You know I only watched the the adventure s of the 9th and 10th doctors respetively and it was okay however the Doctor himself sometimes grate me. Especially the 7th and 9th they seem to come off as the most cruel in my eyes, I don't know the Doctor just seems larger than life to me. Sure, he helps people because he wants to but often times I feel sorry for the poor schmoe who crosses even if they did deserve it except for maybe the Daleks and Davros. He kind comes as a cosmic jerk and self righteous sometimes, he knows essentailly 'everything' but at the same time I fear for those who cross him or become friends with him. Lets face it, what did to the Sontrains and in the Time War was unbelievable.

I may not like that much but at the same time, you expect a more from your heroes. The Doctor is an escapist fantasy and the seires is an escapist show, we don't watch for realism just the Doctor's adventures. After pouring this down I don't know if I should get into the series but what do you think, should I give it a chance?

The music tracks in EXE4 weren't that bad but they weren't fantastic either. Just wished that Cacpom could make the Liberation missions better.

I'll give it a try.

Edit: I decided to give up on theproject, I realize that a large majority of the files I can find on the internet anyway and I have copies of said files that work well (I overcomplicate things  :P).  I still have my favorites intact.  8) Thanks anyway

@OBJECTION MAN

Then I recovered some files for h, it is like some of them work but some of them don't. I wish that I had simply repaired the files a long while ago and not recovering them is more or a hassle now. I have no one but myself to blame either.  -AC Well, I guess if there is something out there that will allow me to reapir files I might be able to find it but I guess I have no use for useless files. I might as well get rid of them althoiugh there are actually very few files I wanted to recover.  Thanks anyway.

EXE / Liberation Missions: How they be better?
« on: May 24, 2011, 06:35:07 PM »
While BN5 was one of the more poorly recevied Mega Man games, it did try to be different in some ways. I did enjoy the concept of the liberation mission, going to panels to clear away the viruses while trying to make it to the boss but the execution was sort of poor. I don't like how you need to do things in a certain amount of time to get rare items. I also hate the actual battles are given a time limit and the abilities of the Navis are rather limited. I hadn't played the much strategy games save for Final Fantasy tactics, Eternal Eyes or Fire Emblem but it looks that there many ways the liberation missions could had been better.

- For one thing, they shouldn't utilize a separate screen for virus battles with a three turn time limit. I like my battles to occur on screen.

- They should expanded on the abilities of Mega Man's allies rather than just have them play similar to Mega man except with charge shots and special that can only be used once. I want to be able to customize those Navis as well, not just the blue hero we play for most of the game.

- I like what they did for the DS version, having you play all the navis at once but it makes wish that they did that in the first place. Also, the areas where the navis were placed in didn't make that much sense to me. What is NumberMan eve doing in Endo city? It seems that he only exists to give Mega Man Number Soul.

I applaud that BN5 tried to do something a little different and granted while they were many things wrong in that game, the Liberation missions I felt could had been expanded upon. What did you think?

I manaeged to address the problem of my hard drive to a media test failure and the problem with the drive itself. I tried changing IDE controllers but I still get a PXE-MOF abd PXE-e61. What should I do?

Edit: nevermind I resolved it already.

Although some of us watch for the cool robot fights and completely miss the point of the series entirely.  8D

Nevertheless Seed did succeed in one thing, it brought Gundam to the new geenration of fnas even if it was in the asinine way possible.

Boring? I guess it's the story that does the trick with these stradegy games.. dunno how they work.  -u-'

I hadn't played that many strategy games myself but MMBN5 could use a better scenario writer or battle designer. The liberation missions sound good on paper but in executiion, it was really lacking. It should gone the route of Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics, they should had given you some Navi units or gave some of the party members some form of customization. I also hate how the Liberation missions leave you with only ample time to complete the area or defeat an enemy. There are lots of ways that game could be improved but Capcom didn't really think things through with Liberation missions.

....  -AC

Not that I have a problem with SEED, it's that sometimes it's moments drag for 3 episodes, but eh. SEED's not my cup o' tea. I don't recall, but was there a Gundam with hot chicks..? Oh wait, the MS-Tans, 'doh. Or I could be completely wrong.. 3D I guess it's because it was not as popular as it's bretheren, and rather obscure. Even when the CG's not specifically SD and more mech. Oh well.

Gundam seed sucks sepcially Destiny.
