Am I the only one who voted for Neon Tiger?

You're not alone.

For someone who doesn't like the EXE series, this is a real compliment to the picture.

You should check out my comments on that one EXE fan game. Be amazed.

As a Castlevania fan, I have to go with the guy who uses a whip. A thorn whip no less. Long live Simon's Quest.

I still don't get how this is what was described by Inafune earlier. Honestly it looks like Powered Up 2, without looking gay. That is pretty cool. Looks like a budget title though.

but also, is it any good (the game I mean)?

No. It's terrible. Do not waste your money.

Get Lords of Shadow instead when it comes out.

Send it back again, and make sure they know their first fix did NOT work. Honestly it sounds like a lose cable, not a heatsink part... How a heatsink has any effect on an LCD screen is beyond me.

So, the color on your monitor is distorted? Did you try... cleaning / readjusting your monitor cable?

wow, not every day you see a fan game using the Megaman 7 style.

Probably because B&G ruined that style for everyone.

I played the demo a little while back. It was pretty solid. I liked it.

Terminator syndrome. I kinda liked the idea that he wasn't the same persoon. Oh well, mind [tornado fang] ahoy. I should have expected as much out of BB.

That's pretty interesting. An in-game mix.

Oh wow. That is pretty badass.

before i go too far with this to the point where it's impossible for me to ever go back due to over-writing all the code related to stage select and the save screen specifically...

You could try... backing up?

Sounds like a neat idea though, since you're already going outside the classic Megaman norm anyway.

893
Well now, this is quite interesting. I can't wait to see what kinda data we can pull off of this.

You know what's crazy? All the time I mentioned here (and other sites) that I freakin' hated Metroid so much so many times... but now... I seem to like it.

I kinda do look forward to Metroid Other M, a game for 2D (Platformer) and 3D (FPS) fans.

The only Metroid games I own so far are: Metroid Prime (also included a Bonus Disc for MP 2: Echoes), Metroid Fusion, Metroid (unlocked by using NGC GBA Cable), and Super Metroid (downloaded on my Wii).

But by far, my favorite game is "Metroid Fusion".

Gee I thought Super Metroid was the worst game ever according to you. See now, this is what happens when you actually play the game before forming a retarded opinion.

I haven't even gotten that far. Lan's dad went into a meeting, and I took a side quest off the BBS, completed it, and that's as far as I got so far.

The DLL file you linked to fixed it. Thanks.

Holy crap. It was worth the wait. This is a fan game with some talent behind it!

You guys captured the essence of the EXE series almost to a 't'. I have to say I'm very impressed. It felt like an official game, even right down to the writing. It even made me laugh too.

Here are a few things I noticed:
- I got a Reflect chip from battling a mettaur, but it never showed up in my pack. Later on in the demo I got another one, and it did go into my pack. I got a third, and it added it to the pack, so I had two total at that point.

- Dog house script triggered by SciLab console (image attached)

- Shouldn't Megaman's buster be able to fire faster the closer he is to the opponent? I thought I remember that from the EXE series.

- Holding a direction through a room change doesn't keep you moving. You have to release and press down again. Minor, but annoying.

Overall, this is an extremely impressive demo. I only wish there were more options for button settings and such. I got around it with Joy2Key but still.
