Yan-Yan could only sigh in exasperation as Meekins' concentration on his choice Pokemon started to take effect.

His entire body flashed a bright white as it began to grow and fatten to the average size Venusaur, complete with the blossoming, tree-size flower and surrounding leaves.

Unfortunately, once the glowing stopped, the Venusaur looked nothing like what a typical, non-Shiny Venusaur is supposed to look like.  Instead, it bore Meekin's skin-color with the flower and leaves a hue of his uniform.  Yan-Yan was almost mashed onto the floor due to the Venusaur's inability to stand on its own two feet, the top half wiggling wildly while he popped in and out of the card to try and get out.

Merrick seemed too focused on the mismatched coloring of the Venusaur to notice Yan-Yan's predicament, "That's the unfortunate side-effect of copying abilities from a distance.  Some of them don't always work 100% and can leave some, uncomfortable aftermaths...."

While Yan-Yan seemed too busy nervously observing the fiasco around him, he was paying enough attention to see the Ditto transform.  The corners of his card began to glow brightly and surround Meekin, causing an odd sensation of knowing exactly how to become any Pokemon he desired.

Merrick seemed nervous about the whole situation, but figures it was best to keep going in order to get it over and done quickly, "Okay....  Now think of a Pokemon you want to transform into....  Preferably one that can fit in this room and won't upset Mewtwo...."

Back at the remains of the Wily Star II, Hajime's dragon mech picked up an alert of war watching a good distance from where the remains were drifting.  He didn't want to get involved, knowing it would only further jeopardize the livelihood of those who refuse to be a part of the war, but if the fight somehow drifts towards the Star before enough of the repairs are finished for a counter attack, he wouldn't hear the end of it from the nagging old doctor.

Not wanting to bother World, who was still busy monitoring the cards and Robot Masters still working on the repairs, he opens a channel to where Magician and Hermit were, both of whom had split to look for the fedora-wearing platypus still wandering the area.

"If you don't have anything better to do, I need you to scout out a situation somewhere between the SexStation and the Star," he began.

"What about that platypus that's running about the Star!?" Magician almost exasperated.

"Let Strength handle it," Hajime said, "If that fight escalates over here, we're going to have more than just the Resistance breathing down our necks."

Magician seemed a bit upset that he was being forced back into space to monitor something he can't get involved in, but since he and Hermit were the only ones materalized and willing to cooperate without question, it seemed he didn't have much of a choice.

"It's not like we have anything better to do," Hermit quips, "Most of the repairs are being done by those old Wily Robots that were brought here, so unless you want to go back down to earth and help Hierophant and Death get Emperor out of the WDS, this would be the best possible means of making ourselves useful."

Magician cringed at the thought of having to deal with Emperor's obsession with spying on leaders, especially someone as maniacal and quick to dissect anything he isn't familiar with as WilyII.  Muffling a frustrated growl, he slumps his shoulders in defeat.

"Oh...alright....  I guess we really have no other choice if we want to get back to other businesses without having anymore debt to weed out...."

The two then rendezvous at a more stable, completely repaired area of the Wily Star II and teleported a few yards from where the fight was taking place, each hiding in a busted Arwing to avoid being spotted by either side.

"Make sure the card is facing Ditto during it's transformation," Merrick said, "The effects won't work if he isn't looking at the Ditto during its metamorphose."

Tarot Skitty watched with both confusion and uncertainty as the jumpy officer scrambles to the front of the courtroom before looking back to the judge, "As a bit of a warning, I'll be substituting another card in Fool's place.  Without his personality and such, I'll be nothing more than a mindless toy drifting about the courtroom and becoming a bigger hindrance to this current situation."

It then opens its mouth, allowing Yan-Yan to drift out towards Meekins while Merrick, who had been added to the deck of this kind of situation, quickly takes its place, causing its entire being to glow and grow to the exact appearance of Hierophant with the only exception being the miter perched neatly on his slightly shaggy blue hair.

Hierophant, meanwhile, took notice of Mewtwo's constant biting of his lips, wishing he could use the spells provided by the Magician card to cure his current wound, but worries it would only further jeopardize Tarot Skitty's chances of escaping the region without drawing too much attention to the capabilities of its cards.

Tarot Skitty pawed at its chin, seeming in deep, nervous thought, before looking back towards the Judge, "Another suggestion...if you don't mind me asking....  But perhaps a Pokemon with a Transform ability?  I'm sure you've read the reports, but most of this was because a former Team Rocket renegade by the name of Carr stole me and my cards, used the Fool card to obtain the ability to Transform, and took control of Mewtwo's clones by taking on his Shiny form and forcing them to accompany his coup to take control of the organization.  If his trials coming up soon, we could catch two Pidgey with one throw....  If you're interested, that is...."

Tarot Skitty quickly shuts its curled mow as it irked at the thought of endangering Mewtwo's freedom even further than it already was.  Though no one could do a thing about this without the judge's say so, it also didn't want to be put on the brunt end of an attack if only because the opposing side will continue to rip the physical evidence until it resembled their crude, untrustworthy masterpiece to shove straight into Mewtwo's face.

Moaning, it turns its attention towards the Judge, "Well...if there really is no other choice, might I suggest someone unfamiliar with the use of my cards be the demonstrator that will prove my point of just how magical these cards are?  I'd love to do it myself, really, but I think it would make my point more believable if someone other than me and those who have accompanied me handled the Fool card and take whatever attack Mewtwo or some other trainer's Pokemon throws at them...."

Tarot Skitty just stood on the stand, fidgeting uncomfortably until Meowth yanks its tail, forcing it to bite back the urge to screech in pain.  Moaning in reluctance, it began to speak, though no one could hear its cat-like noises as Meowth had rewired the mic on the stand to transmit his accented mews.

"That all depends on the type of card," Tarot Skitty "began", "Each have their own abilities that they can share with whomever holds them close to their personal space."

It stops a moment and opens its mouth wide enough to reveal Yan-Yan's card hovering within the center of its gaping mow, "This card, I'm sure you're most concerned about, has the capabilities of copying any moves he sees or is hit with, and will keep those abilities as long as the holder remains within contact with the card."

I wonder what it would be like to play Final Fantasy 6 co-op.

If I remember correctly, the second player takes command of any 1-3 characters the first player chooses (Don't remember if the second player can take all four, it's been a while since I've played any SNES Final Fantasy game in co-op).  My dad and sister used to split the party into two groups whenever they play Final Fantasy IV, V, VI, and IX.

Although Tarot Skitty was aware of what was going on during the time stop phenomenon, it couldn't move or see anything but what was being shown to Phoenix.  Once again, it almost falls over backwards as time resumes, allowing the still unaware Meowth to continue stumbling towards the stand.

"Will you stop wiggling...!?" Meowth hissed, "You want everyone to understand you, right?"

Tarot Skitty resists the urge to look down as Meowth continues to clamber over to the steps leading to the stand, "As you're already aware, some of us are more concerned about the well being and financial situation of Mewtwo than our boss, who only seems to care about putting him down as some sick revenge for everything he's caused in the past.  And since everyone here might not acknowledge your inability to speak anything but cat noises, I figured I could act as your second voice, provided no one else notices me hiding under your robe."

Tarot Skitty moans while pressing its kitty-like finger towards its chin, "Just say what you need to say.  I'll make sure they only hear what they expect a human-like being like you to say."

Feeling like it didn't have much of a choice, it nods and lets Meowth continue to carry him towards the stand.  While waiting for the prosecution to begin, Meowth secretly messes with the mic to make it transfer his speech rather than Tarot Skitty's.

Although time had stopped for a second time, Hierophant, Tarot Skitty, and its cards were still aware of the pranks that were being pulled, but neither could find the time to ponder about it as time starts up again, almost causing Tarot Skitty to fall off Meowth as he continues forward, completely unaware of anything but dragging Yan-Yan materalized Robot Master to the stand as per Phoenix's request.

Hierophant stops near the gate separating the audience from the stands, more worried about what Meowth was intending to do with this next leg of the trial and if it was going to help Tarot Skitty's lack of speaking human tongue.

"He may be a Pokemon, one created by humans at that, but he is quick to understand what's best for himself and those who trust and befriend him," Ryuta said, "He just needs to learn to have faith in them and not immediately focus on the bad things that could happen without his intervention."

Meowth fidgets irritably as Payne continues to pressure the jury into antagonizing Mewtwo and his clones and disregard any further need to pile more evidence proving otherwise.

He wants to do just as Domino pleads; rush onto the stand and defend Mewtwo's individuality and reasons for letting the clones run loose in the first place, but knows that even the bitchy Jenny had authority over the courtroom and the rest of the city she was stationed in and could easily sway the jury to mistake him for one of Mewtwo's clones.  Not only that, but he would end up not only betraying Giovanni for standing up to Mewtwo, but also Mewtwo himself by simply suggesting he rethink his monetary situation.

He turns his glance towards Tarot Skitty and Hierophant, who were sitting a few rows in front of them.  Even though Ash and Misty will defend Mewtwo without question, there was still the matter of that Shiny Mewtwo that Carr imitated.  He had to get them to at least understand why Mewtwo acted the way he did in Route 11 and Vermilion City.

Meowth slinks off the bench and crawls over to where Tarot Skitty was sitting, muscling his way into its purple robe and shoving it off its seat.  Hierophant snaps his head towards the ensuing fiasco as Meowth wrangles the Fool-materialized Robot Master onto his shoulders and begins carrying him towards where Phoenix is.  Unsure of what was going on, and worrying that this fiasco might get Tarot Skitty kicked out of the courtroom, he gets up and goes after the lumbering cat Pokemon, being careful not to draw attention to himself or the unwitting Robot Master.

Ryuta compressed his lips as Mewtwo's temper was starting to outmatch the tranquil energy he was easing into his conscience.  He didn't want the Pokemon to unintentionally antagonize himself just reacting to the mention of his clones and attempts to concentrate further on his transferring energy, increasing its spiritual potency and further push back the rage that was slowly boiling away the awareness of his current situation.

Ryuta observes Mewtwo's attempts to control his temper.  While he trusts that the one-of-a-kind Pokemon will keep his temper in check, he starts to worry that the rest of the courtroom wouldn't see it that way with the bias Jenny putting assumptions into their unaware conscience.

He decides it best to help Mewtwo stay calm by placing his hands on his forehead and chest, transferring his tranquil energy to ensure he remains calm, serene, and trustful that others will defend his clones and their familial loyalty to him.
