It was how magic worked in FF8 that turned my older brother away from it in the first place.

Almost forgot this for PS1: Strider and Strider 2.

Okay, Unz isn't as complicated as I remembered; the emulator can accept games by loading them in a similar to SSF does with Saturn games, mounting a disc image to virtual drive. Got ALLTYNEX and Genocide Sqaured working, about to test Splatterhouse...

-EDIT-
Alright, Splatterhouse on FM Towns works like a charm. This is probably close to arcade-perfect next to the Windows versions.

Clef, are you interested in Splatterhouse and the RAY series (RayForce, RayStorm, RayCrisis) by any chance?

RPGs: Wild Arms
Shooting: Gradius III V
Wild ARMs. <3 (I only played the second game though) And Isn't Gradius V bullet hell compared to the others? And speaking of shooters, Einhänder (PS1).

I might try to get Unz, FM Towns emulator, to work to try out Genocide 2 and Splatterhouse. The only time messed around with was to play ALLTYNEX.

Oh yeah, I was thinking of bringing up Maze of Galious for the MSX although there is a freeware fan remake for PC available (I may have brought it up on the freeware games thread)...

YES. KLONOA. <3
I better add the Wii remake of first Klonoa game to my collection ASAP before it goes really high up in price...

Okay, scratch one of the PC-98 and FM Towns games I was gonna recommend...

And I'm such an idiot for forgetting about Grandia (PS1) and Klonoa 2: Dream Champ Tournament (GBA).

At the top of my head at the moment, though I'm not sure if some of these are available for purchase...

-EDIT-
NES: Sweet Home (has a fan translation)
SNES: Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Star Ocean (has a fan translation), Chrono Trigger, The Ninja Warriors, Battle Clash and Metal Storm, Terranigma
Genesis: Rocket Knight Adventures, Contra: Hard Corps, Mega Man: The Wily Wars, M.U.S.H.A.
PS1: Threads of Fate, Tales of Phantasia, Ghost in the Shell, Parasite Eve, Vagrant Story, Valkyrie Profile, Elemental Gearbolt, Grandia, Klonoa
Wii: Kirby Dream Collection, Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon (thankfully it isn't redunk expensive unlike Xenoblade or MP: Trilogy), The Last Story, Klonoa (remake)
GBA: Klonoa 2

I would say Doom 64, but I'm not sure if you're interested in old FPS games. And no, Doom 64 is not another port of the first Doom game, Doom 64 is an entirely different game.

Nothing interesting going on lately.

Recommend me some older games. Games I can easily obtain.
Which system?

Nicely done, Quickie.

Just finished the original Octodad. It was short but a fun little game. I might get Dadliest Catch someday.

Now off to Doom 3 and Metal Gear Rising...

http://content.microsoftstore.com/en-us/offers/thewestchester?WT.mc_id=PromoEmail_XboxTradeIn_BM_1-30-14_Hero_FullEmail#offer-trade-console

For a limited time, bring in your PS3, Xbox 360 S or Xbox 360 E and receive $100 of Microsoft retail store credit.

It never ends! XD
Well [tornado fang] that, I need $100 off a PS3 for myself. And who in the right mind would give away their Xbox 360 S/E for an Xboned?

Not Xbox One related but I feel this should be shown here.

So we finally have a reason to upgrade to Windows 8 even though there has been third-party programs (Start8, Start Menu 8, etc.) that has around doing that LONG before Microsoft implemented a start menu to Windows 8 since the OS launched? Cool.
But I'm sticking to Windows 7 Ultimate.

I'm with Phi on Dawn of Sarrow. To me it didn't wasn't as good as Aria and the use of the touchscreen felt really gimmicky, which is why I'm contemplating on selling it. Plus, im my opinion, I felt most of the souls and items in Dawn were weak compared to Aria. (I miss the Red Minotaur soul, it was stupid powerful.)

I do have Order of Ecclesia but not Portrait of Ruin though. Ecclesia is much more challenging than Dawn (especially Lv.1 Hard Mode on a clean save) and more enjoyable.

Congrats on getting the game out for us to buy. Now I just need an iOS device. I'll try to see if I can get the game known through other forums I go to.

I remember finding a sandwich bag of loose change in my brother's room next to mine, but I'm not sure if they'll let me use it to deposit money for me.

You should do what I do and gather up all the change in your house plus whenever you pay cash for something and get change back, roll it up and take it to the bank to deposit it and save it to get a proper laptop.  I have a ton that I still need to roll up from over the years and I currently have a little over $400 rolled already.  It's the damn pennies I need to roll and the quarters and dimes fill up quick.  I think when my room is finished I'm taking that $400 to the bank and opening a savings account and then I'll roll the rest.
My family has been saving up money for my computer, though I'm not sure what I can do with all the spare change I have laying around, but the other problem is that I won't get one until we move... Plus I rather have a desktop than a laptop.

Why are you using a Wii Remote? Use a keyboard.
Don't have a USB keyboard. And does it matter when I can't see the videos posted here?

Ugh, I know typed that link correctly with my Wii remote. I double-checked the link yet the browser doesn't let me see the video.

-EDIT-
Fixed. Can't wait to get to my own computer... :|
