Uhh....It's flat out been stated that the game will only be $39.99.

Whoops. I didn't see that. I haven't really posted here in ages.

Goddammit, Capcom. If you're willing to killing Mega Man Legends 3 for more SFIV rehashs, the least you guys could do is make the "Ultimate" MvC3 a DLC expansion to the original game instead of forcing us to pay $60-something dollars for the game again. At least people like G.REV have the balls to make an expansion to their recent bullet hell game on XBLA for a mere $5 in MS Points. B(

Fiddling around with Strania -The Stella Machina's- demo again on Xbox 360 and I believe that G.REV added English translations and 4:3 aspect-ratio support, but I wish I could resize my game screen without shrinking the menus with it (you have no idea how much I loathe this SDTV that I have and it's HD 16:9 trolling). ::)

I'm almost done with Bayonetta's Achievements; all I have to do is make it through Non-Stop Infinite Climax mode and I'll officially become The Legendary Dark Witch.
I need to get back to Beat Hazard Ultra, my eyes needs a seizure boost. >U<

Dynamarisa 3D

Well, not much of a bullet hell, what made this game so crazy is the cluster [tornado fang]ing swarming number of enemies.

This sorta thing comes with the territory of Patchouli Earth Defense Force 2017. I'm actually re-playing this again on a new file in Japanese. I'm hoping the guys that made the English patch are fixing some of the problems (like how some of the menus looked messed up).

Quoting this for truth, too.

Yes, even the indie side of video game has people who are passionate of their favorite games they'd make tribute or homages to them. Example: ZUN's Touhou series (because these games has STG references all over the place); Konjak's Games Noitu Love 2: Devolution (to me, this feels like a tribute to Treasure's 2D games like Gunstar Heroes and Mischief Makers); Twilight Frontier's MegaMari, New Super Marisa Land, DynaMarisa (or should I say Patchouli Defense Force 2017), SITER SKAIN's Tale of ALLTYNEX games (ALLTYNEX Second, RefleX, and Kamui); Yotsubane's Crimzon Clover; [erka:es] Rosenkreuzstilette series; Cold Beam Game's Beat Hazard (this game is too awesome for words now that the Beat Hazard Ultra add-on fixes a lot of issues of the original game); Askiisoft's Tower of Heaven (best 8-bit music I've heard in my life); and Reverge Lab's Skullgirls of all things (this game got dedication by the mother-lode).

I wish I could go on, but I'm starting to forget some stuff plus I don't want to look like some know-it-all weeaboo.

Really Capcom.  If it's not Street Fighter or Resident Evil you don't want to support it.  If you don't care about Megaman anymore then sell the blasted trademark to someone who does.
Quoted for the truth! Honestly, does Capcom think a frickin' rehash of Residel Evil's Mercenaries mini-game, SFIV, and [tornado fang]ing up Devil May Cry is a good business move on their part? Can't wait for SUPER ULTRA MEGA Street Fighter IV Ultimate Non-stop Climax NEO Arcade Edition PLUS 3D HD REMIX. </sarcasm>

Just a quick update: So far there is no signs of Isemiya, the main programer of Rosenkreuzstilette to be seen as of late, leaving WOMI, artist of the series, to work where he left off. Read all about it here, here, here, here, and here.

So now do we do for Mega Man-related news? Start putting up updates on Rosenkreuzstilette ~Freudenstachel's~ development, because with Isemiya vanishing into the Shadow Realm, WOMI is doing all the work now (and I should of been adding that to my own RKS thread of all things)?

Thanks a -- [tornado fang]ing -- lot, Capcom! I said I learned how to do that (I didn't on my previous plays), that's why I even bothered playing the game now ^^

I'm stuck at the boss on the fiery cavern
Sorry, I misunderstood you.

Just finished Bayonetta with all Broken Witch Heart and Moon Pearl pieces, now my HP and Magic gauges are both maxed out. Now there's just the crows on Hard and Non-stop Infinite Climax and I think one last Achievement (I think it's the "Legendary Dark Witch" Achievement) until I get the Climax Bracelet. ^^

Decided to give La Mulana a try again, and once I learned how to save and that I can teleport to the other dungeons I started enjoying the crap out of the game.

I ocasionally play Spiral Knights too, not bad but the goddamn energy is too expensive :-|

To save your game, you need to buy an MSX ROM in the game called [Game Master]. It's in one of the shops in the Surface area at the beginning of the game for 10 coins. Once you have it, equip it to one of your MSX slots and talk to Elder Xelpud to save your game.  [Game Master] can only let you save on Slot 0, however; you have to find [Game Master 2] if you want to save in all save slots.

For teleporting through the different areas of the game, you need: the Hand Scanner (again it's in one of the shops in the beginning of the game); the Grail (it's in the Guidance Gate, first area of La-Mulana); the and the Glyph Reader (without it, you can't activate the teleporters), which costs you 100 coins. A good way to rack up some money is find some pots in the Guidance Gate and smash them for the 10 coins they have, return to the Surface, save, re-load your game, repeat.

Back on topic: Still playing Beat Hazard Ultra, Bayonetta, and Symphony of the Night. I just re-started playing Iji after my PC's system restore killed it and still figuring out what am I suppose to do in La-Mulana.

Tasty Static

Release date: July 31, 2009
Developer: tinsanity
Version: v1.00
Genre: 3D > Platforming

if you like games like The Impossible Game or tricky platforming games, then you might dig this one. According to the developers, this is an homage to an old PC game called Skyroads by BlueMoon Interactive (which is also a remake of a game called Kosmonaut by the same team). You pilot a ship through odd and challenging levels while jumping over gaps, dodging traps, and generally make it through the levels in one piece. It's as simple as it gets. There's a lot of levels to test you wits and reflexes, and if that's not enough, there's also a level editor -- sadly only for the Windows version as of this writing -- and neat extras to unlock. It's available on Windows, Mac, and Linux, and it's 100% freeware, so everybody's happy. owob

Bunny Must Die ~ Chelsea and the 7Devils. My brother's PC was having some odd problems so I used system restore on it. Fixed the problems, killed my Bunny Must Die game (with all the other games on the PC instead of the external 1TB hard drive like Dead Space 2 and Rosenkreuzstilette) and most of the saved progress. Now I'm afraid that I have to fight those pumpkin bosses in the tower area again for the achievements (and I was right on fighting Halloween Alice, too).. X(

La-Mulana (PC version). Also died with Bunny Must Die, but I'm making somewhat quick recovery (even though I'm still at the beginning of the game). Strangely, La-Mulana is working better than it did before now that fullscreen mode isn't messing up the colors.

Left 4 Dead 2. Ugh! I want to play this game again with my buddies online. I had some good laughs when we played this, I miss it. I want my Gold membership back... ;O;

Rockman 7 FC. Man this is awesome (and free) re-creation of Mega Man 7 in 8-bit glory.

@Sakura Matou:
Not only is the Xbox 360 S (slim) quieter as Vixy pointed out, but if I recall correctly the motherboard on this Xbox 360 has a less RRoD ratio than the original fat Xbox 360. So generally it's a better Xbox 360, I'm glad I didn't bother to get one until now. Once Dust: Elysian Tail comes out, I can truly say "I have no regrets".

I'm definitely adding Half-Minute Hero to my wishlist, this game's fun. ^^

-EDIT-
Is playing this.

Sora

Starbreaker(final boss) is just [tornado fang]ing mad bulletmissileflamethrowerbeam spammer and still cant beat it for over 6 hours on normal mode

I hope copies of this game doesn't disappear because I want to actually this game if I ever get to buy doujin PC games. That, or Rockin' Android sells out on Sony and release on PlayStation 3 in English. When will it be Xbox 360 owners' turn to have some doujin games from you guys?! :|

Odd. I'm (re-)playing La-Mulana on my brother's PC and before the system restore (lost the save file with it while destroying some of the other games I got in My Documents) Windows 7 was trolling La-Mulana on fullscreen by messing up the colors, but now it works perfectly fine... Don't know what's up with this game and high-end PCs. Even back when I had Windows Vista Home Premium it was screwing up with the high-quality version of the game's music. Dunno if installing DirectX 9.0c fixed the issue... o~O

-EDIT-
Okay now it's screwing up again with fullscreen mode (dunno if changing the Unicode setting did this). Thankfully it could be fixed by opening Screen Resolution and leave it open (never minimized) or making a batch file to kill exeplorer.exe while the game plays.

Five years for streaming too many videos with copyrighted stuff in it. BULL-[tornado fang]ing-[parasitic bomb].

I dunno how they'll enforce this, either, but still. I know that at least one of my sisters has a YouTube account--I'd hate for her to get thrown in the slammer for five years because ten or more of her videos had copyrighted stuff in it, no matter how briefly.

Jesus, when will the old media just take some time to learn about new media instead of condemning everyone who uses it?
Exactly.

The bill would do more than just take the video down. If you have 10 offences within a 180 day period, you would get jail time.
*paranoid* -_-

Original artwork by Zakuro "zaku6" Aburidashi. I found this through Kona-chan. Here's the original uploaded at imgur: http://i.imgur.com/Z4JHX.jpg

This comes from the doujin artist behind the character design for Eifer Skute from Rosenkreuzstilette ~Freudenstachel~ and a bunch of h-doujins, one of them being the Rosenkreuzstilette h-doujin he released about a year ago. He also did the coverart for an arrangement of Triggerheart Exelica's soundtrack by Masahiro Kajihara. http://vgmdb.net/album/9906

I have to say, this looks great with Windows 7's Aero theme in purple. owo

Well that's because artists put more effort into work-safe and ecchi drawings on pixiv (and other sites too).

The porn they post there is usually rush-job ideas that they have in their minds to spread out to the internet public as quick as possible. Because let's face it, there exist porn for everything. But since there's a big amount of porn drawn without much effort put to them, you get to appreciate the more work-safe drawings more and admire your favorite characters in more diverse ways.

I don't mean that porn can't look good. XD Our oekaki has lots of good ones (well, from our own perspective anyway, it might not be pleasant to other people, lol). But nowadays, porn in general doesn't look that pleasant (or maybe people are getting all soft lately), but for sure, when more detail are put into drawings, specially in the garment the characters wear and their beautiful looks, that makes art stand out more and more, and it's appreciated that way.

Like example the avatar you have right now. So cute, adorable and beautiful~ ^o^

LOL, good ol' Rule 34. 8D

But that's true when people actually put effort into their work on making some appealing to the eyes rather than make a rush-job on getting a sexual rise out of someone. Amidst all poorly drawn Trouble Witches pictures on pixiv (some I refuse to call them "art"), found some very cute stuff, like this artwork of Pril Patowle, Yuki Longate, Symphony Porlatt and Ponta, and Luca as you pointed out. I also found the artist of Trouble Witches and s/he made this cute artwork of Yuzuruha from Muramasa. :3

You do realise you can turn R18 pictures off right? Why did you even turn them on anyway if you don't like H...

I am well aware of that since the creation of my pixiv account...

... you know, let's just drop the subject of pixiv and it's h-artworks, it doesn't belong here...
