That brings up the biggest question I have yet to answer about this game: What the F*@#! is the logic behind that snobby store, and the underground hotel punk guy, questioning your trainer's sense of fashion?  My Aislinn is gorgeous, damn you!

For the Botique in Lumiose you simply have to do different things around town - work part time at the hotel, battle at the Battle Institute, take a tour of the museum with the audio guide, have Alexa at the Lumiose Press show you around time, etc. Basically you just do everything around town.

It also opens up other things like new hairstyles, discounts at the shops and so on.

As for the lost hotel guy you need to learn all the roller skate tricks from the people around Lumiose, there's 4 in total. It's not really a big deal though as the punk at the hotel just teaches you a fifth and final roller skating trick.

tl;dr Style =/= Fashion/Appearance

Anyone know if the new movie can be watched online or anywhere else? My stupid Direct TV DVR thing only recorded 30 minutes of the movie. I'm sad, and kind of confused right now because i don't know whether to blame the provider service for the only 30 min recording or what. I was out lunch with family. :(

The dub that aired today? Someone will probably throw up a torrent in a day or two.

So.

Another new feature is the furthering of IV transfer. Previously, when the parent Pokémon had power items attached, it guaranteed the transfer of one of the IVs, while several IVs were guaranteed to pass down. However, as of X & Y, if you have one of the parents hold the Destiny Knot item, then 5 IVs total from either parent will be guaranteed to be transferred

Also keep in mind that Pokemon in the Friend Safari are guaranteed 2 maxed IVs.

I didn't know that, I stopped playing BW2 before I finished Roxie's Gym, she just wiped the floor with me.

Actually it's been that way since Diamond and Pearl, you can catch wild Eevee as one of the daily Pokemon in the Trophy Garden.

So you're not trading me that Bagon then?

Fine, I'll just catch my own then. :P

I can trade you a Shelgon if you want.

...I still might eventually buy X though just to get Mega Charizard X  8D

Or you could just trade the stone off someone.

Ffffffffffff-
Congrats!

How many eggs did that take?

About 2 boxes worth not a lot at all, all things considered.

Is it just me, or is Calem a weak rival?  I've curb-stomped him multiple times now.  I wonder where he found that Absol, though.  I want one...

He is weak. The only real use he has is that you can fight him once a day after Pokemon League making him a relatively decent source of experience.

Last I checked you said it was stupid even for Pikachu.

It is, I'm just saying there is a decent enough reasoning behind it and as long as it's just him I'm okay with it.

So, outside of Pikachu, which Pokemon do you wish had a voice?

None. The voices are an anime only thing and should stay that way, it's stupid as [tornado fang]. I can make an exception for Pikachu seeing he's the mascot and all but that's it.

Anyway is there a way to pick your Kanto Starter and reset to get the desired Nature for them without having to re-fight the Professor again and again? I got a Charmander with Adamant for his Nature which is ATK+/SP.ATK- which isn't great as Charmander is more suited to Special Attacks than Physical ones and this is the Y version which Mega Charizard Y is more Special Attack specialist.

Why bother? Anything works ingame and you can always breed a better one later on, plus you can catch the Kanto starters in the Friend Safari with their hidden abilities which outdates the ones with their normal abilities.

Also is it possible to get more Mega Stones for the same Pokemon? Like two Charizarnite Y Mega Stones?

Without trading one off someone else, no.

Indeed I did. Indeeeeeed I did.

However, I'm glad it's over. I need the rest. Plus I get to play X some more. Siiiiigh, I'm so sorry Charmander, but I went with Squirtle. But I'll get you in Pokemon X...if and when I decide to get that!  8D

Apparently you can catch the Kanto starters inside the Friend Safari and you can buy the Mega Stone later on in the game.

Odd request you guys but, is anyone with Pokemon X willing to trade me any Pokemon holding a Manectricite?

No one is going to trade their one-of-a-kind mega stones away and certainly not for free.

It's nice to know Konami is at least trying with this season to be better than 4Kids.

I don't think that's something they have to try at.
