I meant the concept of a quick character, who has a gun also.

I always thought the guns were a cool addition to the gameplay, and seemed to flow well in concept. However, it being a "Sonic" game kinda made it a little big of a departure most people were not willing to accept.

Yeah, for the longest time I didn't ever know how to get the 100%. I never imagined losing would be a criteria, nor did I ever lose... I only found out when I saw someone mention it.

actually, N-Mario is kinda right, well is just a muck up screen, but, since Phil put A LOT of effort on designing those, i guess you should came up with something more original but still in the lines of the stage and the Robot masters, like how about, a mirror tile that "directs" a light laser in diagonal that hurts you and changes direction a la yoku blocks?

I bet the X6 team put a lot of effort into Shield Sheldon stage too. Maybe Phil should be asking X6's team for permission to use the idea.

Completely laughable, as if Phil somehow invented age old game concepts. Are you people some kind of mindless cult for Phil?

The stage design looks nice, but I'm not impressed with the RainBow Man lasers & mirror trap. Did you get permission from Phil to use this for the game?

He needs permission from Phil to use a preexisting game mechanic, that has even been used within the series in question before? Laughable.

It has been confirmed that Makoto and them will not have story or arcade modes.

WHAAAAAA???

How much are they planning to charge for these additions? It better not be a lot since we don't even get that with it.

Oh, right, I forgot to mention that I got CS on Tuesday. I only really did some versus so far, and Hazama's arcade mode. The 'TV'(see also, make shift TV out of my spare monitor) got annexed today for other purposes, so I didn't get to play it.

So when exactly do we get the DLC characters? I want Hellsing. He looks awesome.

BlazBlue is a shitty fighter with terrible characters and an equally terrible story with ugly unpolished sprites, bad music by Ishiwatari's standards and subpar gameplay. That's all you'll ever need to know about it. Ignore all the hype surrounding this game, only '09ers like it. 8D

I like the 6 button, or 3 button the most. Having that middle variety for moves is a very good tactical addition in my opinion. I just feel there aren't usually enough options of attack with simply a strong and heavy, even if two sets.

Even the 3 button layout is preferable to me over 4, since you have a middle option. Also works better than 6 at times when fighters have a wide variety of characters who use many attacking styles, including weaponry combat. See also BlazBlue.

By the way, what are we calling the ugly Megaman from the cover art? Cover Megaman? We need an official name for this [tornado fang]er.

Megaman US1
or
Megaman AM1

Looks pretty sweet. Not a fan of Tekken at all, but it should be interesting to see how it all translates into Street Fighter style.

At the very least it'll be a cool Street Fighter with a little more over the top moves and system it looks like.

Haters man; they hate. Also, Battle Network isn't Yu-Gi-Oh.

They try to make a 'deep' dramatic story out of... kids playing with internet avatars. Yeah, pretty Yu-Gi-Oh. You even get to collect 'cards'.

SNK is the guy batting 100 balls hoping it'll result in some home runs. Capcom is the guy taking his time and lining up to make sure every hit is a home run or damn close.

SNK has had some great games, among many other not so great games.
Capcom has been consistently great for the most part, but has far less games.

I like a mix and match really. I like Ken Masters, Alex, and Chunli, but I also like Kyo 2k, Iori, and Terry Bogard. Third Strike and Garou are my favorites from each company. Not counting the crossovers, KOF2000 and 2002 are probably my other SNK favorites, and SSFIV and Alpha3 are my other Capcom favorites.

I definitely prefer 6 buttons over 4 though. I guess CVS2 is the happy middle road. I love that game.

I was one of the few people who liked that game for what it was instead of complaining that it wasn't like the others

Sonic 3D Blast was BOSS.

Honestly, if they aren't filling customer demand, then tough [parasitic bomb] for them.

They should go for simultaneous releases, in a cheap digital format, much like they stream officially translated Naruto and One Piece subbed now. Like for example, a Jump site that has a monthly/issue subscription for digital translated manga in a simultaneous release. There are way too many series to be charging per title really. They should stick to the weekly batch issue scheme, just digitally, and sell them per issue, or some monthly/weekly fee.

So I finally can try out the Arcade leak of CS, because I have new and more or less decent card.

Character sprites are invisible.

[tornado fang].

Anyone knows a remedy?

It was built for one specific system configuration. If your specs do not match, then you may have severe glitches. I know on my older PC, it works PERFECT. On my new PC, when Jin freezes a character, they turn frosty, but the ice sprite is missing and sometimes there is layering issues with Unlimited Hazama's effects. On my friend's everything goes batshit crazy on some stages making it unplayable. You just have to be lucky with the right video hardware.

In short, there is NO remedy other than buying the correct hardware.
