I thought it was a pretty good representation of the classic series.  Every adaptation makes a few changes, and you wouldn't even notice them if all you had seen was gameplay footage.

I remember a site that shows speedruns of videogames got an e-mail saying they were illegally sharing the movie "Speed".  Because the filenames of the videos contain the word "speed" as part of "speedrun", get it?  So I think sometimes these agencies aren't checking very carefully to see if the files are actual copyrighted content; they just look for big movie files with certain key words in them and send off warnings automatically.

Even still, maybe I should consider not downloading anything Harry Potter-related for a while...

I find Blaze interesting because she's the only girl in the games who goes around with her crotch exposed, just like Sally from the cartoon.

Eggman's design is probably another effect of erasing the timeline. yknow, one of those kill a butterfly and damage the future radically things.
Oh, I see!  So in the original timeline, Dr. Eggman looked more realistic throughout the entire series, but now with Solaris out of the picture, he's gotten extra fat and cartoony.

I like how the figure in the emblem doesn't look like Sonic.
I think what we're seeing is Sonic's head overlapping the circular part of the emblem, and a couple of rays of light appear to be creating an edge on the circle where there isn't one.  So that's not a hat or someone else's head, it's just where the magical rays happened to be.

Hm, according to that damage spreadsheet I made, Crash Bomber does 4 units to both forms of the Wily Machine, and it is possible to multiply that up to 28.  So all it takes is getting the bomb at the right height while the machine is in the right position to intersect 7 times.  I think it was either that the machine was coming toward you, or that it was about to change direction, but I don't remember exactly.

I swear to god that that pisses me off to o end. to the point that whenever I see other, I write AMERICAN. Because while race should not matter, some folks just wont let it die.
Maybe we need to take note of everyone's "race" so we can spot racial discrimination in the records when it happens.

It's actually the name of the Power-Up Part in X5/X6 that extends your invulnerability time in such a situation.
WAHAHAH!  So not only do they acknowledge the Mercy Invincibility, but they also offer a power-up for it?  Now I want to play X5 and X6 myself, since they sound so ridiculous.

One is the hang-time that allows the exceptionally quick-thumbed for fire an uncharged shot ahead of the spread, thus doing minimal damage to a boss and the Damage Barrier blocking the charged shot.
Is "Damage Barrier" the official term for the Mercy Invincibility that MegaMan and the stage bosses get after each hit?  Or are you referring more to whether other shots pass through or get absorbed by whomever's getting hit?  Or is it how in some games, bosses only get invincibility after a strong enough attack?  I know that in Battle Network, most Navis each have their own "threshold" of attack power where doing over a certain minimum amount of damage to them will stun them for a moment and give them a couple of seconds of invincibility.  (I've been noting those minimum values down for my Battle Network 1 TAS.  In some cases I want to attack just under the threshold so I can keep delivering attacks quickly, and in other cases it's helpful to stun the boss to reset its own attack, or because weaker chips just aren't fast enough anyway.)

Besides, isn't part of the challenge of a minimalist run determining what the minimum requirements actually are?  Yet every time I turn around I'm the one educating the rest of the internet on the fact that, yes, the game is not impossible with unarmored X.

If they didn't invent dashing, then MegaRockMan could have gotten a super-speed slide-jump, where he flips completely over from sliding position to jump with super speed.

I would only like Add if you could increase up to 15, you didn't have to sacrifice chips, AND you didn't go back to 5 after using some.  Otherwise it's just not worth it.
