Hierophant witnessed the dark knight stab Sapph straight through the chest before using his aura to slam him into a tree.  Synthis charges out to retaliate, but the knight disappeared by the time he lept over the bush.  Hierophant grits his teeth before running over to Sapph and pointing his staff towards his wound.

"Curaja!"

His staff glows brightly as two large sparkles circled around Sapph before entering the wound and shrinking it into a somewhat ugly scar.  He stands a moment and looks around for the knight's whereabouts while waiting for Pyro to appear, having sensed him following after them earlier.

Hierophant grits his teeth again as the harmful beams coursed through his body, adding ten more levels of pain to his already agonized systems.

"What do you want me to do then...?" he yelps between strained grunts, "I already told you want you wanted to hear...!  Couldn't you just leave it at that and go back to whatever world-dominating schemes you might be cooking up on your computer...?"

Hierophant watched as the two head into the Pokemon Center before looking towards Genbu, Ryo, Posu, and Nega, "You best head inside and keep an eye on them in case anymore threats try to jeopardize this city.  I'm sure you've been through a lot yourselves and need time to recuperate from that earlier situation."

Though they were equally reluctant, they nod in agreement and followed Quickie and Sakura inside.  Hierophant observed one last time before heading back into the woods with Synthis following close beside him.

How could anything involving Team Rocket be dark? They're like... the least threatening thing ever.

Hierophant looked between Sakura and Quickie, unsure of who he should be siding with.  Rest should be the top priority, but at the same time letting Quickie stew, feeling she should be helping Sapph in a fight that was clearly between him and his source of anger would only make the effort more strenuous.

He lets out a reluctant sigh and hands Quickie back over to Sakura, "I'll go keep an eye on your friend and bring him back if anything happens.  I haven't fought a whole lot and want to make up for not doing my part to keep this town, and your friends safe."

Synthis rubs his leg, wanting to go with him since he, himself feels equally responsible for not paying attention to more than one situation.  Hierophant looks towards him in concern, but nods in agreement and acceptance for his aide.

Hierophant's compressed lips tightened before walking over to Quickie and pulling her free arm around the back of his neck.

"Let's hurry, but I suggest you don't rush into an already ensuing fight when we get there, or you might damage more than just your Pokemon and yourself."

Ryo tugs on Hierophant's legs wondering why he wasn't acknowledging Quickie's crumbling state.  Hierophant looks between him and Quickie before sighing and scratching the back of his head.

"Somehow, I don't think it's just her paralysis that's holding her down...." he mutters, "In any case, we should worry about the other guy that ran off...."

He then places his duffel bag on the ground, whispering the usual password to make it flash before reaching in and pulling out another bottle of blue liquid, yanking the cork out and guzzling it down until his entire body sparkled slightly and some of his magical energy returns.  He then walks over to Quickie and holds his staff towards her.

"Cura!"

His staff glows as glistening lights surround Quickie, recharging enough of her energy to help her ward off the paralysis that was locking her joints.

"No....  I don't think he would...." Hierophant mutters as he walks out of the Pokemon Center, carrying Genbu in his arms while the remaining four followed behind him, "I caught a glimpse of his emotional energy just as he was leaving with the rest of Team Rocket; eight swords hover around him with two more just waiting to join the onslaught of the other eight.  That man must have done something to force him to submit to his rule and help in incapacitating Mewtwo."

Hierophant compresses his lips as he continues to watch the aftermath of the situation.  Many of the trainers were in a similar predicament as Quickie, having suffered their own episode of voltage trying to fight off the grunts who either beat their Pokemon into a bloodied heap of unconsciousness or swiped them based on their rarity.

He only had enough magical energy for one more spell, and while he can rectify this problem with another Ether, he wasn't about to abandon his current objective to buy another batch.  Still, he can't stand by and watch the entire town struggle to right themselves when they have their own problems to take care of.  Heaving a hopeful sigh, he points his staff towards the trainers closest to the Pokemon Center.

"Curaja!"

Anyone who heard the voice noticed a glowing ball of light appear from the shadows of the woods as it disperses and surrounds them with bright, encircling sparks, relieving the pain they had suffered during their stunned and agonized situation.  He stands in the shadow, watching before making his way towards the Pokemon Center with Synthis following close beside him, catching Ryo's attention as his emotional presence rippled through his youthful aura senses.  Posu, Nega, and Genbu, though lacking the same aura-sensing abilities as Ryo, knew he had noticed Hierophant presence and moved closer to hear what he had to say.

"I'm sorry," he mutters low enough for them to hear, "I suppose I should have paid more attention to what was going on right in front of me instead of getting involved in a situation that may not have anything to do with the safety of the town...."

The Pokemon look to each other, unsure of how to respond to this.  Hierophant sighs before looking towards Ryo.

"I don't mean to do this, but could you use your Foresight on us?  I used the last of my magical energy to cure most of the towns folk and don't have enough to dispel our vanish status."

Ryo compresses his lips before firing a transparent red beam from his eyes, bringing Hierophant and Synthis back to their normal, tangible existence.

"You think he'd want to jeopardize your task just to see you balder than you already are...?" Hierophant pants strenuously, "I thought he made it clear that anything the scattered cards have done is out of his control and responsibilities...."

"Oh really...?" WilyII sneers while leaning closer towards Hierophant, "Then if he isn't taking responsibility for your shenanigans, who is?  I believe I heard him say that certain robots from his series have obligations even HE wasn't aware of, so perhaps if you would be so kind as to point out who I SHOULD be exacting my own sweet revenge on, MAYBE I would be less inclined to blame him for everything you and whatever cards are still loose in this station have caused me thus far!"

Hierophant shook a bit as he struggles to pull his head away from WilyII's aging breath only to press his cheek against the table, "I seriously suggest you don't get that party involved....  You're already having enough problems dealing with the Resistance; do you really want another opposing force jeopardizing your plans?"

Hierophant grit his teeth as the beams hit, letting out nothing more than an long-winded, agonized grunts as screaming would only destroy his voice box faster.  Once the beams dissipated he practically goes limp on the table, struggling to breathe through the agony still coiling around his body.

Genbu ran to the door upon seeing the grunts retreating, followed quickly by Ryo, Posu and Nega, surrounding the glass on either side of the sliding doors.  Despite knowing they had fallen into a trap, they still couldn't let the wild Pokemon and the Center fall into Team Rocket's cruel expectations.

They looked to each other, pondering what they should do.  Finding the Everstone remains their top priority, but because they witnessed a kidnapping in progress they were most likely expected to help out.

Hierophant, meanwhile, sensed the sudden dwindling onslaught and runs back towards the town to find the Team Rocket parade preparing to leave.  His Vanish spell was still active, making him invisible to normal eyes.  Compressing his lips, he looks between his and Blazkrieg's Pokemon still in the Center, then the fight between Sapph and the immortal knight before reluctantly running back towards the Center to check up on the Pokemon he was tasked with helping and protecting.

"I'm sorry....  But I'm finding your accusation really hard to believe when your computer is still showing the true culprit behind that blackout...." Hierophant mutters in confusion as he glances towards on one of the monitors showing Null Man's last memories fighting a group of Digimon, and another showing a battle between their supposed owners.

"This probably isn't any of my business, but don't you have other people you should be keeping an eye on?" Hierophant mutters nervously.

WilyII's smirk only widens in more eagerness, "Maybe you should have thought of that before you started messing with my controls worse than that Berbil who jeopardized my plans earlier."

Hierophant swallows hard as he futilely presses his back further against the table, tightening his furrowed eyebrows to the point of slightly disfiguring his youthful features, "I-I swear!  I had no intentions of messing with your computer beyond repairing it from an earlier accident!"

Hearing this caused a vein to swell upon WilyII's forehead, "Earlier...accident...?"

Hierophant flinched upon realizing what he had just blurted out.  He had to be careful what he said lest he gets Emperor and Death involved in this rising fiasco.

"I-it's not what you might be thinking," he mutters, struggling hard to keep his calm demeanor, "I was completely lost during that blackout, trying to find a way out of here and where the other cards might be, and I just...happened to find your computer mashed against the ceiling and decided to repair it with my white magic...?"

WilyII's glare only worsened, followed by the transparent presence of eight wands hovering around him, all aimed at wanting to fly into his soul like arrows.  Hierophant compress his lips while scrunching his head further into his shoulders.

"You're...not buying all this, are you...?" he mutters meekly.

(Bring me over to me....  Good luck getting Oracle Man to figure out how to achieve that! 8D)

It wasn't long before the Oracle Man parade reaches the control room, the seven clones holding Hierophant over their heads as those holding his arms and legs stretched them out to keep him from trying to wiggle free and further "mess" with WilyII's controls.

As they were making their way to the control room, the original Oracle Man contacts WilyII through his internal communicator.

"Please excuse any interruptions we may cause, Master," he began, "But we have finally managed to corner and capture the intruder.  Unless further noted, we are bringing him to the command room to await further commands."

"And what about the card that was following him around?" WilyII demanded, "I swore I saw another in the same state of invisibility as him!"

"We believed the priest boy was your more pressing concern," Oracle Man said, "The card that trailed his every direction doesn't appear to be anymore of a threat than he, but we believe your new ally can handle it and any other cards may be running loose in the station, so our only concern is restraining the priest boy for your personal deeds."

He looks over to Hierophant who, despite still being conscious hasn't budged since being grabbed and hauled off the ground, only staring at the primary Oracle Man with concern and fret of what's going to happen to him, "However, it seems we have caused more damage than necessary as the priest boy hasn't moved since we deactivated his invisibility spell.  If you truly intend to keep him alive for any reason, you may need to be careful not to inflict any further damage that may end him."

The chase lasted a few more feet from the scrapyard before Hierophant caught sight of the original Oracle Man teleporting in front of him and Death.  The card had just caught up to him, too focused on staying within his presence to not notice the turban-wearing robot conjuring up an Oracle Beam to fire at their more focused target.

Not wanting to risk her getting caught in the blast and inevitably forced to reveal their own plans, Hierophant slams his hand against the back of Death's card, shoving her through the wall, pulling his hand back out just as the original Oracle Man unleashed his magical projectile, all but engulfing his central body.

Hierophant grit his teeth from the slowly rising pain, looking around as the other seven found their way through other corners of the hallway and followed suit with their own Oracle Beams, blowing away what invisibility remained until the ensuing force throws him towards a nearby wall.

Death jumped back out into the hallway in time to see Hierophant crumble to a near agonized position on his knees with one hand and elbow struggling to keep him from completely face-faulting to the floor.  The seven clones turned their Oracle Sights upon her, gearing up to do the same only to be sharply interrupted by the original.

"Enough," he calls out, "Master Wily II is more interested in the priest boy than any other intruder that might have followed him in.  If necessary, we'll let his new ally pick them up."

Hierophant turns a pained eye towards two of the Oracle Man clones who drifted over, grabbed him by the elbows and shoulders, and hauled him clear off the ground, the other four grabbing his wings and ripping them off his back in a dissipating shower of feathers to ensure he doesn't try flying away before they grab every other joint on his body and carry him off towards the Control Room to deliver his inescapable fate.  Death watched, gripping her scythe in aggravation before flying off towards the scrapyard to unleash her wrath on Emperor's selfish being.

Ryo, Posu and Nega observed the Legendary Pokemon firing their Aura Spheres at the ship before looking to each other and nodding.  Using their Copycat abilities, they conjured up their own Aura Spheres using their paws and fired them at the ship to further disorient and scare them off.

Genbu, meanwhile, looked back inside upon hearing commotion coming from the lobby where the wild Pokemon were being stationed at and rushes back to find more Team Rocket grunts snatching and hauling them towards the ceiling where they seemingly busted in.  Growling in aggravation, he points his bonzai-size tree towards the grunts and unleashed a massive Leaf Storm, unhindered by his current shrunken size thanks to being a Special attack rather than a physical.

Hierophant seemed impressed that the two haven't faltered, allowing the other to take advantage of them, but then ponders what kind of backup Sapph mentioned when the knight taunted his lack of presence with the battle back near the Pokemon Center.

Back at said center, Ryo flinched upon sensing the ripples of the returning feisty Pokemon Center and springs to his feet, inadvertently hauling Posu and Nega off the ground as he runs for the back door, prompting Genbu to follow after him in both curiosity and concern for his well being.  Peering out the window, they see the giant ship hovering near the back with more Team Rocket grunts flying down by zipline towards the center, either to cause further distraction or to take the wild Pokemon that were still inside.

Ryo growled in frustration.  His inexperienced in the ways of cheerleading had already proven themselves when he was targeted and attacked by the grunts.  Now he has no choice but to fight back the old fashion way just to protect the wild Pokemon that have yet to comprehend the difference between bad and good humans.

Posu and Nega squeaked towards his well being, wanting him to wait a bit for his health to recover, but he merely looks towards them and barks for their assistance, causing them to brighten up and follow him outside to confront the grunts while Genbu reluctantly follows, trusting that his lack of strength won't hamper his ability to aide in this oncoming fight.

Hierophant stopped behind one of the trees, having cast Vanish on himself and Synthis along the way.  Upon catching up to the two, he finds Sapph facing off against what looked like a knight even more medieval looking than himself.

The knight claimed to be immortal by magic most likely hailing from a universe far different from where he originally called home.  And judging by their man-to-man combat as opposed to the more traditional Pokemon battles, it's more than likely his reason for coming here wasn't in the same league as the Team Rocket onslaught back in town.

Synthis nudges his side again, egging him for a command, but Hierophant only glanced between him and the newest fight before them.

"Not now...." he whispered low enough for only Synthis' sharp hearing to pick up, "There doesn't seem to be anyone else other than him picking the fight, so there's no point outnumbering him until the more trustworthy guy falls first...."

Synthis purrs lowly in frustration, but once again trusts that Hierophant knows what he's doing when it comes to timing their intervention and looks back towards the battle between humans.

Ryo grunts as he struggles to get back up, but the still dissipating energy stiffened his joints, making the effort more difficult than it should be.

"Keep still, Ryo," Hierophant suggests, "If you keep moving like this, it'll only take longer for the effects to wear off."

Posu and Nega soon flank Ryo's side once again, placing their hands on his chest and knees and using their sacks to drain what little still crawled within his systems.  They look back outside, lamenting the neck-throttling conflict between the trainers in the town and Team Rocket grunts fighting back with their stun weapons.  It was then that Hierophant noticed one of the trainers running out of the Pokemon Center and towards the woods, his focus appearing to be locked on another overlord of sorts lurking within.

He can't help but think this was some kind of trap to separate the trainers from each other, but at the same time he isn't sure how Sapph will hold up rushing towards the source like a brash Rhyhorn.

"Genbu, stay here and keep an eye on Ryo, Posu, and Nega," he said towards the Torterra before turning his attention to his Leafeon, "Synthis, come with me!  I want to see what that guy's up to and if he can handle whoever's drawing him out into the open."

Synthis and Genbu bark in acknowledgement as the Leafeon follows Hierophant out of the Pokemon Center and to where Sapph had run off to, leaving Genbu to tend to Ryo's recovering predicament; Posu and Nega still filtering the electricity coursing through his body.

A few of the Team Rocket grunts surround Ryo, Posu and Nega, each holding a different brand of stun weapon.

"Hey!  Lookie here!" one chortles, "Where're your trainers?"

"I don't see a name tag or dog collar anywhere," another chuckles, "They must be strays just waiting to be captured and turned into our loyal pets."

The third grunt points a stun stick towards Ryo, "Target the Riolu first!  It'll make a fine addition to our army once it's been...coaxed into our establishment!"

Ryo yelped as he, Posu and Nega split from the oncoming stun weapons.  But the Riolu didn't get far when another grunt appears in front of him and thrusts another stun stick towards him, hitting him square in the chest and filling up full of electricity, locking up every joint in his body.  Several more surround Ryo and jab their own weapons into him further pumping him full of electricity and increasing the paralysis preventing him from fighting back.

Just as the grunts were about to smirk at their success, Posu and Nega flank Ryo's sides, grabbing his arm and using their electrical abilities to shift the currents onto them.

"Pli!  Pli-li!" Posu shouts, getting Ryo's attention as he strains a glance towards her.

"Mi Mi!" Nega calls out, drawing Ryo's strained glance towards him.

Taking in whatever they were squeaking to him, Ryo nods and tosses the two cheering Pokemon in the air, allowing them to unleash a Discharge attack, amplified by the electrical energy unleashed by the grunt's stun weapons and their own stored electricity.  Ryo watches before spreading his arms out and unleashing his own Discharge attack using both his Copycat abilities and what little electricity coursed through his systems.

"Ack!  What's this!?" one of the grunts cries as the electrical storm plows through him and the other grunts, "Since when did Riolu use electricity!?"

"Its not!" another calls out, "It must be using Copycat!"

"Fall back!  The weapons are only increasing the energy of their attack!"

Hierophant watched from inside, unsure of how much longer the trio can last before the grunts snap back to attention and attempt to use some other means of knocking them out.  Not wanting to let that happen, he runs to the door as it slides open and pulls Ryo in, prompting Posu and Nega to follow after them.

"Hey you!  Are those your Pokemon!?" startled grunt snarls as he confronts him, "You're gonna pay for interfering with our business!"

He lifts his stun pole to stab and incapacitate Hierophant only to be rammed in the gut by Synthis' Tackle attack, ramming him into the other grunts and knocking them to the ground.  Hierophant compresses his lips as he brings his staff out and points it at the grunts.

"Miracle Beam!"

The orb glows brightly as a surge of white sparks surrounded the grunts standing within its glow, causing slight pain, but jarring enough of their senses to further startle them away from the Pokemon Center.  Hierophant takes this time to usher Synthis back inside while backing up himself before the double doors slid shut, cutting off any further connection between his staff and the grunts affected by it.

They quickly run to Ryo as he struggles to sit up, still dazed and slightly handicapped by what little electricity continues to course through his systems.  Thankfully it was a quickly dying process that would only take a few minutes of rest before he is back on his feet, giving some relief to Hierophant both for Ryo's safety and the lack of need to waste anymore magical energy for the time being.
