.
Until then I'll continue my daily ritual, hour upon hour in front of the screen as my body slowly withers, crumbles and then turns to dust. I'm waiting for you my love, please come and save me soon.
