Gonna necro this thread...

So around the beginning of the year I picked up Bayonetta in anticipation of Bayo 2.

I've never played the DMC games, but I loves the [parasitic bomb] outta this. Playing more definitely makes your time easier after you've gotten some upgrades. I remember doing somewhat poorly in Normal mode, but actually doing a little better in hard mode, due to my expanded arsenal and [parasitic bomb].

That said, Hard mode kicks my ass. [tornado fang] Gracious and Glorious. [tornado fang] them so hard. grace and Glory were frustrating enough in Normal Mode, but their beefed up cousins in hard Mode are [tornado fang]ing ridiculous, especially since you cannot use witchtime against them. You fight Gracious and Glorious in normal too, but like, once or twice as special enemies. In hard mode they are everywhere, essentially replacing any instance of Grace and Glory save for The Vestibule.

If there's one gripe I have though, it's that the button presses don't seem very responsive when mashing them for Climaxes or Tortures. the analog sticks are fine and responsive enough, but the buttons I can't help but feel it isn't me being slow.
That's how my experience was when I played Bayonetta for the first time years ago although I gotten the feel of DMC1, 2, and 3: Special Edition; however, up until Bayonetta, I became quite rusty with fast-paced action games. (The PS2 I was using broke and my brother sold the original Xbox along with Ninja Gaiden Vanilla and every game we had with it.)

I completely agree with you on Gracious and Glorious, they're a royal pain to deal with because dodging their attacks does not trigger witchtime. However, there is an accessory called Moon of Mahaa-kalaa that you can wear that allows you to parry and counter attacks by hitting the left stick in the direction of the attacker, triggering witchtime to your enemies at the nick of time -- including Gracious and Glorious.

Out of curiousity, did you play the Xbox 360 version or the PS3 port? I never had any input lag on the 360 version.

Well now that I've seen the last few moments of the MMZ3 run on AGDQ livestream, it makes me want to get the MMZ Collection even more.

I know the game has a really bad reputation, which I've seen from watching Game Grumps. But when you watch others play it badly (Game Grumps, James and Mike), you yearn to play it yourself.

It's that same motivation that tempted me to download and play IWBTG.
I get how you're feeling about it, sometimes when I watch YoVideogames! do LPs it gets me in the mood to play some of the games I own they have played through (RE4, House of the Dead 2 and 3, Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, and since Christmas, Metal Gear Rising), but I can speak from experience that Sonic '06 is not worth throwing a PS3/360 out the window of the Empire State Building. But that's all up to you.

Looks like I won't be playing Sonic '06 anytime soon. :(
Your life will be complete if you never play it. Take my word for it.

If any of the local arcades had the game (and if i could get to them), I'd totally do that.
You could do that with the House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return for the Wii and a pair of Nyko Perfect Shots (they're about $10 each nowadays).

Really? Just for wanting to watch Gravity Falls and Wonder Over Yonder, the only two shows I give damn about in that dreck of a channel?

At a time like, I wish we had Disney Channel (Dish is only giving us Disney X.D) so I could watch Gravity Falls and Wonder Over Yonder. That have them up on Netflix.

I'd go down to the basement and either one of my dad's power tools or one my brother's swords, then I'd probably find the nearest supermarket and hold out 'til help arrives.

Do you watch Yuriofwind? He does fantastic dramatic readings of bad creepypastas.
I remember watching him doing a reading of Sonic.exe (or as I like to call it, "clichéd_sonicfic.exe") months ago and boy he ragged on it compared to slowbeef making sound stupid as possible (which we all know it is). If he's got more I'll them a whirl.

So my [tornado fang]ing Firefox restarted twice, something went in there and deleted all of my addons, and installed two that were probably malware.

Real [tornado fang]ing classy, this came from the local NBC affiliate's news site, so its something they probably unwittingly installed.
That sounds way worse than what I'm dealing with Firefox lately, hence the v20 rollback.

Oh God... can't breathe...
Is there a level where he wrestles a shark while skydiving 2000 ft. in the air with one hand tied behind his whilst singing the national anthem backwards? 8D

The thing I can't stand about video game creepypastas nowadays is they are cliché as [tornado fang] with no sort of creativity whatsoever yet they have widespread popularity for all the wrong reasons. "Oh, there's hyper-realistic blood!" "Oh, there's blood and guts everywhere!" "Oh, this game is possessed / haunted / cursed!" "Oh, this character is portrayed as demonic and evil with black eyes and bloody tears!" "Oh, I'm too stupid to NOT play this game!" "Oh, it has FILE EXTENSION at the end of its title!"

I have listened to some creepypastas readings from Slowbeef of the worst ones out there and I just want to laugh my ass off to this stuff.

There, I broke silence.

Espurrs and beeping.
The greatest combo.
I'm thinking of Espurrs beeping noises as their soul-stealing eyes change colors.

PB sad. My go-to Gundam Model store in ChinaTown closed down. So much for cheap Gundam markers!
*hugs* I know that feeling. Before my family moved this house we live in currently, there was a Chinese store my brother would go to get Gundam model kits from. And it was also the place that we found a bootleg Legacy of Goku game for the Game Boy Color, but instead of adventure game it was a lousy fighting game with badly ripped-off versions of music from the Mega Man X series (from the SNES era from what I remembered).

695
Dude, why are you defending the guy who can't seem to understand that emote abuse is [tornado fang]ing stupid?
I'm pretty sure that comment wasn't cereal, what with "THE MASTER RACE" and all...

Back on topic, I had a hunch that Call F was gonna get voted for the final design since some fans wants familiarity in Mega Man's spirit, and familiarity isn't always a bad thing. Wouldn't mind seeing Call E making the final cut though, especially seeing how close she got to F.

I'm not even sure if the PPG reboot will be as good as the earlier seasons of the original since Lauren Faust and Craig McCracken are working on Wonder Over Yonder. Only time will tell.

Wonder if there's any good games coming out for Comiket 85. Heard there was a sequel for Magical Battle Arena in the works.

Anyway, what animation?

Looks like Sub-Tank made a good call with Call E.
