First, this game comes out in Japanese arcades on the Sega NAOMI and then some time later it gets a console port on the Dreamcast. On the Dreamcast, you get the Story mode and the Arrange modes on the game, and the Arrange mode is (supposedly) a hardcore version of the game. But this is all I know on the Dreamcast version since I've yet to emulate this one. In 2008, Warashi brings Triggerheart Exelica worldwide through Xbox Live Arcade. But in this version, there is no Story mode nor the Arrange mode from the Dreamcast version.

Whaaaaaaaaaaat...?Although they put an arranged soundtrack that is far better than the original, gave it in-game Achievements and online Leaderboads, but the game's visuals does not look HD quality at all (compare this game's HD visuals to Ikaruga or Mushihime-sama Futari Ver. 1.5 and you'll see a huge difference) despite being an HD game; it looks something out of the PS2-era despite how smoother the models look than the Dreamcast version and they pretty much nerfed half of the game here in my honest opinion, especially the game's storyline. I know that shoot 'em up in general are not known for compelling storyline (unless someone of Ken Levine's talents steps in and makes a shooter) but they could of at least localized the storyline for the Western consumers. Would it kill these guys to do a better job releasing an old arcade game to current-gen consoles? Treasure's pretty much blown the hinges of the doors with Radiant Silvergun's visuals from the old Sega Saturn version the with HD face-lift it's getting and Ikaruga not only looks great (It'd looked better for me if i didn't have this sucky SDTV and didn't hate widescreen so much), but they added more English translations compared to what was seen in the GameCube version. I'm not saying the game itself is bad; but they should of done this better with this release

"Trigger Heart Exelica -ENCHANCED-". Now I fiddled around with PCSX2 so I can play the PS2 version of Triggerheart Exelica for a bit, despite how much a butthurt PCSX2 is being on this computer with the graphics plugins, and I see a Story Mode with fully-voiced dialogue, an actual Training / Practice mode, a full-blown Gallery Mode where you can look through various illustrations of the characters and whatnot, characters that weren't seen the story mode from the Dreamcast version actually appear in the game's story, AND the original Faintear is a playable character.

WHAT?!Please make the -ENCHANCED- version stuff for DLC, Warashi (I'll accept canning the OP) and let us Americans who wanted this game to come out in English to play the game's story at least...

I'm also messing around with ZSNES and playing Demon's Crest, I'm surprised Nintendo didn't get this game on VC yet, I'm starting to like this game. I'm probably going to try out the PS1 version Thunder Force V later on ePSXe.
