Definitely go for Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.

http://steamcommunity.com/id/vixynyan/stats/CaveStoryI'm playing on Fullscreen with Sharp scaling and the game looks great on my end with a 1440x900 monitor.
Played it a bit. It's the same as the WiiWare version.
Since it's played on a PC, the screen quality looks so detailed and amazing.
Music is the same as the "patched" WiiWare soundtrack.
For those trying the game, I recommend Window mode, and Sharp scaling.
That way the game will be set at 640x480 and no blur filters will be used. Pixel perfect. ^^

Late last month, Nyu Media Limited announced plans to bring doujin (indie) games out of Japan. The announcement included a volley of Japanese indie titles licensed by Nyu Media for overseas release, including relatively well-known doujin shoot-em-ups like Ether Vapor.Source: http://www.siliconera.com/2011/12/09/nyu-media-partner-with-capcom-to-publish-japanese-indie-games-on-pc/
This morning, Nyu Media announced that they’re entering a publishing agreement with Capcom to bring these titles to the U.S., Europe and other territories as well.
“Our partnership with Nyu Media showcases the immense creativity that’s brewing within the Japanese independent game development community and at the same time expands our PC gaming initiatives,” said Christian Svensson, senior vice president of Capcom. “I’m thrilled that Capcom is able to play a role in bringing such diverse gameplay experiences to Western audiences.”
The first game to be released as part of this agreement will be arcade shooter, Satazius, developed by Astro Port (more info here). The game lets you use 13 different types of weapons, which you can upgrade during the course of the game. Satazius will be released on Steam, GamersGate, Direct-2-Drive, Impulse, and other major PC download services.
The game is slated for release on December 20th. It will cost $5.99. Seon King, founder of Nyu Media, says that the company will maintain “accessible” pricing across its titles.
Not to mention you'd be better off spending that kind of money on the X collection so you could also get the rare X3 game.Doesn't the MMX Collection use the PS1 port of X3 instead of the original SNES version?

So I went to Amazon and bought the PS3 version instead. So now I have both 360 (standard) and PS3 (collector) editions. That must've set you back quite a bit on your wallet, didn't it? Any chance of the Collector's Edition arriving state-side or it's already out and the lack of being on the PC to hear news (no thanks to my brother's Battlefield 3)?
Is it visually disturbing? Or just the plot? All I ever liked in Higurashi was the girls, but the plot seemed to suffer from Citizen Kane syndrome and was horribly uninteresting/a waster of time. From what very small tidbits I accidentally read on TV Tropes and screenshots from Google when I first heard of the game's title (this is why I stress NOT to look the game on Google or TV Tropes), it is. Here's a scenario that happened to me the other day when I got an ending around getting 10,000/20,000 pts...
Also, is there any fan service?
PS: Note to self: Make sure you actually write the reply AFTER the quote next time.

Well, I'm a little late with my reply, but what the hey...I took some time to listen to the *mp3 on the other blog post you made earlier after making the posts here. And I try to practice typing fast, but I usually make those kinds of mistakes.. Would it be better if I refer to you as "Darkside" instead?
Nope. That was a segment from one of the MP3s Tristan MacAvery sent me back in August. I thought my next bowel movement would consist of bricks when I read his email and heard the clips - a mere two hours after I first contacted him, no less. I had a bit of trouble sedating my inner fanboy while recording the announcement, which is why my voice sounds a little odd (that and I had just recovered from an acute case of bronchitis).
The lesson learned: Aim for the stars; you just might reach them.
By the way, it's TDOMMX, not TDOMXX. When people see photos of me from before I shaved off my mustache, they could swear I looked like an out-of-work porn star. I don't need anything else tacitly reinforcing that idea, even if unintentionally.
Yep. Kira's great, isn't she? Her takes on Tia, Lilli, Luste, and Iris are all awesome. Her Trau isn't bad, either. Only three of the roles have been cast as of this writing, though. I have yet to hear renditions of Freudia, Grolla, Sichte, and Liebea that I'm fully satisfied with. After hearing the *mp3, I can't wait to hear Freudia, Grolla, Sichte, and Liebea dubbed in English by you guys.
Yep. Patrick makes an awesome Mister Zeppy.
My mantra: if you're not going to do a job you can be damned proud of, you shouldn't be doing it in the first place - let someone who knows what they're doing handle it instead and take the opportunity to learn from them.Again, Studio SiestA should take notes and stop hiring bad translators to localize any doujin games that might be coming to XBLA (Trouble Witches NEO! annoyed me enough already with the bad translations and dubbing, although I kinda use the "two sides of every coin" approach with this game since the awful localization can be seen as funny as Castle Shikigami II's English localization).

Destiny Board Fail:Makes perfect sense.
Win.
