Ryuta stayed before Mewtwo, putting a slight distance between his hands and the humanly Pokemon's head and chest.  He used his spiritual energy to follow after his psychic link and get a sensation on the Charizard he connected with.

It was obvious Charizardtwo was getting impatient.  There was no sign of Mewtwo's creator, though he can see Meowth wander about from Pokeball to Pokeball, pondering when they were going to let the clones out.

He clearly wasn't comfortable being here, worried that the Insitute were going to get distracted and start running experiments on how he was able to verbally speak the human language, but at the same time he seems to suspect there may be human Digletts lurking about, wanting to do more than just compare DNA and study the difference between the clones and their original counterparts.  He knew Team Rocket will be going out of their way to make sure Mewtwo is returned to them, but he can't figure out what tricks they might use beyond their already overblown assumption that he brainwashes humans into becoming his slaves.

(Might as well post an update on bitchy Jenny while Dr. Wily II wants for his verdict. )

After the Stun Spore situation has past, a few officers noticed a slumped figure at the end of the interrogation hallway. Rushing over, they found it was Officer Jenny. Trying to wake her up proved futile, and they noticed that her uniform had a very thin layer of Stun Spore. Panicking, they radioed for backup, and emergency transport towards the hospital. On her face, a crooked grin was frozen in place.

Hierophant pokes his head out of the room after hearing talk that the Stun Spore had cleared out, noticing some officials taking one of the Jennys to the emergency room.  He should be focusing on getting Tarot Skitty back, but knows that he can't leave the station without consent.  Trusting that someone else will stop James and return Tarot Skitty, he looks towards the floor where the Fool card laid, looking back towards him with his furrowed, beady eyes pondering what they were going to do to him now.

Feeling that the station needed proof that Carr was using the Fool card's move-copying abilities to cause harm along the way, Hierophant picks him up and begins following after the officers, trusting that Excalibur and Genbu can take care of themselves when he gets back.

"Don't worry, Yan-Yan," he said along the way, "I'm sure the other Jenny and Quickie will figure out a way to make sure you're not persecuted in the same manner as Mewtwo."

Yan-Yan moans a cat-like moan, but feels he needs to trust Hierophant's word and stay calm for the time being.

"Take it slow," Ryuta said, placing his hands back on Mewtwo's head and chest while using his tranquil energy to calm him down some, "Just remember the energy of the connection you established and reconnect with it once you've regained your senses.  Don't strain yourself too much or you might rupture something and further complicate yourself and the case against you."

Ryuta compresses his lips some, "That crass Officer Jenny could just be jerking your emotions, but I'd be no different if I didn't mention they might be doing more than extract DNA samples to compare with the Pokemon they were cloned after.  Before I say anything else, I just want you to know that they are pure theories and rumors and not to be taken seriously, so take a moment to think about it and, if permissible by the guards, peer into the institute to see what you might be up against before lashing out and suffering another round of 'shock therapy'."

Ryuta took a moment to let this sink in, "Team Rocket could try to use his presence with the clones against you, but if your trainer is smart enough, she should be able to figure out a way to prevent them from using this knowledge to their advantage."

Something else seems to be bothering him as he took a quick peak at the head of Team Rocket, sensing his confidence in something that would guarantee full access and control over Mewtwo.  Thinking it was some experimental tool that would eventually fail or be docked as cruelty during the control test, he decides not to bring it up unless Mewtwo senses his concern and chooses to ask.


"According to Lexi Shank, it was Mewtwo's creation, so only he can open it," Jenny said, "Unfortunately, that would mean he would create it so that only he can comprehend, and work with it, which means it could jeopardize the case if we were to take it straight to him to access and translate."

Outside the garage, the giant dragon ship starts to make its descent into the near unnoticeable heart of the Junkyard.

Several Berbils went to work refueling the dragon ship while some accompanied Hajime and Atsushi in heading into one of the cave-like piles of scrap to dig out more supplies to take on board and offer to the heroes who most likely need it most.

Back at the ship, Ittetsu and Hierophant observe another incident in the Second Municipal Bank, pondering if they should send some more help to keep an eye on Py-Loki from a closer viewpoint.

"I wonder of Chariot's master is busy," Hierophant mutters, "His age could help him blend in as he keeps an eye on everything until he feels the need to jump in."

"You seem to know more about your homeland than the rest of us," Ittetsu said, "And since we're dealing with a fox that looks medieval, this is almost screaming their involvement."

"Yeah...I suppose you're right.  We haven't seen anyone sporting Thor's abilities show up, and I know Amy's screaming to get involved...."

He pauses a moment while rubbing his forehead at the inner ramblings of his unfortunate sidekick, "...literally...."

He then gets up, "I'll see if I can find someone could help the others."

Itettsu nods before continuing to monitor the situation between both banks.

(Desperation time!!! )

So much pain....  So much pent up energy storing into his systems.  Just as James was passing out from the strenuous ordeal, his instincts began to get the best of him as he lets out one last yell, sending a dome of raw energy flying out of him to knock every Pokemon but Yamask far away from him while almost burning them with its very brightness.

This unfortunately, only seemed to distract everyone long enough for Yamask to fly over, grab Tarot Skitty and lift it towards James, causing it's eyes to emit a scanning-like light before opening its mouth and yowling, causing Danny to fly out from under his shirt and back into his deck.

With the opposing energy no longer circulating the downed faux-officer, Yamask uses the Hanged Man card to fling James high into the air and fly away, attempting to drag him with it.

The guards in the holding cell made sure that the door was closed and Mewtwo was still crouched in the corner.  He looked to Ryuta, then to the guards. "Are my clones safe?  They were protected from the Stun Spores, correct?"

"Don't worry," Ryuta said, "It seems the officers that were escorting your creator and the clones in mistook your unrelated friend for one of them and is holding him in confinement.  If they haven't been placed far from the Stun Spore's range, he should be alert enough to shut the door before a single particle could get in.  Now we just need to worry about what Team Rocket's going to do once they find out one of their Pokemon is among the 'evidence'."

James yelps as he falls flat onto his face.  But no sooner had Misty landed on top of him, her body suddenly floats off the ground with no sign of being caught in a Psychic or Confusion attack.  She barely manages to see Yamask pointing his curly hands towards her before flinging them towards Officer Jenny as she was running after him, knocking them to the floor, though not hard enough to knock them out.

Having remembered what happened with the Skarmory, and that opposing cards can't touch or use their own abilities on each other, James reaches into his pocket and throws out one of his Pokeballs.

"Amoonguss!  Stun Spore!"

Upon release, Amoonguss points its stools towards Jenny and Misty and unleashed a cloud of pollen at them.

"Inside!  Everyone inside!" Jenny calls out as she pulls Misty into a nearby bathroom and shuts the door to block out most of the spores.  She then grabs her radio and speaks into it.

"Stun Spore emergency!  Anyone occupying rooms within a 50yrd radious of the entrance close their doors immediately!  I repeat, Stun Spore Emergency!  Anyone occupying the rooms within a 50yrd radius of the station entrance shut their doors immediately!  All officers make your way to the entrance and stop the officer that is causing these calamities!  He has blue hair and is accompanied by a Yamask that has one of the cards that could be integral to the case concerning Mewtwo and his trainer!"

Hierophant sees the pollinating cloud spread through the hallways, heading towards both WilyII's interrogation room and his own.  He quickly runs over to WilyII's room and slams the door before running back inside his own room and throwing the door shut.

With everyone fleeing towards the nearest unlocked door they could open, James quickly calls back Amoonguss and flees out the entrance, prompting Yamask to follow after him.

Unfortunately, James was too occupied outrunning and shooting guards with his energy attacks to notice the psychic link.

One of the officers managed to snag his afro and rip it clean off his head, revealing his blue hair, but by this point he no longer cared if the rest of the station saw him as whoever ratted him out would have already done the job for him.  Not to mention....

The moment the officer grasped the wig, he was suddenly thrown towards the good Jenny, startling her to the side with the now ripped hairstyle clenched in his hands.  Yamask pulled its curled hands back before bolting off after its respected trainer only to be cornered in a forked hallway, each occupied by another officer with tazers at the ready.

"Don't make us use this!" one of them shouts.

"They're supposed to be used on that Mewtwo if it tried to escape, but if you don't cooperate and surrender, you're going to make us waste the batteries on these!" another shouts.

James cringes at the thought of provoking their threats, but at the same time he couldn't just flee the place without some kind of contribution to give back to Giovanni.

"Go ahead and try!" he snarks, "I've dealt with electricity stronger than those piddly static globes!"

"Why you...!" one of the officers seethed before firing off his round.

"No!  Stop!" Jenny calls out while running towards the scene, "He might have-!"

Her warning, unfortunately, comes too late as the wires land on James' chest and unleash a disabling level of electricty through his body.  In reaction, the rest of the officers fired off their rounds, making the sensation worse.

James stood in his spot, shaking violently with each surge that pulses through his systems until an unwilling urge to shoot it back prompts him to do so, unleashing a massive dome of electricity that shocked every officer caught in its passing wave.

As the dome starts to head towards Jenny, Hierophant bounds in front of her and points at the oncoming threat.

"Protective Mist!"

A Water Rune appeared on the back of his outstretched hand, causing a flurry of crystals to slam down around him and Jenny and split the dome in half, protecting both from their near inevitable fate.

With everyone around him twitching in stunned pain, and the station exit now within reach, James makes a mad dash towards it with Yamask hurrying behind him.


Back with Mewtwo, Ryuta can sense the fiasco going on and the lack of response to Mewtwo's call.  Feeling that his familiarity with this troublesome soul would only make him less cooperative, he attempts to pull Mewtwo away from the window.

"Let him go," he suggested, "Whoever you're calling out to appears to have more problems with the law than you might think.  It's best that you don't get him caught up in this situation, otherwise it might work against your friend's case."

Spider-Blues teleported outside the bank. "Spider's log, stardate 45WHOA!" he said while dodging a chair suddenly being thrown at his head. He started webbing people up in order to get them to stop fighting one another.

"I've encountered a rabid group of beings called 'Hu-maaans' in front of what appears to be some sort of cash depository." he said while acrobatically jumping around, webbing people to the floor, and dodging fists & other things being thrown at him. "Their strange behavior is possibly some sort of mating ritual. Fascinating"  Blues stated after finishing webbing the people up.

"If you'llllllll....excusemeImust find. the. Fox. Boy. responsibleforallofthis. Spider-Bluesout!" he quipped in a Shatner-esque voice while thwipping a web line up to a building and heading for the other reported sighting at the Second National Bank.

Did he just...?

"Yes...." Hierophant answered Justice's discombobulated question while almost slumping in the command chair, trying hard not to lose his lighthearted composure, the effort lacking due to a twitching eyebrow and quivering right corner of his lip, "Next chance we get...we might want to suggest redesigning the structure of the teleportation room so it would look less...trekky...."

And Chariot is just standing in the background, trying to figure out what he should be doing that won't get Hajime into any deeper trouble than he's already gotten himself into. I'd say the same for Hierophant and Death, but they're still focused on Emperor's well being, so they don't count....

Mewtwo nodded slowly, as by broadcasting his telepathy throughout the station, he hoped that it would alert the other officers to Jenny's threats.  He isolated it to the room once more, working to regain his composure. "When I had created them... it was during a particularly tumultuous time.  I was not of a sound mind when I had created them.  However, I had given them life, and they became my responsibility.  They were brought into this world due to my actions, and my irrational behavior... and now my actions and irrational behavior are threatening to take them out...  They should not be forced to suffer.  They had done nothing wrong."

"If you can just tell that to a less stressed and bias official working the case, they should be able to work something out that won't result in your clones being released in testing tubes," Ryuta said, looking outside, "The other Jenny that called me should be stopping by soon to get her take on the situation.  Hopefully she won't have to fight with her sister over who has the right mind and observation."


Jenny looks between her out-cold sister and James as several officers ran to the scene after hearing the commotion.

"Hey!  That's the guy with the afro!  The one the members of the Pokemon Institute claimed is an impostor!" one of them shouts.

Jenny frowns as she points towards James, "Search him!  He was in the room with the young priest when I last came by!"

James whips his head around in a panic, seeing the officers moving in to do as told.  Without thinking, he threw his hands behind him, forming another ball of energy between his hovering fists.

Before Jenny could figure out what he was doing, Hierophant jumps out of the room and charges towards her, having seen the energy charging from where he sat.

"Officer!  Get inside!" he shouts before pouncing her into WilyII's interrogation room.

No sooner had the two fallen a beam of energy blasts through the room, knocking two officers to the ground.

The two sat up and looked outside, seeing the remaining three officers stumble back in surprise.

"Is this another tarot card!?" she almost yelps.

James grits his teeth before bolting down the hallway he shot his energy attack from, accidentally leaving Yamask out in the open with the Hanged Man card still on its mask and the Fool card still in its hand.  The Spirit Pokemon panics before tossing the Fool card into the air and fleeing after its trainer, diving back into its hair before they could register the inclusion.

Ryuta seethed a sigh as he lets go of Mewtwo's head and chest and flops back to his usual sitting position on his knees.

"I know this is hard for you," Ryuta said, "And I don't want to keep repeating myself to the point of making you turn on me in the same manner.  But you need to calm down and put intellect before rationality.  There's more than one Jenny running this station, and I'm certain that the one who called me here by request of your friend will stop by at some point and listen to your story in a less bias manner than her obtuse sister, and perhaps figure out a way to make sure your clones aren't given the unjustified treatment she had been threatening since she came in here and announced their existence."

Ryuta marched over and pulled Mewtwo away from the guards, clamping one hand on his head and the other on his chest, using his tranquil energy to wash away the anguish and anger that was clouding his judgment.

Normally he would have handled this with a shout, but in this situation, the noise would just provoke the guards to attack him as well.  Instead he stays as sternly calm as possible so Mewtwo would at least understand that he was doing this as the least hurtful way to regain his usual demeanor.

James eventually springs to his feet and shakes the Starmie from his senses before looking at his afro.

"Wah!  Look what you did to my precious afro!" he groans as he grabs the comb off the table and tries to comb out the fizzles disfiguring its usual roundness.

"What policeman sports an afro, anyway?" Hierophant mutters, "In all cities I've been to, the only outrageous hairstyle is chest-long facial hair."

"It fooled Officer Jenny, didn't it!?" James preaches proudly as he snatches Tarot Skitty and starts backing out of the door, "Now if you'll excuse me.  I'm going to go...turn this over to the proper evidence holders...."

"I think you should wait a few more minutes...." Hierophant mutters, sensing Eight Wands heading in the exiting policeman's direction, "You might...."

"Silence!" James laughs as he continues to back out of the room, "The only spiritual mumbo-jumbo I wanna hear is the foreseeing preaching of the Wheel of Fortune card telling me how best to turn these precious jewels over to the boss!"

No sooner had he reached the middle of the hall, he suddenly collides with the Officer Jenny that had just marched out of Mewtwo's holding chamber.  Yamask, not realizing what was going on, but mortified at the thought of being flung from James' afro, shoves his curled hand out towards the direction he was being knocked from, causing Jenny to go flying towards the other end of the hallway.


Hearing the commotion from WilyII's interrogation room, Jenny sighs in mild frustration.

"That better not be that kid again, or I'm going to end up in the same mannerism as my sister...."

She gets up and heads out to figure out what was going on, finding James standing in the middle of the hallway with Yamask's curled paw sticking out of his afro.

"Uh-oh...." he yelps before bouncing around and making a run for the other end of the hallway.

Merrick contemplates another dose of healing energy, but with Jenny within eyesight, he didn't want her getting suspicious and lumping WilyII in with the incident Tarot Skitty and Hierophant were being put through.

Jenny seemed visibly nervous, but she attempts to keep her calm composure, "I'm really sorry if all of this seems shocking and uncomfortable for you, but we have to work in the favor of those who clearly are more deserving of Pokemon that once belonged to wrongful hands."

Ryuta grabbed Mewtwo's wrist, hinting at him to not go any further with his intentions, "Remember what I said.  Keep calm and trust your trainer."

Dr. Wily II nodded slowly. Officer Jenny sounded confident about keeping Carr in check, at least he would not be causing anymore problems... Hopefully. "... So what about me?"

"When the time comes, you'll be put on trial and questioned about your actions creating Mewtwo and keeping him under control up until the incident that let him loose.  If you answer without upset, the first part of the trial may go smoothly."

Ryuta wanted to retort that accusation, but keeps his mouth shut, knowing the other Jenny was too busy with Mewtwo's creator to come in and rectify the situation.


"Given his past criminal records, including one where he almost endangered a forest of Pokemon by sabotaging a ship and riddling it with 11 Forretress, and how he's behaving right now, using his Psychic attacks to break free of his confinements, I have a feeling he's currently beyond reasoning," Jenny chuckles nervously, "We're just going to have to wait until he runs out of PP before taking any further physical actions to restrain and figure out a way to expel whatever side effects are allowing to continue using these moves without the cards present."

Berbil Ben watches from a distance, but doesn't get involved unless asked to.

The two Berbils eventually return with the parts and sets off towards workbench adjacent to where the blueprints are and begins cleaning off the rust and gunk that had developed over the amount of time left in the dingy, element-vulnerable environment.  Another Berbil heads over to help construct them as per the given blueprints.
