Making sense isn't really that important to me when it comes to video games. Not that it's really a matter of making sense, anyway, it's more being thematically appropriate. Given a choice between a name being thematically appropriate or sounding good, I'm gonna take the one that sounds good.

You like the name Aeolus less than you like the name Bifrost?

Bifrost is a way cooler name than Aeolus! The Aeo part of Aeolus sounds terrible. Terrible terrible.

ZXA's movies are 11.6 MB (3.4 MB of that is Aile)
ZX's movies are 7.86 MB

Total streamed content (voices, movies, sfx) for both games is a little under 30 MB each.  Both games used a 64 MB cartridge.

To be fair, it's not like they could really have done anything about the quality. Though I do kinda wonder how much space the cutscenes take up. Not like anyone watches them more than once anyway.

Fistleo has a cool voice. I like his voice.

I dunno, I can't really get excited over what seems to me to be just a generic high pitched Japanese girl. Even if she does sometimes change to be a lower pitched Japanese girl.


Prairie's nice too. I like listening to her trying to pronounce area names.

I'm trying to remember a recent Rockman game with worthwhile sidequests, nothing comes to mind. At least Advent was nice with its occasional cameos.

Hey, Advent had that one mission which got you the erase chip. That chip's pretty awesome.

My prediction got my flygon killed when I thought you were gonna switch out lanturn. I coulda earthquaked and gotten the kill, but I thought you were gonna switch in something that'd be immune so I dragon clawed and ICE BEAM TO THE FACE.


PS quick summary of the battle for those that missed tonight's game.

my gengar comes out, his clefable comes out.
he switches out clefable for lanturn while my gengar misses with focus blast.
i switch in flygon and it ignores lanturn's thunderbolt.
i stupidly use dragon claw and get ice beamed to death.
send out lucario and it extremespeeds lanturn to death.
he sends out sandslash so i switch gyarados in, ignoring an earthquake in the process.
i dragon dance while he brings in clefable.
waterfall leaves clefable with like 20% health left and then TOXIC ORB FACADE CRITICAL LOL.
gengar comes out, kills clefable.
gengar sleeps shuckle and then kills it before it can wake up.
gengar kills lopunny before it can move.
gengar kills dodrio before it can move.
gengar kills sandslash before it can move.


Gengar seriously coulda killed his whole team on its own. [parasitic bomb]'s just ridiculous.
