Or perhaps due to the upcoming movie? I assume it will be an origins story like Iron Man. No sense in confusing and alienating the common movie goer.

Can't say I'm much of a Shuma fan, but the sheer technical aspect of getting his 2D look and moves (with all that morphing) into such a faithful 3D representation is quite impressive. This goes double for Morrigan, but I think Shuma has much more of a 'transformation' aspect visually than her.

Or cut it up into 4.

Ob-je-cti-on. Graphically of course, not spoken oddly.

I recall when TVC was out an interview mentioned Phoenix was talked about, albeit jokingly, and the "OBJECTION!" speech bubble was a move, that hit on each syllable of the word.

I got it when it came out, but I have yet to really sit down and play it.

What killed the whole thing for me, was the lack of co-op without completing the whole story mode beforehand. If Gundam Musou can, why can't Hokuto? I don't care if it's a non story character or whatever. I always played the Gundam ones co-op with a friend, and I was GOING to do the same with this game, but when we discovered that it wouldn't let us until I cleared the game solo, it got shelved. Maybe I'll try it in the future some time.

Try checking the booklet that came with it. Usually it's pretty obvious, sometimes sealed with a screw. If all else fails, google it.

It could very well be burned out or damaged form an impact or short. If the battery pull doesn't fix anything, consider getting it fixed, or replaced.

Youre not set to rotate. You have to press Traingle.

They don't do unlimited online because tards would setup matches and leave them to be dicks and it would bog down the server.

I don't mind the rotation between three people though. It does give me time for a cup of tea at least. A little break isn't so bad. I would have preferred to see the match itself though.

This timelimit bull is really pissing me off. That's twice we were down to the wire and it was anyone's game. I really hate that. Considering it's a 3v3 system they should have upped the time or added more, longer, time options.

Yeah, the lack of air dash for every character is a little annoying since I'm so use to it from BBCS. Great game though, with an impressively diverse cast. It's a tad laggy but a hell of a lot better than TVC. It's playable.

Max level is 60 and you cannot max all skill trees.

Forcing you to replay it all over again to see it all?

Ya know, locking people out of features like that is a little... wrong. Unless you are going to allow people to get refunds for skills, I'd say that's a little bit harsh. What if the ability they didn't happen to reach was the one that worked best for them? What if it was a move that they really would have enjoyed much more, and it fit their style?

I've always thought that the irreversible upgrade system where you cannot get everything was pretty bad design.

The GBA version is better because, sadly, it has better mixing and samples. I don't believe you should limit yourself to the GBA's sound capabilities, but I do think the music needs a lot more work.

Like'd.

I should pick this one up, and Roll as well. I got the Rockman one.

Just about everyone I know is getting this for PS3, so I am as well. I still know a few people who will get the 360 one too though, so ugh. I feel like I have to buy the game twice, but that'd be ridiculous.

Until X4, I always just used my thumb to lay over the dash button, and never had a problem with it. After beating X4, waiting for X5, I went back and said "shoulder button probably makes a hell of a lot more sense" and had to retrain myself to use it, haha. Now I tried later for kicks to use to the old method, but I couldn't understand how the hell I ever did it that way. It doesn't work for me now. It's a good thing I did retrain myself, since Z1 was right after X5 and use it to dash.

Waiting for word on what bullshit motion controls they'll force on you like DKC Returns.

Also, I notice a fascination with 'big' things lately from Nintendo. Like giant super mushroom, giant sword for kirby, etc. In this case it seems like its working counter to the simplistic gameplay Kirby does so well.

I am sad to see this news. Though, it is somewhat inevitable, as KoF was a niche series for a long time now. They never made much attempt to bring in new players like Capcom had. They seemed to rely on the same fan base over and over to buy the titles.

SNK has always been on edge as is. Hell their console had games priced higher than I care to spend ever on a single title. They have been the result of [acid burst] poor decisions for a long time now. I honestly expected them to drop KoF a long time ago, or at least give the series a break. As they went on, each title became more and more thrown together, reusing too many assets. At this point, I even feel like the series is stagnating, and I'm pretty lenient on that sort of thing.

They just come with too little too late, and try to maintain a too high pump out rate. If they had gone with HD sprites way back, or even a proper 3D iteration ala SF4, things may be different. Even when we went to HD, we have fire effects with no alpha blending, and only one super per each character. Did I mention it was a 60$ demo? YOU CAN'T ESCAPE THE SOUND TEST.

Terrible. Honestly, KoF seems to be running itself into the ground. As much as I hate to say it, maybe this would be for the better before the series degrades even more?

Terry Board, you will be missed.
