Jenny didn't seem sure her sister was telling the truth, but considering there were other cases that might require her iron-fisted attention, she decides to humor her for the time being.

"Alright, I'll stop and let you out AFTER I take Mr. Mizusawa and Mr. Wright to the Pokemon Institute," she began, "Until I get back, I'm going to have a doctor sent down to our room to examine you and make sure you've fully recovered from yesterday's fiasco."

"Complain and whine all you want," Jenny grumbles, "If you had just bit your lip and suspended your disbelief, maybe I wouldn't have to kick you off the case and rely on my cousin to handle most of the work."

She then attempts to change the subject, "Speaking of which, I'm going to be talking to my cousin concerning whether I should also accompany Phoenix Wright with Mr. Mizusawa, or let her handle Phoenix's own investigation.  So I better not get any reports of you trying to sabotage our investigation just to get your petty revenge on Mewtwo.  In fact, I might have to keep you locked in our room until you swear you'll behave and apologize for all the hardship you caused Ms. Shank and her friends."

"I'm just about finished reading the evaluations of the test we performed on the card used in the incident," Jenny began, "But without a Ditto to prove the card was capable of copying such an inbred ability, we may have to schedule a trip to the Institute to see if they have a Ditto they could let us borrow and confirm Mewtwo's accusation and put one case to rest."

"I believe that I can handle the psych eval," Mewtwo nodded. "I have heard the term before.  The other tests, though," he trailed off, rubbing his neck tube again.  With his other hand, he gestured and focused on stacking the cookies into a pyramid.  He flicked his fingers and the pyramid tumbled into a pile of cookies, with one or two landing just shy of the plate's rim. "When he squeezed it and caused my limbs to go numb, it startled me, to say the least.  That was why I was testing my powers."  He stopped rubbing his neck tube and reached across the table to grab one of the cookies.

"It must be some kind of safety feature," Ryuta said, "Most likely to make sure you don't cause any trouble once you're released from your tube."

"That worked out well, considering how hard it would be to get behind him and grab it," James mutters while readjusting his glasses.

Meowth sighed as well, "Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be....  Then again this was just a passing glance, so I can't rest easy while I'm stuck here."

"Best you can do is just wing it until Dr. Yeung has had his fill of Pokemon acting out of the ordinary," James said while handing Meowth a Magikarp-shaped cookie.

"The only thing we have to worry about now is that psyche eval," Ryuta said, "I have a feeling he might do more than just writing and reading, but it's merely a hunch since I've barely seen the full extent of one."

"I guess I don't have to ask which of the cards he caught," Hierophant sighed, "Danny's the only one with the tenacity to give the captor a runaround before being forced onto their being, and Merrick was still with us when things were beginning to simmer down."

Mewtwo nodded slowly. "I still do not know what I am."

"So, how do other people respond when you talk?" Yeung looked to Meowth again. "Are you able to read and write?  What is your grip strength?  Are you able to use tools?  I noticed that you had some difficulty with silverware, due to the lack of an opposable thumb."  He stood and walked over to Meowth, taking his hand and spreading the digits. "Your paws are no different from a normal Meowth, built primarily for ambulation, rather than fine manipulation."  He let go and walked around the table, grabbing Mewtwo's hand and spreading the digits. "Whereas Mewtwo here has a highly-developed opposable thumb, hands built for manipulating objects, a far cry from the almost vestigial arms of a Mew."

Mewtwo ripped his hand from Yeung's grip and ignored him.

Yeung didn't take any offense to the action and returned to Meowth, pointing to the unopened water bottle.  "Could you open that, please?  I'd like to get a sense of your motor skills."

Meowth attempts to say something, but was interrupted by Yeung's continued interrogation over his structure and motor skills.  Still keeping in mind that he may not attempt to push him to any bodily intruding examinations without Domino's go ahead, he decides to humor the doctor and pulls the bottle towards him, clamping his three fingered paws around the cap and giving it a good twist before eventually separating the plastic lid from the bottle.  Feeling a little thirsty himself, he decides to pick up the bottle with both hands and tip the nozzle towards his gaping mouth, spilling a small pint down his throat before pulling back and letting out a satisfied gasp.

Unless Yeung finds Tarot Skitty and its cards in Domino's office, the only cards he'll most likely be aware of is the Fool Card and the Magician Card if he identifies him sticking to Hierophant's back; mostly the Fool Card if he doesn't encounter Tarot Skitty and figure out how the Wheel of Fortune card works. :P

Meowth hums while scratching his chin, "I believe I see myself as a little of both.  I fight and look like a Pokemon, yet I behave like a human even back in a time where Pokemon don't see themselves as capable of being good or evil."

Meowth changes positions, placing one paw on his heart while resting the other on his forehead below his charm, "Unfortunately, no.  When I confronted her with my results, she no longer saw me as a Pokemon, but a freak trying to pass myself off as human.  It saddened me so, but I didn't want to put my newfound abilities to waste, so I decided to join Team Rocket and help them translate any Pokemon that crosses our path."

Though he heard this tale before, James couldn't help but tear up, pulling out a handkerchief and pressing it against one of his teary eyes, "Ooooh, what a tale....  The horrors and tribulations to achieve one's true love...."

Ryuta, though intrigued by what he had been hearing, was mildly distracted by Mewtwo testing out his newly energized psychic powers, though he didn't say anything to avoid startling anyone into retaliating and causing any mess that would end up being blamed on him.

Hierophant nods, "I'll see what I can do, but I won't guarantee we'll cross paths at any point."

Hearing what Taylor said, Hierophant looks towards her with a little more concern.

"Did it have a a printing that looks like the one sticking out of my back?"

Yeung nodded, taking notes. "What made you decide to do this?  Are you literate?  The structure of the throat and palate doesn't seem conducive for speech, aside from vague approximations, though you're very articulate and you have good enunciation.  Though, that accent of yours is interesting.  I assume it was a dialect you were exposed to?"

Mewtwo watched the exchange, rubbing his neck tube with one hand.  The numbness had since subsided, though the tube itself ached slightly from being squeezed.

Meowth places one paw on his side and rubs his chin with the other, "Ah, the memories....  I once fell in love with a rich Meowth in Hollywood who preferred human pampering over the rough hardship of a stray.  I believed that if I learned the ways of a human, I could finally win her heart.  I spent days learning how to speak and walk like a human, each one taking up an ability that could just as easily benefit my livelihood.  But if it could impress her and make her love me, it was all worth the effort."

It could, depending on how they can duplicate or incorporate only three captive cards into the chosen line of confined Pokemon. :P

"For quite some time," Meowth said, standing proudly on his chair and rubbing his curled paws on his chest, "It was a hard process and for a different reason than to translate for my language-barred compatriots, but in the end, it was worth the labor."

"As long as they don't have Yan-Yan, it shouldn't be a problem," Hierphant said, "The other cards are equal concern, since Harry's his usual apathetic self and Wheel of Fortune was programmed only to follow commands, but since Danny's now with them, he might be able to figure out some way of keeping them safe and out of the hands of any other Team Rocket members who might know a thing or to of how they work.  And since I'll most likely be heading there soon, I'll be able to get a better chance of taking Tarot Skitty back before anyone else notices its existence and attempts to examine them for their own sinister purposes."

Hierophant compresses his lips at the mention of James pulling out some powerful attack he clearly never had.  He starts to worry about where Tarot Skitty was being held and if the Institute colleague with the Hermit energy came across it, it won't just be Mewtwo, Meowth and Yan-Yan that would fall victim to his dark curiosity.

James compresses his lips at the thought of helping Mewtwo while his clones could still be having a hard time getting used to examinations even normal Pokemon find harmless and quick to finish.

"Well...I'll just leave the assistance to the psyche eval to my colleague and that handler the officers insisted on accompanying Mewtwo," he said, "I really should keep an eye on the clones since my talking friend over there warned me that some of them might not be familiar with evaluations other Pokemon have gotten used to dealing with."

I've only just met him being transferred here, so who knows.... Meowth thinks back while loudly swallowing his rolled up portion of pasta, I would go on about how I learned to be so human, but I'm worried it'll just make him more curious and attempt splice something out of me to prove it was all self-taught....

Hierophant seemed a bit flustered by what he should say concerning James.  He was aware the male member of the white-dressed trio was somewhere in the Institute, but the way he had been behaving since arriving there seemed different than before.  He seemed to want to help keep Mewtwo away from Team Rocket for reasons only Ryuta seemed to know about.

Not only him, but at least two other members, along with Meowth, were having second thoughts about whatever plans their boss had for getting Mewtwo back, and are concocting something to prevent it from ever reaching fruition.  His only means of knowing what's going on was to head over there when Jenny finishes looking through the results of the examination and see if he can get anymore information from there while she and some officers that might accompany her look for a Ditto to put the Transform conundrum to rest.

Maybe.... Meowth thinks back while a bit of a sweatdrop on the side of his head, Best just to play along so he isn't pressuring us to keep eating....

He then picks up a fork, holding it like a child handling utensils for the first time and begins rolling a small ball of pasta around it before picking it up and slurping it into his mouth.

Well, college is starting soon for some.  So updates may start to die down to about a few a week, give or take.

As for Pokemon, right now, it isn't as silly as it should be.  We're in the middle of straightening out the cases to avoid Mewtwo being returned to Team Rocket.  Hopefully by the end of that trial, things will dwindle back to their usual campy silliness.

Officer Jenny was in the middle of looking over the results of Yan-Yan's physical examination when she heard her office phone ring.  Without looking, she reaches over and picks it up.

"Vermillion City Police Station, Officer Jenny speaking," she answers, surprisingly not sounding distracted.

"I've heard that so many times it's become instinct...." Meowth sighs nervously.

"Ah, well... Not sure what use I would be... I only joined everyone in Fuchsia..." she replied, grunting through the pain a bit. "Anyone got anything for an everythingache?"

Hierophant compressed his lips while staring at the card on his back.  It was already clear that Yan-Yan was the only card the officers wanted to focus on as he was the only one identified in both the sketches, as well as his and Mewtwo's testimony.

"I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do this...but...." he mutters before summoning his staff and pointing it towards Taylor, "Kindness Drop."

A Water Rune appears within the orb as a watery glow emits from it, causing a single drop to fall onto Taylor as glowing sparkles ease and wash away the pain she was mysteriously in.

"I wouldn't blame him," Hierophant said after swallowing another bite, "Aside from everything reminding him of his worst moment of life, being the only Pokemon designed to be an evolution of sorts to a Legendary must also be hard on him and those who cross his path.  If it weren't for the things that happened in the past week, there may be some who might not even believe that he is a Pokemon, let alone one based on a Legendary.  It's one of the reasons I don't talk about Tarot Skitty or its cards much unless they were traveling with me and my Pokemon."

"Considering how rare it is to see a Pokemon verbally talk, I wouldn't be surprised the handlers would mistake him for a clone and lock him up with the other clones," Hierophant sighs, "But since Ryuta's with them, I'm sure he'll make sure everything goes smoothly and none of the shadier members of the Institute attempt anything that will ensure Team Rocket full control over Mewtwo during the battling trial."

"Somehow, I don't see that happening, since she has as much control over this station and the trial in this city as the other two Jennys, and can easily have the officers kiss her feet with a mere stomp," Hierophant sighs, "But hopefully her sister would know better and let her cousin accompany him when he heads over to the Institute to conduct his own investigation."

"I doubt the police would let him speak to Mewtwo," Hierophant said, "Even the overworked Jenny knows that suspects have to be properly evaluated in order to make the case more believable to both sides."

He stops a moment and runs his free hand along the bangs of his hair, "I just hope they don't let her tag along with him when that time comes."

Hierophant nods as he listens into what Quickie has recovered so far to tilt the jury's favor towards her.

"Hopefully the investigation on the institute will also keep Team Rocket from sabotaging any intentions of forcing Mewtwo into only obeying them," he assures, "Since they know that Team Rocket will do anything to win the trial, they're going to be extra observant over any undercover members that might try to slip something into Mewtwo or any evidence collected so far to prove they have all rights to control him regardless of their past criminal records."

"They're fine," Hierophant said, "They aren't going to include the whole 'deformation' thing into the case since it was my doing and they're aware that I'm capable of fixing the problem if it bothers everyone else."

He pauses a moment to glance towards the card sitting on his back, "Right now I'm more concerned about the other cards that were involved in the case.  I've told them what Yan-Yan can do, and they were able to prove that he can imprint any ability he sees or is hit with into the holder's conscience.  But without a Pokemon that can transform, Jenny's having a hard time convincing anyone that his capabilities can expand that far.  They're contemplating taking us to the Pokemon Institute to borrow a Ditto and confirm that Carr did use Yan-Yan to transform into a Shiny Mewtwo."
