It's only a matter of time until someone changes the Xbox Phat to Xbox One in this picture. And how drunk is Xbox One, you might ask...?

Something like this.

By drilling completely through the Earth and winding up in Japan.
But if you drill straight down, wouldn't you end up in China instead? XD

How did they survive the molten core?
My hypothesis suggest that they will burrow into the Earth the Xbox ONE, which unbeknownst to us, is made from a space-age metal made from reptilian humanoids that can withstand the heat of the Earth's core.

Although when they do go through the core, the Earth would probably explode. So we go with them... :O

Oh good. I believe the proper term is "rockbottom and digging!"

Straight into the center of th earth?
I'm willing to bet they'll hit bedrock pretty damn quick.
And then they'll fall into outer space on the way down.

Yay.
Although I've mentioned this news in the "Thinking" thread, it's good you've made a thread.
I was actually planning on making a post about it when I saw it on Siliconera yesterday. Although I wasn't sure if I should hunt down the BlazBlue thread and post the news there. Well this is anime, so this fits pretty well.

Quote from: Anime News Network
Arc System Works presented the story, cast, and staff for BlazBlue Alter Memory, the upcoming anime of its fighting game franchise, at its Arc System Works Festival event in Yokohama on Sunday.

The story is set in December of 2199, when the streets are full of anticipation for the end of the year and the start of the new one. Amid the celebrations, word spreads that Ragna the Bloodedge, an SS-class rebel with the highest ever bounty on his head, has appeared in the 13th Hierarchical City of Kagutsuchi. The apparent aim of Ragna or the "Grim Reaper" is the destruction of the system controlling the world. To collect the bounty, a motley array of unrivaled fighters converge on Kagutsuchi.

The games' cast members reprise their roles in the anime:

  • Tomokazu Sugita as Ragna the Bloodedge
  • Kanako Kondou as Noel Vermillion
  • Tetsuya Kakihara as Jin Kisaragi
  • Kana Ueda as Rachel Alucard
  • Yūichi Nakamura as Hazama
  • Chiwa Saito as Taokaka
  • Chiaki Takahashi as Litchi Faye-Ling
  • Kenji Nomura as Iron Tager
  • Asami Imai as Tsubaki Yayoi
  • Chie Matsuura as Kokonoe
  • Tomomi Isomura as Makoto Nanaya

The games' Toshimichi Mori is supervising the project, and Hideki Tachibana (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kira) is directing the anime at teamKG and Hoods Entertainment. Seiji Mizushima (Fullmetal Alchemist, Mobile Suit Gundam 00) is collaborating on the direction. Deko Akao (Arakawa Under the Bridge, Mysterious Girlfriend X) is overseeing the series scripts being co-written by Tatsuya Takahashi (The IDOLM@STER, Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~). Tomoyuki Shitaya (Bakuman., Hatsukoi Limited, Kiss×sis) is serving as both character designer and chief animation director. The rest of the staff includes:

  • Art Director: Shigemi Ikeda (Atelier Musa)
  • Color Key: Haruko Nobori (Hiwa)
  • Director of Photography: Koujirou Hayashi (Graphinica)
  • Editor: Masato Yoshitake (Graphinica)
  • Sound Director: Masaki Tsuchiya
  • Sound Production: Studio Mausu
  • Music Production: Lantis

The anime will premiere this fall.

Youtube is sparing you the waste of your time.
I watched it on my Xbox's LIVE Event Player. What a waste... :\

Speaking to us at the big event in Redmond today, Microsoft corporate vice president Phil Harrison clarified a couple of details about the system's used game policy and explained that there will be a solution for people who want to trade games with their friends.

Here's how the system works: when you buy an Xbox One game, you'll get a unique code that you enter when you install that game. You'll have to connect to the Internet in order to authorize that code, and the code can only be used once. Once you use it, that game will then be linked to your Xbox Live account. "It sits on your harddrive and you have permission to play that game as long as you’d like," Harrison said.

But what if you want to bring a game disc to a friend's house and play there? You'll have to pay a fee—and not just some sort of activation fee, but the actual price of that game—in order to use a game's code on a friend's account. Think of it like a new game, Harrison says.

"The bits that are on that disc, you can give it to your friend and they can install it on an Xbox One," he said. "They would then have to purchase the right to play that game through Xbox Live."

"They would be paying the same price we paid, or less?" we asked.

"Let’s assume it’s a new game, so the answer is yes, it will be the same price," Harrison said.

Wouldn't the original Xbox be heavier?
Yeah but with all this stupid crap they're doing with it, I'm pretty sure people will chuck more Xbox ONEs at Mircosoft's door than Xbox Phats.

I don't know Microsoft very well, but chances are they might not care until the sales figures come back.
If that's the case, let the reality of their stupid decisions hit them hard like a ton of Xbox ONEs.

Yeah, and Halo Games used to be playable on PCs.

Now I don't think you can, because they want people playing it on the console.
Why? With the right parts (and if you have the money, granted this shitting box will cost about half of a decent gaming-spec PC), PCs can have more processing and graphical potential than a console.

So it has no backwards compatibility but you can transfer your achievements?  WHAT THE [tornado fang]ing HELL IS THAT GOOD FOR!?  B(
You just summed everything I wanted to say about that. :O

Haha, let's not go nuts. It won't kill Microsoft's entry into the console market. It will always have it's loyal philes, just like Nintendo & Sony. And if it really starts hurting sales, they get rid of the "fee" very quickly.
Adding to that, they should also get rid of charging people to play games online with friends every year/3 months. X(

No, it can. But you have to pay extra for it. So, say a friend wants to lend you a game you want to try before deciding to buy it. Well, you have to pay a fee for that now.

Wow. [tornado fang]ing, wow. That just further adds to Microsoft as nothing but a bunch of greedy bastards.

Oh yeah, the PS4 & Wii U will still do the used games thing. But XBox is still a hot commodity and losing a 3rd of their used game vulturism is pretty huge.
Wait, so that means if I get a game used, it can't played on the Xbox ONE? How many times are they going to shoot themselves in the crouch until they realized they're screwing up? BIG TIME!

Well I'm glad I got a Wii in 2006, although the default storage space is a pain in the ass. :\

I didn't realize they actually had different models. :\
I saw an article about it somewhere, which kinda surprised me they'd go anorexic with the Wii, but I forgot where it was.
