To be honest, I couldn't even bring myself to finish the first book, let alone read the whole series... But from what I read, I can accurately say this: I can make better pieces of literature in my toilet....It's bad this gave me the urge to read it, isn't it..?
Although I haven't read the whole series, I decided to go spoil myself to see what happens in the later book... And I'm not to happy with what I found.
There's a birth scene that both goes against the laws of nature and the rules that the author herself put into place that vampires can't have babies AND is a whole heaping load of disturbing (SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO CARE. Edward performs a C-section with his teeth). And the fact an 18 year old shape shifter that calls himself a werewolf imprints (i.e. wants to bone) with said freak of nature baby BEFORE SHE'S EVEN BORN. Last but not least what could have been an epic fight turns into a [tornado fang]ing debate. What the hell.
And the whole "mythology ruining" thing didn't fly with me either. Seriously, the backwards vampire in Chibi Vampire (or Karin, if you're really picky with names) is more of a vampire than the sparkly pussified vampires in Twilight are.
well Currently its Roa Perfect Memories, but you get the point.
