Just as Berbil Jade approached the docking bay of the SexStation, she notices a straggler break from the pack and head in the same direction.  She can tell by the alert on the Arwing's scanner that he was not to be trusted and immediately launches another Smart Bomb towards him, followed by a hail of lasers from the Twin Blasters the Berbils managed to install into its wings.  If the Smart Bombs didn't at least derail his trek towards the station, at least the blinding light will act as a smokescreen to keep him from dodging the lasers fired at him.

WilyII was about to peek through the bars of the crate when one of Hajime's wires coiled around it, hiding the three Berbils from sight.  Unbeknownst to the maniacal doctor, the claw end of the wire secretly knocks the latch off, allowing them to escape at any time.

"Let's just say I'm out for more than just your debt," Hajime said, "It isn't easy keeping up a normal life when you have to salvage enough to put food on the table."

Hearing this only made WilyII more greedy as he was certain the other pocket Hajime was shaking money out of was the Resistance; anything he can do to discombobulate their plans is all the more reason to prod the contents of the crate.

"Well, if that crate is so important, perhaps you should take it with you in case some...unruly intruder doesn't try and steal your precious income," WilyII offers, "Here, let me help you carry that crate to our...place of negotiation."

Another wire pushes WilyII back as Hajime keeps nonchalant about his approach.

"I'd rather you didn't," Hajime said, flatly, "My arsenal pack is more than capable of carrying something this heavy."

"Oh, but it would be rude of me not to make you carry something that's expensive and easy to break," WilyII insists, pushing against Hajime's second wire while attempting to grab the one bound around the cage, "If I can just have a small peek inside, I'll be able to know how many robots to summon and take over the carrying process."

WilyII continues to push against the second wire until he eventually steps to the side, causing it to fly past him and into a nearby wall, producing a small, wire-shaped dent.  While Hajime tries to get the second wire out, the sinister doctor turns his focus towards the other wire covering the bar-covered peephole.

"Now then," he snickers, pushing the wires away from the peephole, "Let old WilyII have a look see-"

The second WilyII pushed the wires off the crate, the door flies open, causing three spherical wheels to fly out at him.  One smacked him in the face, the second bounced off his head, and the third hit his shoulder, sending him into a spin and making him too dizzy to think straight as the balls rolled off into the nearest open door they could find.

By the time WilyII regained his senses, the first thing he saw was Hajime's nonchalant leer before he turns his attention to his abacus and tosses some more beads around.

"And that's another fee for ruining a delivery meant for someone else," he mutters while studying the position he flicked the beads in, "Keep this up and you'll be in the same situation you put your old experiment verifier in."

Berbil Jade observed the damage being done to her Arwing from the hail of laser firing at her, but because of her inanimate features, there was no way to tell if she was shaken scared or nonchalant about the danger she might be in.

The person driving the mech appears to be handling most of the situation, and Jade can't afford to let the Arwing be damaged anymore than it already was when the village put it back together.  Plus, she still has to find Joe and rescue him from whatever danger he might be in.

Reluctantly, she turns the near damaged Arwing towards the SexStation and blasts off towards it, dodging as much laser fire as possible.

Sonic The Fighters was on Arcade ;)

There's also
SegaSonic the Hedgehog
, but I think it's a Japan exclusive, so it's rarely known.

But like everyone says, it's not strictly arcade only, so there could be other console characters that could have a cameo other than Sonic and Eggman. 8D

(I'll hold off on Berbil Jade's fate until the others have posted.  For now TIME TO COLLECT [eyebrow])

Hajime can already sense the exasperation billowing from WilyII's soul upon seeing him on the hanger monitor; if he doesn't immediately come down to greet him in person, the infiltration operation could go a little more smoother.

"Oh, you know, since we were buddies in the past, I just thought I'd stop by, see how you were doing," he said before bring out his abacus and flicking the beads around, "Talk about additional fees for wrecking the parts you still haven't paid for."

Just before Berbil Joe lost control of his will to the dark object, he managed to send a distress signal to the rest of the Berbils, letting them know that something has happened to him that needs to be dealt with immediately.

Thankfully, the second Arwing had been repaired with the parts Hajime picked up so far.  Though it needed some more tests to make sure it worked properly, with one of their own in unwilling danger, they couldn't afford to ignore his cry for the sake of their own judgment.

"No time for test run!" the brown Berbil beeps, "Berbil Jade take Arwing to Resistance!  Save Berbil Joe and Resistance!"

The Berbil in the cockpit, a jade colored, round-headed Berbil, distinguished as female by a jade flower near her left ear, salutes as she presses a button to close the hatch to the cockpit.  The ceiling breaks away as the Arwing lifts up and flies off in the direction of the Sex Station.  Jade wastes no time activating the thrusters, having known where the Sex Station is by reading a map they uncovered from an old computer.

But upon arrival into space, she quickly notices three space crafts heading towards the Sex Station.  She can see the base on full alert, suggesting they aren't friendly stragglers looking for a place to land and refuel.

She decides to test the functionality of the bomb launcher and aims the Arwing's cannon towards one of the enemy crafts, pressing a button that fired a red ball towards the nearest one, causing an explosion that filled a third of its blast radius.  Whether the attack affected anything, she had to wait until the light faded to find out.

(I'll leave Berbil Joe either to Tron's control, or when the others have a chance to post and do something about his uncontrolled antics 8D)

Having seen enough, Berbil Joe attempts to push Akai away.

"Hurt not the one that upset you," he persists, "Back up generator limited.  If robot insists on relieving anger, take it out on the one who made robot so attached to Grumpy Man."

Berbil Joe continued to watch the scenario unfold, once again cocking his cylinder-shaped head in an unintentionally cute manner before quickly setting it straight.

"Is now the time to be inflicting self damage?" he asked, "Back up generator limited; Grumpy Man stay well to avoid further harm until main engine is repaired."

"Don't bother with them...." Kharaxel mutters while rubbing his temples, "As far as I'm concerned, this has become a normal routine...."

Berbil Joe overhears the conversation, realizing his efforts to help out might hinder the recovery rather than speed it along.  He could join them, but there may not be enough Arwings to welcome his involvement, and the one he brought back still needed to be checked over and repaired.

He turns his attention to the robot that threw herself into the engine.  She didn't appear to be functioning due to the shock of the impact, and the ensuing jostling that shut everything down.

He originally thought she was with the enemy sacrificing herself for the good of WilyII's domination, but seeing as no one was doing anything to apprehend her, he assumes she might not be as big of a threat as he originally assumed.  There was no way to tell with this much chaos going on.

Joe decides the best course of action was to take her to Sick Bay and examine her for himself, all the while protect her and the rest of the station from any further interior attacks.  He walks over to the robot and lifts her over his head, effortlessly trotting out of the engine room and towards the location of sick bay using the age old method of stumbling around until he finds the place.

Berbil Joe was about to contemplate fighting siege when the entire station suddenly shook.  Calamity ensued of one of their main power engines going out insinuating if it isn't repaired immediately, the entire station was either going to explode or detract towards the planet on a deadly collision course.

Though he lacks the ability to express facial expressions, he obviously was unwilling to die after working so hard to prove his loyalty to the Resistance.  He immediately snaps into his wheel formation and rolls through the hanger towards the location of the main power engine, keeping aware of the direction some of the maintenance crew members were going in so he doesn't get lost in this spacious facility.

Once he got there, he flips back to his natural stature and, upon seeing the cause of the explosion, cocks his head to one side in curiosity.

There appears to be a pair of legs sticking out of a hole in the main engine.  It was impossible for whoever owns them to have accidentally plowed herself into something so big and in the way, so he can only assume she purposely threw herself into it as some kind of kamikaze to bring the station into disarray and allow the enemy free reign over the Resistance.

Nonchalantly, he walks over to the pair of legs and grabs them, using his robotic might to rip her out and toss her aside just as some of the maintenance crew members arrived to assess and fix the damage.  Joe looks between them and the suicidal robot before going to lend a hand in getting the engine back up and running.

Hajime enters the hanger area of the WDS, noticing WilyII still hasn't noticed his arrival.  He expected to have tripped at least one alarm, but considering his awareness towards something that wasn't part of his army he assumed that person may have already did him the favor of tripping most of them.

This would have been the perfect opportunity to release the three Berbil and let them stealth their way into the station to uncover the whereabouts of PB, but Hajime worries doing so right now would have given WilyII all the excuse he needed to force him onto his side and make him cater to his every decisions.  He decides it was probably best to play the debt collector and sends one of his wires out to press one of the buttons on a nearby keypad, causing a hilariously unorthodox doorbell sound to ring throughout the hanger.

Berbil Joe once again cocks his head to one side at the apparent wackiness going on in front of him, though he doesn't attempt to question it (Whether by design or the lack of nerves to derail the subject at hand was only up to him to acknowledge).

"Berbil Joe," he beeps in a monotone, almost Microsoft Bob sounding voice, "Sent by refugees of Robear Village to return fallen Arwing.  Berbils fix Arwing best they could, but still lacks parts necessary to fully complete repairs."

Berbil Joe observes the presence of what looked like a female version of "the one who holds the Sword of Owens".  This could have been seen as an insult, but thanks to Hajime's explanation, he barely cocked his cylinder-shaped head at the odd appearance before unattentively pressing one of the buttons on the console, causing the hatch to swing open and present himself before what he could calculate as a trio.

He doesn't say anything (Even Berbils knew "we come in peace" is an overrated greeting), and waits to see if the female version of the holder would be calm enough to ask for identification (Common courtesy; plus he felt he was too far out of the loop to want to ask the type of thorn sticking out of her side...metaphorically speaking).

As Berbil Joe approaches the Sex Station, one of its hatches open up, most likely the hanger.  It appears either the pilot of the other Arwing sent a signal, or they picked up the heat signature rising from the Arwing the other Berbils had repaired.  Either way it saves him the trouble of having to test out the radio communicator to see if it was working properly.

Being careful not to mislead the Resistance into seeing him as a threat, Joe pilots the Arwing towards the hanger, keeping an eye out for anything that might grab it and damage the repairs the Berbils did so far with the pieces they were given, before focusing on the launch pad the Arwings would normally be lined up against for release into space and carefully landing it on the metallic surface.

Berbil Joe looks towards his scanner again, noticing an Arwing signal heading in the same direction he was heading towards.  Did the Berbils already finish the second Arwing and sent it to space?

He couldn't stop now, knowing that there was only 2hrs left before overheat leaves him drifting through space without a means of cooling the engines, and the built-in distress signal would reach out to all frequencies, alerting WilyII to his presence and sending a robot army to apprehend him; he would much rather be within the parameters of the Sex Station before attempting something this desperate.  He would have to wait until they get to the station before uncovering the pilot behind the newly arrived Arwing.

The Dragon Truck soon arrives at the entrance of WDS.  Hajime can sense the maniacal doctor too busy on other things to notice the truck, but he feels it would be too soon to let the voluntary Berbils out this quickly.

"It looks like the doctor's still preoccupied," he mutters to the crate, "Let's see if we can get further inside without tripping any visual alarms."

He then starts to drive the truck towards the location of the hanger, keeping an eye out for any cameras that might alert unidentified vehicles intruding on unwelcomed pavement.

Berbil Joe checked the temperature gauge as the Arwing hits the ozone layer, causing a dome of fire to form around its nose.  The exit appears to have sped up the rising temperature, making chance of overheat more possible.  Without thinking or contemplating the situation, he presses a pair of buttons on the steering wheel, causing a burst of energy to fling the Arwing further into space, causing a drastic jump in temperature, but quickly stopping once he reached the airless atmosphere.

By now the Arwing's rocket temperature had reached 25% since take off.  Joe remains nonchalant (As if a Berbil could express any emotions), as he continues his long, careful trek towards the Sex Station, keeping in mind the distress signal located near the steering wheel if he feels he needs to call ahead of time to be picked up.

The first Arwing was completed by the time Hajime came back with a workable crate.  The brown Berbil, though aware of his presence, remains focused on the first task at hand.

"Resistance Arwing rebuilt," he beeps, "Berbil now begin function test for bugs and malfunction before taking out for test flight."

Another Berbil, this one a light blue and a cylinder-shaped head, climbs into the cockpit and starts pressing some of the buttons it memorized from an instruction manual found on the internet.  The Arwing's boosters burst to life, spewing out a small blaze of rocket fuel while the Berbil piloting it checks the temperature gauge to see how quickly the thrusters overheat.

"Booster rockets at 70%," the Berbil translates, "Estimate time of flight: 5hrs before overheat imminent.  Arwing possible for entry into space."

"Berbils continue work on other Arwing," the brown Berbil commands, "Berbil Joe take Arwing to location of Resistance to complete repairs using parts stored there."

Joe salutes as a hatch opens overhead, allowing him to safely lift the Arwing into the sky.  Once above the repair dome, he presses another button to close the hatch to the Arwing before piloting it towards space, heading in the direction of the Sex Station.

"Have you narrowed down the Berbils that will attempt to infiltrate WilyII's WDS?" Hajime asked.  The brown Berbil nods as he escorts Hajime outside to three other Berbil, the purple one female by the Swamp Lily attached to the right ear.  The second Berbil is red, and the third Berbil is orange.

"Berbils volunteered to try and infiltrate World Domination Station," the brown Berbil introduced, "Berbils understand danger; Berbils willing to sacrifice independence for safe return of one who holds Sword of Omens."

Hajime nods before walking towards the three Berbil, "Alright then, I've found a suitable crate for you three to hide in.  So when you're ready, head inside and I'll close it up."

He then pauses a moment in hesitation before assuming a mild regretful expression, "I should warn you, WilyII isn't so slow to not notice the crate, so if he starts to question its appearance, and none of my excuses work, be warned I may end up having to sell you in order to keep up the farce."

"Berbils understand," the trio said with a salute, "Berbils prepared to sacrifice if infiltration fails."

Hajime nods again, feeling even more worried about the outcome of their plan as the trio head into the crate and await him to close and lock it.  He wastes no further moment and heads over to the crate, closing the door so only the small, three barred window could be visible, and locks the latches before using his wires to load the create onto the Dragon Truck.  Once secured, he climbs into the driver's seat and makes the long, hopefully uninterrupted trek towards the location of WDS.

(I think I saw a episode of Thunder Cats yesterday with those Robear things, how ironic.)

(Inspiration works in mysterious ways. :P)

As the Berbils were busy reconstructing the Arwings using the parts that had fallen from the sky, the brown Berbil looks towards Hajime, who stood in the background, overlooking the process.

"Berbils discuss disappearance of the one who holds the Sword of Omens," it began, "Berbils want to rescue the one who holds the Sword of Omens like the Resistance rescued Berbil."

"Do you even know where he is?" Hajime asked, "I may have seen him get kidnapped while he was still out of breath, but then everything vanished, like he didn't exist."

"Berbils recognize robots that kidnapped the one who holds the Sword of Omens," the brown Berbil admits, "Robots most likely taken holder to World Domination Station.  Berbils plan to infiltrate and rescue."

"No, that would be too easy," Hajime mutters, "He's gotta have a secret base of sorts to hide someone as important as PB."

"Perhaps," the brown Berbil beeps, sounding disappointed, "Which brings Berbils to next idea.  If Berbils are captured, Berbils beg to join Dr. Wily II in attempt to locate whereabouts of the one who holds the Sword of Omens."

"Do you think that would work?" Hajime asked, almost bewildered, "You saw what WilyII did to one of the Berbils after he stole you from Third Earth.  He could have figured out a way to reprogram you and make you mindless drones like the mets he keeps slapping together."

"Perhaps," the brown Berbil beeps again, "But Berbil are born of technology Dr. Wily II may not be familiar with and could still be tinkering with Berbil he took from group.  If nothing else, Berbils at least save the Berbil Dr. Wily II is currently tormenting."

Hajime sighs a bit in frustration.  It took the Resistance a day at best to find and bust the Berbils out of their confinements, and by now, WilyII may have already finished figuring out the technology that keeps them alive.  Still, even without facial expressions, it must grind their wires into a knot not being able to do anything but rust within the murky environments of the Junkyard.

"Yeah, I suppose you're right," he sighs again, "But I think it would be a good idea to have as few Berbils infiltrating the base as possible.  That way if WilyII does catch onto the intrusion, he won't have as many slaves fighting against the Resistance."

Hajime then reaches into his pocket and pulls out a quote that had been faxed to him earlier today, "I may have to help you get in, though.  The doc owes me some money for the parts he used to build that second Wily Star."

"Dragon Rider know Dr. Wily II long ago," the brown Berbil said, sounding worried amidst the monotone, flat whirr, "Dr. Wily II may dupe Dragon Rider to work for him as well."

"It's like you said, we won't know unless we get there and see what happens," Hajime said while taking out a abacus and flicking the beads around, "Besides, he made the mistake of launching that Wily II Star without paying for the parts he had me dig, clean up, polish, and repair, so calculating along with the damage caused by the Resistance and he won't even think of dumping all that income on his experiment verifier, Afro-Shroom."

Hajime then looks back down to the Berbils, "Not only that, but just busting into the WDS will just get you captured a lot faster.  It would be best if I at least get you into the hanger before figuring out your next plan of action."

The brown Berbil looks outside to the small group who had been overhearing the conversation, all nodding in agreement to Hajime's additional direction.

"Very well," he said, "If Dragon Rider believes Dragon Rider can sneak Berbils into World Domination Station, than Berbils accept Dragon Rider's help.  Berbils figure out what to do next along the way."

Hajime nods as he heads out into the Junkyard to dig up some appropriate crates to hide the Berbils in.

It took an hour at best, but soon, all of the parts Hajime collected had been picked clean of anything that could expose his secret whereabouts.

He tosses the empty bottle in a nearby chute that leads to a belt to be cleaned and stacked with other empty bottles and cans for sale to a recycling factory, while making his way back to the scanning room to board his Dragon Truck and drive it around several mountains of junk before reaching a seemingly colorful settlement full of candy fruit trees and houses made surpisingly of the metallic scrap that laid buried in the monalith of junk.  Wandering around the houses were Robears of differing sizes and color, some covered with the familiar stains of the Junkyard, suggesting they had been living here for some time.

They quickly noticed the aproaching truck and ran towards it, grabbing everything that sat in the outstretched carts while one of them, a brown Robearm aproached Hajime.

"Robears saw battle in sky," it spoke in a monotone voice, "Dragon Rider collect Resistance parts for Robear to repair?"

"Yeah," Hajime said, "I know how loyal you were to the Thundercats before WilyII invaded Third Earth and tried kidnapping you for slaves."

"Robear thankful to one who holds Sword of Omens.  Holder not Thundercat, but Robears would not be free if not for their intervention."

"Well, do what you feel is best to get back home," Hajime sighs, "I can only help you so far without exposing myself to either side."

Another Robear aproaches him, "Dragon Rider collect Rabid Mets.  Dragon Rider have special request?"

"If you can, have them assembled and cleaned of whatever made them rabid," Hajime said, "After the war is over, the city might need them to repair the mess this war caused."

The Robears nod and began carrying the parts to their repair station to begin work.  Hajime climbs out and follows them to monitor and help with the repairs.

After what seemed like a few hours cleaning up the dismantled rabid mets, and adding a few carts to compensate for their large number, Hajime decides to drive back to the RPM Junkyard and begin checking the parts he collected for anything that would expose his secret base and force him to relocate to avoid any unnecessary ambushes from both sides.

He drives into one of the double doors, made to look like it was part of the pile, and stops in a seemingly empty room.  Once he cut the engine, Hajime heads into another room where a computer console could be seen and begins typing stuff on the millions of buttons making up most of the console, causing the window before him to solidify into a blue screen with an outline of the Dragon Truck and all the stuff he collected over the course of the day drawn onto the surface.  Claws then dropped down from the ceiling and picked up each piece of scrap that looked like it could contain a motherboard or sorts and scanned it for anything threatening.

While this was going on, Hajime heads over to an old fridge he dug up and repaired and pulled it open, taking out a bottle of PB's special Mango Lemonade and taking a few sips while watching the scanning show in action.

Hajime tried desperately to get out of the swarm only to suddenly hit the brakes upon seeing a huge wall of electricity blast through one section of the stampede.  Following the trajectory path, he saw someone else jumping into the fray to protect the yellow scarfed Super Saiyan.  She wasted no time jumping into the heart of the swarm and swinging what looked like a living weapon around, wiping out one sector after another, most of which almost hit his truck as he was still trying to get out of the way.  With seven carts full of debris he spent most of the day collecting, he wasn't about to lose them all in this fight as much as he hates abandoning them to their fate.

But just as quickly as he had turned his focus back to the flooding road in front of him, the remaining mets began to dwindle down to nothing, leaving him with a large mess of toppled debris he would have to clean up before something else hampers his escape, which once again didn't take long when two of Wily II's Robot Masters showed up to finish what the swarm couldn't do.  Not wanting to get caught in another fight before he has a chance to secure his Dragon Truck, he quickly uses the wires from his arsenal pack to pick up the debris that had fallen out while keeping an eye on the ensuing fight to make sure he hasn't yet been spotted.

Once again, the fight quickly turned in favor of the Resistance, it seemed, as two more people showed up to stop the Robot Master from further harming the two that were already engaged in battle.  But they were too busy with the two already present Robot Masters when a third one showed up and grabbed the since normalized, yellow scarfed saiyan and teleported out, leaving them to clean up the mess that occurred.

Hajime grit his teeth in frustration that he would let something like this happen when he had every capability to fight and help out, but then if he did he would inadvertently drag Blazkrieg into a situation they weren't comfortable aiding and ruin his own business in the process.  Reluctantly, he jumps off his truck and begins collecting the remains of the rabid met army, hoping to reconfigure and use them as assistance for his Restoration Masters waiting in the safety of the Junkyard for the war to be over so they can help clean up the mess that ensued throughout the battle.

Hajime continued to mind his own business, picking up fallen scrap when he noticed a faint flash some distance from where he parked his Dragon Truck, sensing a large bonfire of anger following a massive increase in stamina and strength.  He wouldn't be too concerned about it if it weren't for several Rabid Mets blocking his path down the street, plus several more trampling around him and preventing him from doing nothing more than retreat to the cockpit of his truck to avoid getting caught in the stampede.

At a higher distance, he witnesses what he assumes to be a Super Saiyan with a yellow scarf standing before the advancing herd raring to attack the first met that approached him.  He was clearly beyond his limit and looked like he needed to sit down for a while, but a large burst of egotistic desires was keeping him from pushing the thought to the forefront of his mind.

Hajime thought about helping, but with this many mets trampling over the debris he picked up, and how deeply blinded the Sayian was in his own emotions, his first priority was to get his truck out of the way before he thinks to throw some kind of energy attack that will damage it and force him to shut down his business for a while to repair it.  Deciding to put his own profits first, he turns the engine over and attempts to drive away from the Rabid Met swarm, trampling those that were too fixated on the Saiyan to pay attention to other obstacles in their path.

(HUZZAH!!!  I R BAK FROM TEH DED TO RUINZ INVADEZ UR RP!!! 8D)

Hajime had been driving through the city for some time, picking up any debris left behind throughout the war.  He may not be a huge fan of civil wars, but he can at least make a profit out of the remains of the Arwings that survived the reentry into RPM.  Most of them contained the parts he had sold to the Resistance when they needed a cheap method of constructing their space fighters.  A little Force Metal regeneration will make them good as new for someone else to throw their money at.

He never was one for joining sides, much like the rest of Blazkrieg who would rather be cheering than fighting for a cause, but because of his business, he knew there was no telling who might find a way to rope him into their faction with little to no effort.

(As you might have read, Hajime and the rest of Blazkrieg will remain neutral, though Hajime may be prone to joining a side if something happens to him while one of them is around :P)

While it seems as though Brocky and Nekolyan were dead last, they were far from the truth.  As the racers came past the finish line, they failed to realize Tango hasn't woken up from his nap and completely missed his cue.  Somewhere in the universe, Clef is facepalming in irritation.

Of the 50 racers that crossed the finish line, Ryuta and the First Year of Otokojuku were near the front, though Ryuta was slightly faster because of his custom ride chaser.

Hearing the mark, Ryuta pins the badge onto his armband and hits the peddle, speeding off down the track as he checks his built in GPS for the shortest route to the checkpoint.

Rankiryu grins eagerly before pointing towards the horizon, "CHARGE!!!"

The students, reluctantly, complied with the order and stampedes through the starting track, leaving dusts in their wake.  For a bunch of muscle bound students, they sure can run fast.
