Kinda ironic since I played Time Crisis 4 a bit at the theaters on Sunday.

I finally found the part of the area in Maridia that I was suppose to shoot and continue on in the game. Now I remember why I hated that place when I played Super Metroid on emulator. 2 hours wasted going in circles looking for the breakable floor. -AC

I got Super Metroid and Gunstar Heroes finally added into my digital Wii collection. Jeez, the original Gunstar Heroes is much harder than the GBA remake (sans the sucky helicopter section).

Learn to use photobucket, kids!

Meanwhile, nobody says anything about the HD Metroid shots I posted. >_>

ImageShack might work, too.

Anyways, I just got Super Metroid downloaded into my Wii Sunday, and I'm already hating Maridia because I'm getting so lost in this place trying to figure my way around to the next boss and I keep running into those stubborn gray hatches that won't open even after I killed everything in sight (unless I'm suppose to fight Ridley first)..

HO. LY. [parasitic bomb]!

MACHETE WAS [tornado fang]ing AWESOME. EVERYTHING I HOPED FOR AND MORE. BETTER THAN EXPENDABLES.

MY 2ND FAVORITE MOVIE OF THE YEAR!

Not to mention, I saw this awesome [tornado fang]ing trailer before Machete last night. UNSTOPPABLE.

It looks so [tornado fang]ing absurd. I MUST SEE THIS!

I effin' agree. Robert Rodriguez, you have really outdone yourself this time. Although I don't go the movies as often as anyone else here or my older brother, but Machete is one of best movies I've seen in a long time. I actually the trailer for Unstoppable Sunday, too. The very thought of a missile the size of the Chrysler Building leaves me shaking in my boots. As absurd as an unmanned train going the speed of Super Man, I fell like watching it. I also happen to see a trailer of The Green Hornet too at the theaters I went to.

Off The Wall / Re: Latest Buys
« on: September 07, 2010, 09:40:23 PM »
On Sunday, I got...
  • A 2000 Nintendo Points card (used it to buy Super Metroid, Gunstar Heroes, and the Special Stage 2 & 3 for Mega Man 10, which leaves me 200 points to spare)
  • The Blob and some other horror movies on DVD (my mom and older brother bought that actually for themselves)
  • Grindhouse's Planet Terror - Extended and Unrated Edition (same as above) on DVD
  • and this for me:

ROW! ROW! FIGHT DA POWA!

Kind of shame I couldn't get Metroid: Other M and Pokemon SoulSilver at the GameStop in the Willowbrook Mall since my mom and older brother could spent that much money. Hopefully I get it cheaper at Amazon. :b

Bunny: "Wait! I'm cursed to look right, too?!"

Some people from playthough videos I've seen calls it a Castlevania-clone sometimes since Castlevania adapted to Super Metroid's gameplay style. But from the gears that allows Bunny to turn right (I assume it's a reference to the Morph Ball from the NES Metroid being MANDATORY items) and the final area inspired by Tourian from Super Metroid, it's obvious Bunny Must Die is a Metroid-clone.

What a conicedence, one of my friends told and showed me Bunny Must Die this week. Such a strange game.

"Hmm maybe I should consider starting a new game on Final Fantasy IV advance since I missed some pretty helpful items."

Think the 2D Metroid games but brutal with nonsensical but humorous story. The dialogue in the game is funny, and despite the brutality of the game, its a very good Metroid-clone. The game also has Xbox 360-esque in-game achievements for completing specific challenges in the game, such finishing with 15% of items.

I wish Machete was released. Lucky as we are, we're gonna have to wait months.

I feel your pain, man. You could do why my brother does sometimes and watch movies on the internet. But you know, there's shitty video compression and whatnot from pirating off theaters.. :\

From Lego, the company who brought us Lego versions of Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, and Prince of Persia, comes the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni set!

Set includes everything you could ask for to re-create your favorite scene from the smash murder-mystery series. I wonder if that's Satoko's skeleton.

As did I. I generally had no problem with it at all.

Also, going to see late night MACHETE tonight. [tornado fang]. YEAH.

My older brother is going to take my family to see MACHETE tomorrow morning, but as long I'm going to watch it, then [tornado fang] yes it will be worth it after you. Kind of a shame that my dad is in Ecuador to visit my relatives though, but my family can tell him all about it when he returns.

Does seem like there's much use of Earth in these games (or I haven't been playing enough Mega Man lately)... and I agree, there's no Heart, either.

Well here's to hoping! By the way, I hardly ever touched Echoes in my Triology game since I got it (I mainly got for MP3), so maybe I get on that soon as I can put down Sin and Punishment: Star Successor or a bit.

Well my older brother, who lives downstairs from my mine and my brother's rooms, has the wireless router that gets us internet to the house along with his PS3 in his room (his PS3 has a wireless connection 24/7, so I can download demos, themes, etc. for it; the recent things I've downloaded was the Scott Pilgrim VS. The World demo - I really want to play this game and get into the comics - and themes from PlantineDispositif's Gundemonium Collection that are free). Maybe I'll see what I can do with the 360 and get it online, but I doubt I can go into my brother's room since he locks the door when he goes to work.

I played a little bit of Dark Brotherhood (on emulator), it was decent. Though my question is when is BioWare going to confirm a sequel or not for. All I know is according to the Sonic Wiki, that BioWare is making a script for the game or something, but I haven't checked any sources leading to such statements. And is it me, or does anyone else find the PS2 version of Sonic Heroes sucky?

Now unless this game gets plenty of sequels like Prime, we're not gonna see a Metroid game for a long time. ;_;

Well there's always Zero Mission, Super Metroid, and Triology to keep you busy until the next Metroid game.
