I am beginning to grow annoyed at the 'Defeat Means Friendship' trope in shonen and some seinen. I don't know why it is used a lot especially in shonen but I hate this with a passion and it annoys me that hero/heroine always seem to get their way no matter what. Are trying to break the bad guy into submission or what?

Zero / What is the Elpis TK series?

Can someong give mroe information Elpizo and the Elpis series of Reploids? Are they supposed to be government Reploids or what? I always thought that Elpizo was just some Reploid who worked within the governement and held a grudge for being screwed over by the state but after reading some posts on the something called the Elpis TK31, I am inclined to believe it is something more. Can someone tell me what it is?

The thing is figthing games were never really big on plot, it was always just a bunch of people gathered to some tournament in order to win the ultimate prize and defeat the Big Bad SNK Boss that is behind everything in the game who just happens to be the same guy you beat last game or some organization whatever. I will agree with Taiyo on this, they should at least play the game or read the manuals in order to get an idea of the characters even if the plot is convoluted but I really hate that they don't games seriously enough to make a decent move out of it. I know some thingsa may not work on the silver screen but come on, make some effort into making an awesome movie and even if it isn't a part of the games canon, show us that you understand the series enough that you could make your own game series out of it.

At least you have yours, Gamestop has a sale on Memory sticks, some 4GB for like, 20 bucks, plus i need one real bad, the first one I had was lsot in an....accident and now I have to restart my precious Soulcalibur data along with my almost as precious stardust buildup, and Tekken 2 of course, which reminds me to get Tekken 6, so much to do.

Me tyo except I ain't got no money to pay for that and I had a Ruby/Saphhire game on mine, I was just on the verge of getting ym second badge and some [pparasitic bomb] stole my [tornado fang]ing watch, I really hate it when this happens and I am going to find that son of a [flash bomb] one day to beat the liviing [sonic slicer] out of of him.

I had been reading Ero doujins and watching hentai movies for awhile now although I told my dad awhile I wouldn't see porn awhile ago and now he may erase all my files from all my drives. I could backup my computer files but I am still pretty much screwed and my sister ratted me out on this.

Yeah but Classic had more robots to use like Gravity Man or Napalm Man, ZX still pretty much using the four guradians, Zero and X armors with Elementals. The Classic series had a wide variety of elements and powers to work with but we still get the elemental system from the Zero series where after awhile starts to ge pretty boring.
