Well that's a relief. But still, a new Mega Man game is gonna feel a bit weird without Inafune around for a while, as if X6 wasn't an example of that.

Excel, please. f^_^;

That reminds me, I gotta get back to watching this series. It'll be a nice time killer until the next Panty & Stocking episode comes up, not to go off topic.

-EDIT-
And Il Plazzo, too!

Mainly VG Cats and PPGD at SNAFU. Maybe I'll get into Tara Lei Welker's webcomics.

Rosenkreuzstilette, Alltynex Second, Kamui, RefleX, and Labyrinth of Touhou Special Disc.

Before anyone asks, yes, I know my family are outlawing PC doujins because of what happened to me a while back (that is until I get my own frickin' PC so I can play them in secrecy as I intent to), but I was working on something for GameFAQs for Rosenkreuzstilette at the time before my brother nuked the hard drive and killed every - constructive - thing was I actually working on. For a time, I was working on it, then lost my motivation, worked on it again, then lost motivation again wondering if anyone would actually use it. As long as I can keep the file space far away from the gray line (it was 20GB worth PC doujins for me when my brother's sh*t took up 40~60+GB), I can avoid any suspicions from raising.

... *sigh* When are the manufacturers are going to give my brother the replacement video card my brother desperately needs.

Also, I can't get Shantae to work on VBA v1.8.0 beta and I saw someone on YouTube got it working.

Wily told me to
Oh, you.. XD

Trust me, that's as Trasky as anything can get.

PS: Trask is also an immortal being in D&D. Can only be wished away and it never really dies.
I need glasses to see that third one. o-O

How old is Osaka, exactly..?

Some Gambit for you guys.

Gaming / Re: The "Treasure" Thread
« on: October 21, 2010, 07:09:55 AM »
The guy behind the character designs in many Treasure games is Tetsuhiko Kikuchi, often credited as "HAN". You can find him in the credits of Mischief Makers and Radiant Silvergun. According to wikipedia, he seems to have left the company back in 2007. Bummer.  :\

Really hoping to see Radiant Silvergun released on XBLA, if it makes to Europe. Europe seems to be left behind all the time with the shmups that are released on 360. But Ikaruga was released here on XBLA, though.

Too bad Radiant Silvergun is so frikkin' expensive on Sega Saturn, that I can't even think  of buying that version (at least for now).
According to 1-UP, Radiant Silvergun was announced at TGS that it will be available for Xbox Live, and like Ikaruga, it will feature online co-op mode, leaderboards, and downloadable replays.

This makes me want an Xbox 360 Slim even more. But until that time, there's still Sin and Punishment 1 & 2 on my Wii.

Posted on: September 25, 2010, 07:19:21 PM
You know, with some of the reviews I've on Sin and Punishment: Star Successor, they get on the game's English voice acting (name GameInformer's review of the game). Though if you ask me, its the game's Japanese-to-English translation that's one of major issues with the game. I remember X-Play giving Advance Guardian Heroes a 1 out of 5, one of the main reasons was the English translation was terrible.

All of the sudden I this image of Greedo in a Fire Emblem game.

So the Orihime Inoue diet works for Stocking, huh... that explains why her bosoms were bigger than Panty's in the pole dancing scene during the first episode.

Lol, so much Stocking fanservice in eps. 3. Stocking really gets off bondage, doesn't she? XD

I must alert PurpleTriforce and Coolgrr890 about this! XD

Man, sounds like I missed a lot thanks to this computer crapping out. -AC

X / Re: Why does everyone hate Mega Man X6?
« on: October 18, 2010, 11:45:43 PM »
A couple of X6 flaws:

Necroposting Sigma  8D (sorry I just had to)
Zero's ultra cheap Z Buster
Blizard Wolfang's stage is icy hell
Heat Pheonix's stage is a survival course (literally)
Gate's weakness is stupid
Heat Pheonix's weakness is stupid
Ground Scravich is easy to kill
Level designs are ridicously hard
Shield shelldon's stage is fairly easy
Nightmare Zero is hard to kill with armor less X
Rock beats Fire for some reason  o~O
X's gate stage has the "leap of faith"
"leap of faith" is impossible with shadow and armor less X

Rock beats fire in Pokemon. lol? Zero's Gate stage was the worst for me (or whichever has Metal Shark Player's X Pancake Maker of Death) I would have to agree that Ground Scravich is pathetic, even on Extreme mode. Commander Yanmark is pretty easy, too (expect in Extreme mode where he as this danmaku / bullet hell attack that's almost impossible for me to dodge). Gate will always be a punk-ass in the X series for me because of weakness. (Seriously, why I can't I just spam Nova Strike with Ultimate Armor and get it over with?)

Hey, you forgot Necroposting Dynamo.

Gaming / Re: La Mulana
« on: October 18, 2010, 10:49:54 PM »
Has this ever happened to anyone who played La-Mulana: when I re-downloaded the game, the high-quality version of the music did not play until I downloaded and added a bunch of .dll files that's suppose to fix the game's music for Vista / 7. When I first downloaded and played the game before my brother nuked the hard drive with all of my doujins on it, the game ran perfectly fine with the Unicode set to Japanese. But now I had to download and use the fore-mentioned .dll files into the game since its back to English (USA and Canada). Does the Unicode setting on the computer have anything to do with that?

Since Vixy brought up Tower of Heaven, I'd like to feature here at RockmanPM.

Tower of Heaven / Tengoku no Tou

Screenshots are from the Flash version at Newgrounds

Release date: 2010
Developer: Askiisoft
Version: v1.0 (PC) / v1.04 (Newgrounds Flash version)
Genre: 2D > Action > Platforming > Puzzling
Content: Mild Violence

An indie platforming and puzzle game with nostalgic Game Boy-styled 8-bit visuals and beautiful music (you can buy it here at Flashygoodness' site for less than $1). You play as an unnamed wanderer who sets out to undergo the trails of tower that reaches towards the heavens. Somewhat of a difficult game and its short, but the game's music is definitely memorable. There's also secrets to be found and there's extra modes (and more in the Flash version). The PC version is freeware, but there's much more in the Flash version at Newgrounds and it plays much smoothly, too.

Download Tower of Heaven v1.0 | Play the Flash version at Newgrounds

I would watch that! I bet it would be akin to X-Play during their prime with Vixy, PB, and Akira hosting and some of us do narrations and writing of a review.

What if Eric Cartman from South Park was sent to Planet Vegandon, that hippie planet from Johnny Test?

And Araragi is another one of these "Tree Professors" in Black & White (Prof. Oak, Elm, Birch, etc)?

Panty is just royally [tornado fang]'d up. She cuts out Stocking of the movie, after she helps her destroy almost every copy of the porno. Serves her right by having Stocking upload it on YouTube. No more sex with studly celebrity men for HER! XD
