Roleplay / Re: Wilypocalypse NOW

Hearing Medic Man calling out, Chariot looked towards the water trail he and Erika made, remembering it was still there and Medic Man was now aware that he wasn't alone in the room.

With such a spacious room, it was nearly impossible for him to try sneaking off to another hiding spot, especially with his cape still dripping wet and the mere sound of ringing it dry will draw the maniacal medical robot closer to their hiding spot.

He pokes his head out from the corner of the bed opposite the trail he unavoidably left, seeing Medic Man following the trail like a bloodhound to a scent.  He waits until his head pokes into the other end of the table before attempting to crawl around it in the hopes of throwing him off, though with water still dripping off his cape, that attempt was going to be nearly impossible to do.

Chariot began drumming his fingers on his knees, becoming increasingly impatient with how long Medic Man was taking to repair boforte.  If it wasn't for the fact the only door out of the room was within his eyesight, and the fact that he's only at half strength, he would have been out of here before the sadistic robot was even aware there was anyone in the room.

He peeks around the corner again, seeing Medic Man almost finishing with the repairs, a bit faster than he would have expected.  Perhaps he can get everyone out of this place with no further interruptions or slow downs.

Temperance suddenly yawns and pulls herself to her feet, "Now I'm cold....  I'm going to go find that warm place I was brought to earlier...."

By the time Chariot heard her, she was already making her way out the door.  He grabs Erika and tries to run after her, but knows if he tries to stop her while Medic Man is close by he would inadvertently tempt the sadistic robot to dissect them both.  Struggling to keep from growling in frustration, he grabs his head and struggles to figure out which option was better for both of them.

Chariot pokes his head out from behind the maintenance table again, seeing Medic Man preparing to perform his sadistic melody upon the unsuspecting figure in gauze.  He couldn't bother to count how long it took for the flirty robot to repair the poor sap that suffered due to Sun's childish antics, and sometimes he wish he had.

It's not like he needed that spear anyway, considering he has an endless amount he could just pull out of nowhere, but the fact that he left it there served as an unneeded breadcrumb for the curious medical robot to spot and eventually notice the trails of water left behind by his and Erika's unexpected shower leading all the way to their cruddy hiding place.

Since it was going to be a while before Sun can actually penetrate the sealed hanger gate, Chariot figures it was probably best to just wait until the repairs were done before attempting to drag Temperance back to where Erika had unfortunately left the seemingly defenseless cards.  Hopefully by then they would have some kind of opening to escape through without being caught.

It took a while before the two finally calmed down and Sun continued torching her way through the thick patches of the hanger door.  Lovers, meanwhile looked towards the doorway, still sniffling the fear away.

"I wander wha's takin' dem so wong...." she mutters before her eyes welled up, "I hope dat mean ol' man didn't find dem...."

Sun stops blowing and flies over to Lovers, patting her on the top of her card while babbling something that caused Lovers to perk up.

"Your wight, Chika!  All I have to do is continue waiting and hoping dey come back with Mariska and Tabatha!"

Sun giggles happily as she goes back to blowing at the same hot spot she created earlier while Lovers places her elbows on Giuseppe's head and rests her chin upon her hands.

The last sentence of the faint, yet obviously familiar voice sent chills crawling down Chariot's back as he struggles even harder amidst the pain and agony he was still recovering from to get Temperance off boforte.

One final heave pulls Temperance up only to double over and fall on top of him, leaving him crushed flat on his face (somehow) and struggling once again to get some ground off her as she laid, peacefully on his back.  He can hear Medic Man make his way back to the room and, in a vain attempt to get to some cover, scrambles a forward crawl towards the still dazed Erika, grabs her card, and scrambles another forward crawl towards the other side of the maintenance table where Medic Man won't be able to see them as them.

As he begins to sigh with relief and prepares to finish recovering, he quickly realizes his spear was missing, left abandoned in the exact same location he had been knocked into when trying to stop Temperance from snoozing on the mummified figure.  But by the time he peeked around the corner, Medic Man was already back in the room, making his way towards boforte.

There was no point to trying to get his spear back with the sadistically gay robot within eyesight of the area, so Chariot had no choice but to stay camped behind the table and wait for him to finish his "procedure".

(Minor reminder (If I failed to elaborate on this during the post they were brought out of their cards), when the cards get materialized, they assume their actual size, not what they appeared as when in their cards.  So unless boforte recognizes the back of the card that's stuck to her back, he probably wouldn't know she used to exist in the card.  Right now, Sun, Chariot, and Temperance are out of their cards, so they should be quadruple the size they were when in their cards

In case you want to go into detail on what the back of the card looks like, here's a timestamped section of one of the Magical Drop
Playtyhroughs
)

Temperance moaned as she felt her supposed cloud-like mattress wiggling to bump her off.  Without opening her eyes, she raised one of her jugs and bashed it upside boforte's head, blissfully attempting to knock him out just so she could get a few more shut eye.

Chariot recovered from his recent ordeal just enough to see this happen.  Freaking out at the thought of Medic Man hearing the loud, echoing sound of metal hitting metal and rushing back to see what was going on, he runs over to Temperance and tries to move her, but was still too weak from his fight with Pixel Man to get her off the table.

Chariot rounds the corner only to notice Medic Man exiting the room.  Not wanting another fight while he was still recovering from the earlier one, and not wanting to cost Hajime anymore money than he was willing to pay for damage, he threw his back to the wall, peeking out just enough to see the happy-go-lucky medical robot moving away from the room he was just in.

As he was about to heave a frustrated sigh and get up to go to a different part of the hallway, Temperance lumbers by from another hallway, heading for the exact same room.  Panicked at the thought of there being more robots in need of repairs, and Temperance inadvertently watering them with her gold jugs, he moves to run after her only to nearly collide with Erika, who was still hot on her trail.

The two get into a charade fight over what had been going on since he left, ending with Chariot throwing his hands onto his head and faking a growl before rushing off after Temperance with Erika close behind.

Upon arrival, they find Temperance sluggishly gazing around at what could be her newest location since her last stir-up, before eventually noticing the one table with a seemingly mummified figure laying on top of it.

"Hmmm....  What a comfortable cloud....  I wonder why it's resting on the table...." she mutters before heading towards it, "Oh well....  It's better than that other room I was in...."

The two alert cards panicked as they rush in to try and stop her.  Chariot runs to the other side of the table and pushes Temperance's hands back as she was raising them to fluff it out with her two jugs.  She looks towards him as if to ask what he was doing only to notice that his face was still blackened from his uneventful face fault into Junk Man's hot oil bath.

"What's wrong, Danny...?  We're out of water...?" she sighs before turning her jugs towards him, smiling happily, "No worries.  I've got plenty of it."

Before Chariot could shake his head and protest, both jugs spewed water into his face.  Due to his still recovering stamina, the seemingly safe-pouring water dealt just enough force to throw him against the cages that once held the Berbils, leaving him half dazed (and surprisingly clean) as he slides to a hard crash on his rump.

"That's better!" Temperance quips before pulling the top ends of the jug back together to continue cycling water, "Now....  Where was I...?"

Erika suddenly flies into her face, trying her hardest to push her back despite still being in card form, leaving her at half her original strength.  Temperance sighs again, this time with a hint of annoyance.

"You too...?" she backs away and holds one of the jugs towards Erika, "Very well....  I'll help you wash Leo...."

By the time Erika turns the card around to see the jug, a near monstrosity of water flies out of the jug and pulverizes her, slamming her against the side wall.  Once the water recedes, both Erika and Leo were pinned against the painted background of their card, wide eyed and stunned by the force as the card slides down the wall and drops, face first, onto the floor.

Temperance looks around her, noticing the two opposing cards laying dazed on the floor, "Ah....  Now we're all clean and ready for bed...."

Her eyes begin to sag again, "You know what?  Forget fluffing up that nice comfortable cloud....  I'm just going to collapse on it...."

She then falls gently on top of the mummified figure, still keeping the top end of the jugs facing each other as water continues to cycle through them.

Seeing the dots disappear all at once, Chariot assumed he hit the near fatal jackpot and pulls his visor up, heaving a pained sigh of relief as he goes to pick up the horn he yanked off earlier.  He didn't want to fight any of WilyII's Robot Masters, knowing he'd use it as an excuse to keep Hajime working at his side without profit or consideration to the balance he's been trying to keep between his business and sociability, but with something that small and hard to detect, he had no choice but to defend himself and the cards that dispersed from the deck.

But now he was faced with a bigger problem then just figuring out where Death ran off to.  Because his body was dependent on his armor to defend and endure every blow that came at him, his recovery from said blows were taking a long time to heal, leaving him agonized and weakened to the point of barely being able to walk without support from his spear.  He could just sit down and rest the pain off, but he shouldn't let his current opportunity to be outside the card go to waste and starts hobbling down the hallway in search of Death's elusive whereabouts.

Temperance twitched and stirred as the heat of the melting door starts to bother her.

"Too...hot...." she mutters as she hauls herself to her feet and begins heading towards the doorway leading back into the station, "I'm moving to a cooler room."

Erika and Lovers panic as they saw Temperance began swaying out of the hanger.

"Ah no!  Not while we still have a few more layers to torch through!" Erika gripes.

"Whadda we do!?" Lovers cried, "We can't leave Chika alone, but we can't let that mean ol' man see her!"

Erika turns to Lovers, "You stay here and keep an eye on Sun!  I'll go and shake some sense into Temperance!"

She then storms out of the room after the lingering angel, grumbling to herself about whether Hajime had given her enough energy to function properly on activation.  Lovers watches them leave before looking back towards Sun.

"Hawy, Chika!" she yelps, "Or we'll both be captured by dose scawy-wooking wobats!"

The Sun suddenly stops and turns to Lovers, waving her arms and legs about while fussing in frustration at all the pressure being laid on her.  Lovers just sat on Giuseppe, flustered and confused.

"I'm sowwy, Chika!  I don' wanna upset you anymore than I aweady am!" her eyes start to well, "But if we don' get outta here soon, we'll both be in twable!"

She the cries fearfully, which in turn causes Sun to start crying and flaying even more.

Death's smirk only widens, "No matter how many edges there are to a neutral sword, or how sharp and favored each of them are, in the end they must all converge onto a single, unanimous point in order to cripple a threat much greater and universal than anything money can buy."

She then floats out of the room, leaving Dan to ponder what that means.

Seeing the barely visible dots zip towards him a third time, Chariot decides to use this opportunity to deploy a desperate attempt to keep himself from being WilyII's first stab at dissecting an animate data card.  He bites the base of his spear, clamps both hands onto the flat edges of the axe-shaped horn atop his helmet and thrusts it towards the center of the oncoming projectiles, hoping one of them is the core, and that very core isn't as transparent as the rest of the dots that were painfully fazing through his body.

Due to the horn being narrow in width, however, most of Pixel Man's parts missed getting caught in its trajectory and impaled themselves through whatever part of the body wasn't lined up along its height.  His bite increased to the point of cracking the part of the spear he had his teeth on as he struggles to push through the pain and keep focused on where the horn had hit, pulling the spear out of his mouth and holding it in front of him in case his only easily thrown projectile didn't do its job.

"Oh, you know, reaction, whether you would ignore the shrieking shroom or jump out of your circuits at the mere volume of his voice," Death mused, "Not all robots outside the ones made by Hajime would flinch at anything that would normally startle a living being born of flesh and blood."

She wiggles her eyebrows, "In other words, I wanted to use your sentience as a distraction to release me so I can get out of here and return to the Robot Masters who may already be at the Star, helping Hajime rebuild it as per your doctor's request.  Much as he knows tampering with me or any other robot built by Hajime would end up costing him dough, I'd much rather it not be me he would feel tempted to open up.  (I also wanted to make you jump in surprise, but letting me go works just as well)"

Death was itching to say it just to smite Afro, but because she needs to be alive in order to avoid being experimented on, she figures it was best not to try her luck.

"Oh, c'mon, don't tell me you've never heard of the word 'sentient'...." she mused, "The ability to react like a human, think like a human, maybe even behave in a way that was never in your programming."

She leans towards the frame of her card, resting her elbow on its threshold while placing her head on the connecting hand, "Any normal robot programmed to kill wouldn't even respond to the cries of a terrified shroom.  The fact that you let delicate, momentarily useless li'l me go to shut your friend up indicates that you have more personal desires than even his money vacuum of a doctor."

Pixel Man may have visually lowered his chances of being detected to that of near nonexistent dust particles, but his volume needed work as Chariot quickly turns around and and swings his spear down in the direction he heard the voice coming from.  Unfortunately, the attack had already sprung, and by the time he got halfway through his swing, the dust-size dots that represented the ridiculously small Robot Master flew through his body, riddling him with more pain.

Being the Chariot, however, he has stronger endurance to pain (when not caught by surprise), and the second the pixels flew past him, he pulls his spear out and swings it at the passing dots, trying to disperse their particles while assuming they were some type of homing device that had been attacking him since he began feeling these out of nowhere jabs.

Chariot suddenly feels several parts of his body riddle with pain, forcing him to bite back the urge to scream while falling flat onto his face.  Struggling to ride through the pain, he staggers to his feet, pulling another spear out of some unexplained space under his cape and looks to where he felt the pain hit him, finding nothing there.

No doubt it had to be that unseen intruder Leo and Giuseppe sniffed out earlier, but Chariot can't afford to just swing his spear around wildly lest he look like a moron hitting something that, as far as he was concerned couldn't be seen by normal eyes.

Thankfully, the lion visors weren't just there for decoration as he pulls it over his head and scans around for electrodes that outline who was attacking him and where they were coming from.

Sun eventually runs out of breath and stops a moment to recollect her self, still maintaining her cheerful outlook while panting like a dog.  Erika growls in frustration.

"Whoever made that door is gonna be sorry if World ever focuses on us long enough to materialize us from our cards!"

Lovers flew over to Sun and pats her on the head, "Don' wawy, Chika!  Just take a few bwaths, then twy again!"

Sun lets out a cute "waa" while giggling at Lovers' tickling pat before taking another breath and spewing flames at the same spot she blew at earlier.

(I figure I post this again in case anyone missed it)

Death puckered her lips to one side, feeling her fun had been interrupted too abruptly, before regaining her smug expression.

"So then...." she mused, "Just how sentient are you?"

"What do you mean?" Dan almost demanded.  Death's smirk widens as she pops halfway out of her card and whispers to Afro.

"I'm haunting you!"

Out of instinct, Afro rears his head back and starts screaming, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-!!!"

Dan nonchalantly lets go of Death and bashes Afro upside the head to shut him up.  Death snidely waves "bye-bye" before making a break for the R&D Lab exit.

Having found out that the hanger door was closed, Chariot lets go of the two cards and Sun, drops Temperance against a nearby wall, and begins trying to open it in every way he could from using brute strength to using his spear as a car jack (until it broke in half after a few failed pumps).

Erika fumes at their current predicament, "Man!  Why couldn't World zap us with her materializing beam!?  I could have easily ripped that door open in no time flat!"

Lovers places her hands near her chin, "But we still need to find Tabitha!  I don't wan ta imagine wat that old man will do to her if he finds her!"

Chariot lets out a begrudged sigh before looking towards Sun in reluctance, "Alright, fine.  Why don't you make yourself useful and torch a hole into that door while I go figure out where Death ran off to."

Sun cheerfully stands straight and salutes before floating off towards the door and using her fire breath to melt the hack-job that was welded over the opening made by the Berbils earlier, while Chariot exasperatedly marches off back into the hallways to search for Death.

World eventually finds the blueprints stashed away in one of WilyII's computer and sends it to Hajime's mech for verification.

"Alright," Hajime nods while pressing a button to share the information with the rest of the Robot Masters.  Everyone nods as they went to work gathering the pieces of the Star that haven't drifted too far and pushing them back to where it was originally positioned.

As this was going on, Hajime decides to switch to a map overlooking the entire RPM galaxy, wanting to make sure the few remaining Resistance hasn't spotted them and attempted an assault while the rest were still battling somewhere on the planet.

Jade watched, seemingly nonchalant, at RMZX's departure.  He didn't seem to be aware that the other Berbils would have been able to get one of those robots back up and running, but considering how focused they are on helping the Resistance, and would most likely see RMZX as a waste of time at the moment, she felt it was probably best to just leave him alone and go back to helping Joe get back to normal.

Jade looks away a bit, placing her claw on the side of her snout, before rushing out after RMZX.

"Berbil Jade may not understand human emotion, but Berbil Jade at least give information in case Grumpy Boy decides to bring robot back to life."

RMZX attempts to ignore her as he continues on, "Berbils understand that any company that goes out of business will either sell their completed projects, or throw them into the nearest Junkyard they can find.  Perhaps if Grumpy Boy searches RPM Junkyard, there may be robot from Lightcorp lying about that can serve as substitute for the robot you care so much for.[/font]"

(Actually, April owning an antique shop started in either one or two of the three movies that came out near the late 80s/early 90s.  And her with the sword was in later additions of the Archie TMNT comics, even spawning her own series for a time, at least to my knowledge)

(Not to mention all the other odds and ends she got lumped with throughout her evolution; such as said sword fighting, running an antique shop the turtles occasionally hang out in, being a former assistant to Baxter, having a crush on Donatello that is in no way promoting bestiality (As far as I can tell from the few episodes I saw of the Nick Toons remake), do I need to go on? -_-)
