Hmm...not exactly sure I'd join the Animal Crossing RP....

My mom still has the old DS version, but I'm contemplating continuing from where she and my sister (for a bit) left off, or starting over completely.  I am interested in the New Leaf sequel, but I don't have a 3DS, and I'm sure if they have a regular DS version, it would only work in the DSi, which I also don't have (mostly because they have a region lockout, even though I might still be able to play Ouendan 1 & 2 from what I heard across the net).

Jessie squeals startlingly as she drops the comlink, seeing it slide under one of the consoles that was barely wide enough for her slim arm to fit through.  Muffling a growl, she turns towards her Pokemon, whom she let out of their Pokeballs earlier to act as guards, "Go outside and find out what hit us!  This thing is supposed to be cloaked, and I'd much prefer it to stay that way!"

Her Pokemon salute before bounding off towards the windows to figure out where the crash came from.  Chariot and Synthis grit their teeth as they cram themselves against the corner away from the hallway where the Pokemon obviously would be heading, barely missing being spotted upon their appearance from the bridge doorway.

After seeing her crew disappear from the bridge, Jessie marches over to the console and drops to her hands and knees, digging one hand into the crack under the console and fiddling around to get the comlink back under her possession.

"Either way... We... We need to think of a plan... If worse comes to worse..." Dr. Wily II lightly grabbed his chest.

Inside... Dr. Wily II was wandering around his dreamscape, when pain struck his chest again. Grabbing in pain... "W-what? It... Can't be..." Releasing his grip on his chest, and taking a closer look, everything still looked the same, his glowing red scar was still locked inside its blue Disable barrier. The pain had already disappeared, so he took no heed. However, if one were to focus... There was a hair-line crack in the barrier...

Seeing the 3 disappear, Joe thought it was the perfect chance to report to Domino. "Madam?" Static. Most likely she was engaged with other agents. Thinking back on what the 3 trainers said... The White Skitty... It was definitely related to some Tarot cards that 4 other agents were involved with. Since the mob will be formed soon, might as well add more credit under his name. Though... Where to start?

With no idea in mind, Joe sighed, and made his way back to the Pokemon Center, which already had some people gathering. "Wow, those 3 sure work fast."

Two daunting frets hit Merrick's Tarot Energy as not only was the trainer with the energy of the Magician and Ten of Pentacles heading to the center in search of him and Tarot Skitty, but the Disable attack Mewtwo put on WilyII appears to be wearing off, though in small, hardly noticeable fissures.  He couldn't go to Mewtwo's room, knowing that another mob was outside, raring to rush in and force Nurse Joy to give up Quickie's whereabouts, so his best option was to hide from the other trainer that appeared to be a secret agent from another organization, most likely Team Rocket since he seems to have a much deeper awareness of what Mewtwo is.

Chariot's room still had mustard smothered all over the floor with wet puddles and an abandoned paper towel left behind.  Rushing back to the bottle he left on the floor, it surprisingly had plenty of juice left.  With this in mind, he takes the bottle and bounds carefully into the room, leaping up to the top bunk and ducking below the wooden rails surrounding them as they wait for the trainer to make his way in and search around for their whereabouts.

(Eh, I can wait.  I've only skimmed through Mewtwo Returns, so I barely know enough about Domino to take control of her if necessary)

"Sorry to bother you over something that has nothing to do with Mewtwo, but I've managed to secure the Grand Rhydon from that treacherous brat and her insane scientist claiming to be her 'treasure'," she began, "But you wouldn't happen to know any special code to override these controls and bring it back under Team Rocket's ownership.  If I can retake control of it, I can easily help in corralling that Mewtwo and his hapless little slave out of hiding and back into the proper hands of Team Rocket."

Under Mt. Moon...

"Quit falling behind, witch! I didn't bring you along to have you slow me down but to hasten my rise to glory!" Steiner yelled as he yanked on a chain, pulling a handcuffed figure up some stairs.

The mad scientist had reached an underground cavern that lead to the upper floors of the mountain. For its size, the Superia was no where to be seen. Of course, that meant the cloaking was activated and any one following them would seemingly come to a dead end unless they bumped into the ship. A long flight of rock steps lead to a doorway that lead deeper inside, at the top being Steiner and his captive. His mind was corrupted with constant fear and lust for power, so much that he'd fallen to delusions of grandeur.

"I thought I said to HURRY!" Steiner yelled at his slave and yanked on the chain connected to the figure's neck hard enough to pull them up the remaining stairs. Steiner grabbed at their neck and dragged them in front of him through the corridor.

"When my love gets here and becomes mine to control, you'll lose your purpose. And do you know what I do with things I don't need anymore? Hmmm?" Steiner asked.

He lifted the lantern up to his face and Julia's. Her almost lifeless eyes seemed to dampen the light the lamp gave off. Her mouth was bolted with a slab of steel, screws seemingly drilled into her mouth. She was barely there.

"I dispose of them!" Steiner yells, throwing Julia into the wall. I'll make sure no one misses you. I'll make sure nice and slow. You'll all suffer under my rule! Ahahahaaaa!" He laughed continuing to walk further.

Julia was powerless and too weak to do anything else. There was a yank at the chain that brought her to her knees then to a slow walk.

"Hmmhmhm. Oh Ahrzayl, my sweet, you'll be mine soon enough to do with as I please." He said, disappearing down the hall with Julia in tow.

With the Superia no longer in Steiner's possession, Jessie takes this moment to try and override the controls normally meant for Ahrzyal and her crew.

"For something that's Team Rocket property, there isn't a whole lot that would help reinitialize control back into...'proper hands'...."

She then takes out her comlink, "This is far out of the mission we were given, but this ship is Team Rocket property and I must reclaim control of it so what we can help capture Mewtwo and its unwitting slaves before someone else takes our credit!"

She then punches in Domino's frequency and waits for her to pick up.

Outside the bridge, Chariot, who had managed to scramble his way on board with Synthis, stays camped on the roof, barely avoiding being spotted by the ever insane Steiner and his near hopeless puppet that was once a human being.

He grits his teeth in aggravation, having not realized how crazed Steiner had become since being pulled away from Team Rocket's authority.  Stopping Jessie from doing whatever she was sent to do was the sole reason he ran all the way down here, but now it seems that he can't ignore someone else in even deeper peril than whoever she was originally targeting.

But as he was contemplating what to put first, he suddenly noticed a trio of familiar shadows heading towards them, recognizing them as the cheering trio that had been following Hierophant up until their venture into Fuchsia City.

Ryo stopped upon noticing Chariot almost hidden within the cloaked armory of the Superia, also sensing someone else lurking within with the intention of taking control of it.  Chariot looks between Ryo and the escaping made scientist before turning his attention back to the trio.

"You're here to help that woman being controlled by that mad scientist, right?" he whispered low enough for them to hear.  Seeing them nod, he points to where he last saw them leave, "Go on ahead, I'll try and stop the hussy inside from stealing control of this ship and figure out a way of getting everyone's attention."

The trio nod as they continue after Steiner, keeping as far a distance as possible to avoid being spotted and lumped into whatever sadistic torment would further bring Ahrzyal to her knees in despair, leaving Chariot to sneak towards where he last saw Frillish force open the hatch and jumped inside, waiting for Synthis to follow suit before carefully and quietly closing the hatch and making his way around the interior of the ship in search of the bridge or wherever he can get an available communication line.

Hearing the same news on the TV out in the lobby stops Merrick and Tarot Skitty from cleaning any further messes, realizing that the majority of the city had once again found another reason to complain and storm the Center with the sole, manipulated intent to relieve their city of their biggest upsets.

Bounding back towards the entrance, he can see scattered numbers of trainers making their way to the door with the same intent to barge in there and force Nurse Joy to give up the ghost, but instead of sticking to just that, they had also intended to tear through every room until they uncovered Quickie and Mewtwo's rooms and manhandle them straight towards wherever Team Rocket will spring out and trap them.

Kojiro manages to make it to the back of the Pokemon Center, but was still too dizzy from his unfortunate encounter with the collapsed wall and the moment he got to the window to Quickie's room, he had accidentally caught his foot in the root of a nearby tree and falls back onto his face, momentarily passing out and missing half of what was going on in the room's TV.  Mime Jr. hovers around him, pressing its finger against its cheek before picking up the smartphone and finding the record button, drifting up to the window and putting itself at an angle to where Mewtwo could be seen in the lens, but neither he, nor the other trainers could see the Mime Pokemon.

Seeing the commotion, Nurse Joy rushed over and helped Kojiro out of the rubble.  "I warned you!  The whole area is cordoned off, and we can't use these doors yet.  Are you all right?"

Kojiro stumbled about dizzily as he attempts to fumble with his smartphone.

"I'm...just...peachy....~" he mutters as he attempts to make his way towards the back of the Pokemon Center, still swaying about like a drunken haggard.

So the 3 trainers are a bit overzealous... But Joe had them. "Back to the main task... I require the three of you to help me gather some help, and then with our numbers, we will force Mewtwo and that girl onto Route 18, out in the open. My associates will be there to take over."

The three saluted almost quickly.

"Sir, yessir!"

Then split into three different directions away from the Pokemon Center to spread what they had just learned.

Reaching Chariot's room, Tarot Skitty jumped into the edge of the bucket and dips the paper towel into the surprisingly clean water and drops it into the puddle of mustard bleeding through both sides of the entrance, then uses its tail to push the paper towel around to try and sop up as much of the mustard as it could hold.  Once the paper towel became too cluttered with mustard, Merrick took it back to the bathroom to get another sheet to repeat the process.

Kojiro turns his head to look towards Nurse Joy, but before he could register what she meant, his hand had already pushed the doors apart, causing the beams near the walls to cave in on him, barely burying his waist and leaving him face down on the dusty porch.  Mime Jr., who barely avoided the cave in, lands near Kojiro's head while poking it with innocent curiosity plastered on its face.

"Mime...?"

Having been through worse pain, Kojiro could muster nothing more than a muttering groan.

"Curse...that...Mewtwo...."

Joe smirked in his head. Hook, line and sinker. "Yes... Stolen by one trainer... An female trainer... THIS TRAINER!" Joe pressed a button on his Dex, and out comes a photo of Quickie.

Seeing the photo causes the trio to gasp even louder.

"The fiend!" the first shouts, "How dare she keep such a powerful Pokemon!"

"That Pokemon belongs to a more deserving trainer!" the second proclaims, "One that knows how to handle powerful Pokemon and never leave them out of their sights!"

"This trainer will rue the day she shuck into wherever that Pokemon came from and stole it right out from under the rightful trainers' noses!" vows the third.

Joe smirked before he turned around to face the three again. "Now then, what I'm about to tell you is classified... You see... That Mewtwo... Was actually stolen." Joe paused for a bit to let the severity of his words sink in.

Gasp horror were the general response to the less knowledgeable, more victory-savvy trio.

"Stolen!?  By who!?" the first of the trio seethed, obviously enraged by the news.

Tarot Skitty eventually makes it back to the Pokemon Center through the redirected side entrance thankfully on the other side of where Joe and his brawn-for-brains lackey were standing.  Now that they were out of danger for the time being, Merrick decides to try and figure out how to clean up the mess he made to Chariot's rented room.  He attempts to get a wet paper towel from the bathroom, but as Tarot Skitty uses its small, near lightweight body to push it open, he quickly finds that dragging a wet paper towel back to the room without leaving a wet mess for unsuspecting trainers to slip on was going to be more work than its worth, and he didn't want to enact Tarotmorphosis too soon with those trainers within eyesight of the bright glow.

Looking back outside, Merrick notices that Nurse Joy has left the mop and bucket near the desk.  Thinking it was his best chance of cleaning up the mess before the same incident happens to another unsuspecting trainer, he leaps up to the towel dispenser and grabs a sheet before running back outside and pushing the bucket towards the room with the crown of Tarot Skitty's head, being careful not to bump it into any lively souls that walk by.

Kojiro pokes his head back out, having heard the commotion near the Pokemon Center, but with no raving trainer rushing in to deal undeserving punishment on Mewtwo and its trainer, he assumed Mewtwo must have used his mind trick to possess them into forgetting everything they had heard.

"So powerful...." he mutters, "I almost forgot what he did to Team Rocket the last time I saw it happen...."

He contemplates radioing in Domino of this discovery, but is quickly mortified by the sudden movement of a cleaning bucket rolling past the room, not realizing that Tarot Skitty was the one responsible for pushing it past his room.  He quickly shuts the door and slams his back against it, spreading his arms out as he eyes around the room.

"Does it know!?  Is it going to do me in with its psychic powers...?" he mutters nervously, "What am I saying, of course he would know!  Psychic types know everything!"

"Mime...?" Mime Jr. inquisits while cocking its head to the side.

Kojiro pumps his unequipped hand in determination, "Right then!  I'll just figure out a way to gather more evidence of Mewtwo's treachery and indecent ways to dominate mankind!"

Mime Jr. appears beside him and mimics his fist pumping gesture before the two open the door and springs back towards the other end of the wall, sliding back towards Quickie's room only to notice that it had been closed tight.

"Curses...nothing less from the devious psychic experiment...." he seethed irritably, "We'll have to figure some other way of gathering evidence without being spotted."

He then points towards the original exit of the Pokemon Center, "And the only way to make that happen is to leave the center and seek out the window to its room!  Every room has to have a window we can peek through and spy on whatever Mewtwo schemes to do with his untapped powers!"

Kojiro then begins to march towards the exit, completely unaware of the unstable walls and frames that were the cause of trainers having to be redirected to its side entrance.

The trio, incompetent as displayed, quickly sprang to their feet, straight as a soldier and saluting Joe's presence.

"Our apologies, sir!"

"We'll cooperate, we promise!"

"Anything to help the officers of the law!"

Merrick felt the need to facepalm through Tarot Skitty, but felt that he was lingering near the entrance too long and starts make his way back towards the Pokemon Center, sensing their focus too squarely on Mewtwo to worry about the odd presence of a white Skitty with a card on its back.

The trio eventually fought themselves to near exhaustion and tumbled to the floor with near laboring pants.  One of them looks towards Joe upon hearing him mention Mewtwo being incapable of using Transform.

"Then maybe you can tell us what the deal is with that white Skitty, because their Shiny form is nowhere close to what we saw when it ran us for a loop in the center!"

"Not to mention that Skitty doesn't have a half crescent-shaped mark on its forehead!" another pants.

"And now that I think about it, how in the world did it go trouncing around the center without dropping that strange-looking card on its back!?" the third gasps.

"We were!" one of the trainers exclaims, "But then we saw Mewtwo zip passed us, transformed into a white Skitty!"

"I heard Mews are supposed to know Transform, but that Mewtwo obviously doesn't know how to properly use that ability!" another said, "It stuck out like a sore thumb, and had the galls to go running around the Center like it belonged there!"

"We were going to use our Pokemon to capture it since it's in the form of such a weak, useless Pokemon," the third said before jutting his thumb towards the other two, "But these two kept fighting over getting their hand on it and claiming it for their own!"

"Us!?  You were no less greedy for that thing than we are!" the first shouts again.

"Yeah, if it weren't for you, that Pokemon would have been mine to tame and control as I see fit!"

"What was that!?"

The trio began fighting again, all completely unaware of Tarot Skitty poking its head out of the doors to the Pal Park lobby, pondering whether it should keep going or wait to see how long it would take for the group to lose interest and move on.

As Joe was nearing Pokemon Center, Tarot Skitty leaped out of the cafeteria window with six arms jutting out, three of them tossing out Pokeballs that unleashed powerful Pokemon.

"Get that Pokemon!" one of them shouts, "Don't slow down for a second or it'll find the opportunity to transform and escape your sights!"

"Out of the way!" the second shouts, "That Pokemon belongs to me!"

"I saw it first!  It's mine!"

The three trainers' arguing and pushing quickly dwindled down to their Pokemon who, out of confusion and loyalty to their trainers, began fighting among themselves for the same honor.  Merrick compressed his lips, inadvertently transferring it to Tarot Skitty, before bolting back towards Pal Park in the hopes of hiding in the field and waiting until the whole situation calms down.

Merrick stayed ducked behind the wall near the sliding doors, watching as Janine tried to get control of the short-knowledge crowd as they were rallied into blind justice most likely be the same trainer that had the energy of the Magician and Ten of Pentacles.

Seeing her trying to quell the crowd, he felt no need to get involved, but no sooner had he attempted to sigh with relief, there was a sudden crash on the door as the three trainers charged into the lobby and spotted Tarot Skitty standing near the entrance.

"There it is!" one shouts.

"Get it!"

"Ah, come on...." Merrick almost mutters aloud as he makes a run for the cafeteria in the hopes of losing the more tenaciously idiotic trainers.

Seeing the energy of the Tower crash on top of the three trainers, Merrick bounces off the mustard bottle and starts trotting back towards the lobby, wanting to keep a look out for any more trainers duped by the stretched rumor that might come charging in, looking to give Quickie more than a piece of their mind.

Tarot Skitty poked its head out of the cafeteria entrance, seeing the door to Chariot's room rattling as the trainers fought over themselves to get it open.

"Move it, I want that Pokemon!"

"You!  You were the one who said you didn't want to go anywhere near it!"

"Not if I keep chasing it around in its transformed state!"

"The longer you two keep fighting, the faster that Pokemon is going to take on a new form and flee this city to terrorize another one!"

Merrick turns Tarots Skitty back towards the interior of the cafeteria, seeing a bunch of condiments near the salad bar.  He quickly grabs the mustard and runs back towards Chariot's room, shoving the nozzle under the crack and bouncing on top of it, causing a gushing noise that soon created more crashing and thudding.

I really shouldn't be doing this, but it's the only possible way to keep them distracted from getting any closer to Mewtwo.... Merrick sighs, though no one would see it coming out of Tarot Skitty's always grinning snout.

As everyone was pondering this, Tarot Skitty zoomed by Mewtwo's room with the three trainers that were haggling Nurse Joy for answers chasing after it.

"You think you can trick us with your transformation spell!?" one of them shouts.

"You made a big mistake trying to sneak back in here after what you've done with your powerful explosions and psychic powers!" Another exclaimed.

I'd claim otherwise, but I have yet to fully understand the difference between Mewtwo and his original counterpart Merrick thinks to himself as Tarot Skitty rounds the corner and into Chariot's room.

The three trainers were not far behind, and after some crashing and banging, Tarot Skitty eventually jumps out and slams the door shut with its tail before bounding off towards the cafeteria as Merrick knew it didn't have the dexterity to lock the door on the way out.

Reaching the Pokemon Center, Merrick wastes no time taking Tarot Skitty inside, all but disregarding any trainers that might see it, including the three that were attempting to confront Nurse Joy at the desk.  But he soon stops near the hallway and ducks behind the corner, remembering that Kojiro is still nearby, recording everything that was happening, though with the increase in trainers, he was starting to sink further back into his room to try and become less noticeable and targeted as a spy.

He now had two options for dealing with the inevitable conflict; he could stay on Tarot Skitty's back and use the default Blue Magic abilities that were left behind during the unfortunate accident that resulted in its current form, or he can insert his card into its mouth and activate its Tarotmorphosis abilities, taking on his form and increased White Magic powers.  Either way, they were going to be noticed and dragged into the fiasco with Team Rocket being wise enough to snatch them during the rising dust cloud and drag them back to their base to be experimented on and turned into weapons for their own greedy purposes.

Merrick could head to Mewtwo's room and help him recover, but with the three trainers looking about for any suspicious, strange-looking Pokemon, they could easily spot him and give chase, eventually stumbling upon the room and start a fight that could only upset and provoke Mewtwo to unleash more powerful attacks that will end up working against his innocence.  Then he realized he left the door to Chariot's room open and contemplated using it as a means of trapping the trainer until Mewtwo has regained enough strength to beat a hasty retreat before the rest of the city comes bearing down on him with their own variation of pitchforks and torches.

With this in mind, he starts making a break for Chariot's room, looking towards the three trainers to see if they've noticed him and schemed to give chase.

Merrick waits until the two nearby trainers were far from earshot before attempting to make his way back to the lobby, realizing now that none of the trainers in Pal Park were going to be too busy hunting conserved Pokemon to pay attention to anything going on in the rest of the city.

Unfortunately, upon getting back into the lobby, he noticed one of the overhanging TVs displaying the news report of a sketch almost detailing every part of Mewtwo's appearance.  As he was thinking back to the Pokemon Center were Mewtwo is, he realized that the three trainers the Magician-conscious trainer had confronted were now marching towards there, all bearing eight wands raring to strike upon whoever was responsible for allowing him to unleash his powerful Disable attack.

It now became pointless finding trainers to counter the stretched rumors, knowing that it would only escalate into a fight no one wanted to clean up.  His only choice was to get back to the Pokemon Center and help protect Mewtwo should the trainers attempt to attack him before confronting Quickie.  With this in mind, he has Tarot Skitty make a bad dash back towards the Center in the hopes of finding out what's going on and where he should be standing to ensure no one gets near the room he was currently resting in.

Seeing the two trainers lurk about with nothing but catching Pokemon on the mind, Merrick began having second thoughts of using Pal Park as a means of countering the factual rumors the Magician conscious trainer was stretching.

Well....  If it's any consolation, the trainers here are at least too distracted with what they paid for to bother with the fiasco back in the city.... he thinks to himself while inadvertently causing Tarot Skitty to compress its always grinning snout.

He decides to duck low so the two trainers would wander by without spotting the oddly white Skitty and attempt to catch it.

He's with Hierophant, Danny and Excalibur, looking for the clones that were with Mewtwo up until Mt. Quena.  I'm still in the midst of figuring out how to go from there, but one of them is Carr coming back with some more abilities he forced the Fool card to copy, one of which may be a Transform ability he'll use to turn into Mewtwo and trick half the clones into following him and further creating problems with Team Rocket and the city if he ever decides to go back there to get the original Mewtwo.

But unless someone else is going to get involved in this, the situations leading up to whenever I find the time to bring it up will probably just be filler.

And if it wasn't for the fact Merrick is taking Tarot Skitty to Pal Park to try and convince other trainers and citizens NOT to believe the rumors Joe is intentionally stretching, they'd probably accompany her (Though having a white Skitty wander around may attract some unnecessary attention from more than just the undercover Team Rocket agents.

Seeing what was going on here only confirmed Merrick's fret; that when one person stretches a rumor based on sight alone, the entire city will eventually take it as fact and act on it like a one-sided witch hunt.

He could try countering those rumors by going to another part of the city and convincing them that Mewtwo isn't as dangerous as his powers are, but with the Superia the only evidence that debunked him as the cause of both the hole and the increased tremors, there was no way he could get even one civilian Pokemon lover to take into consideration Mewtwo's true personality.

But, as he had told WilyII during his time conversing with his unconscious soul, it won't work unless he at least tries.

Taking this into consideration, Merrick takes Tarot Skitty towards another part of the city to see if he can try to find someone who hasn't been immersed in these stretched rumors and talk them out of blaming Mewtwo for the entire fiasco.
