Ugh! You have no idea how much THIS is pissing me right the [tornado fang] off ever since I bought La-Mulana and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney -- I had to give up MM9 and 10 for those... "Equivalent exchange" my ass. o//////o

Gaming / Re: why do most people hate on ps3 and sony?
« on: January 23, 2013, 07:13:13 PM »
why only stick to one console? why not get both or all 3?

I own a Wii for 7 years AND an Xbox 360 S for 2 years, and my older brother owns a PS3 Slim (which I only use when he's out). Does that answer your question. /xbox360

-EDIT-
Altho I just recently got into PS3, I already picked games I like and will start more arcade and shmups later.
Mind if I recommend you Crescent Pale Mist, Acceleration of SUGURI, the Gundemonium series (doesn't have the awesome remixes of the Steam versions though), and Journey on PSN?

-EDIT 2
Excuse me, no I don't.
THIS pretty much summed up response to Pan's claims.

Anyone who defends the 360 deserves to be punched in the face because paying for online play is complete bullshit.

When did this thread go from "Let's discuss (alleged) PS3 bashings" to "Let's all bash the 360 and anyone that owns them"? Am I the only Xbox 360 owner here with a sound of mind?

I don't hate PS3, I just hate how it's eff-ing region-free for games and the 360 is not. >8|

X6 kinda like went "screw it, let's give you jap voice acting with english text" and just did it like that. What's wrong with TWN? Change of cast?

And bad English subtitles at that! (Speaking of MMX6, of course.)

Trouble Witches NEO's! problem from my speculation is either a) they used the Japanese voice actors and make them speak English, or b) SNK hired the worst bunch of voice actors possible that can barely speak the English language and/or have little-to-no talent in voice acting whatsoever (it's like they hired the cast of Chaos Wars to voice this [tornado fang]ing game). I'm leaning  towards the latter, but either way, it didn't seem like Studio SiestA (the doujin circle behind the game) gave much of damn of localization quality, which is a shame considering the original PC game was all about the story. Just search "Trouble Witches voice acting / dub" and you're guaranteed to find clips of the [acid burst]-poor voice overs.

Dual-audio means both Japanese and English voices right?  I mean seriously so few games have that feature even with modern games, the only one I think I own is Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

A few recent of games with Dual-Audio I've seen are Trouble Witches NEO! (which you'll be thankfully for this as the English dubbing is terrible), Vanquish (though I've only played the demo but the dubbing isn't bad from what the demo offered), BlazBlue (to me the dub sounds pretty good in CS EXTEND; I like Ragna's, Rachel's, and Taokaka's voice work), and Sin & Punishment: Star Successor (though it's a mixed bag, mostly "meh" quality) to name a few in out of my head.

Like a Sawsbuck on fire?

Could easily be accomplished. Just use Flamethrower on Sawsbuck.

I'll just wait for the Pokemon Z version to come out in a year or two I think. Maybe then I'll also have the 3DS needed to play it.

..naaaaaahh.
Last time on, Pokémon Z... 8D
Sorry, could resist making that crack.

It'd be awesome if it was a Fire/Psychic or Fire/Grass
Didn't Gen V have Victini, a Fire/Psychic event-only legendary pokémon? But a Fire/Grass type sounds cool.

Flannel, perhaps? 'Cuz I'm wearing flannel pants at the moment and they feel kinda like that.

You know, i've always found pants pockets to be bothersome and a pain.

I can't keep my wallet or keys in my pants.
Yea, I know that feeling. I couldn't fit my wallet in jeans, not because it had lots of bills but the wallet itself was a tad bulky. This is why I put my stuff in the coat or jacket pockets (if possible).

*Joseph, place palm here to hi-five*
I've seen some ribbed sweaters puppies without the sleeves. [eyebrow] But then again, that probably wouldn't count as a sweater.

I will say that the matetial could be bothersome to wearer.

Also cute.  <3Sweater puppies.  Bulbous protrusions jutting out from the chest area of a sweater which accentuate and occasional enhance a female's natural bust.  Delightful, really.  owo

I was looking at some of previous posts and I was like "When did this become the 'Let's share our Skype names' thread?" 8D /wii
If you want, I would PM my Skype and MSN Messenger names, though I doubt can't chat with "not having any PC freedom" and all. The reason why I don't want publically share them is because I don't want SuperJealousBros. to stalk and troll me like he has been for a while.

the store I'm doing work placement at had two copies of MML2 go through within one month. They were sold at $59.99. Well one was at least. The second was traded for a fully boxed copy of Lunar. Still, that sounds like inflated prices because of demand or something. It takes just one overpriced auction to offset all the others.

Like, I imagine my copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy could go anywhere from $100 - $200 depending how much some dumb people are willing to bid.
EDIT: Okay yeah uh,

some people are just so full of [parasitic bomb]. don't ever do "Buy It Now"

Makes me glad I got Metroid Prime: Trillogy cheap at GameStop... *sigh* [tornado fang]ing Friend Vouchers...

So far I'm really enjoying La-Mulana (2012) on WiiWare, I might consider getting it on PC when or if it gets greenlit for Steam. I hoping to get it from Playism and get the Steam key for it since NIGORO are considering giving Steam key to anyone that buys it on Playism, although they're not making any concrete promises on that. If that doesn't happen, I may as well get it from Good Old Games since it's DRM-free.

I'm messing around with an HD mod for BloodRayne 2 on PC, and it looks pretty good on 720p/1080p. It's also nice that the modder fixed this issue with the game running above certain resolutions by default it can't run in, despite my brother's PC being fully capable of running some games in 1920×1080 no problem.

And I'm also knee-deep into the visual novel of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND (so far I've 100%'d Ragna's and Noel's story), though I gotta get back to Phoenix Wright sometime, I'm having more fun with the latter than I thought I would. 8)
