Oh, forgot about Summer of Arcade. Thanks for making Xbox 360 owners wait even longer, Summer of Arcade, though it's not like I'll be able to get $20 card with all this crap going on lately. So much for Day 1 purchase... :'(

Who's [tornado fang]ing and what are they [tornado fang]ing with to make online petitions demanding Xboned to go back to this DRM bullshit again?! o-O

Can anybody explain the huge gap between the Wii U/PS3/PC version and the Xbox 360 version release dates? ::) No boxed love for the Wii U version? :'(

1205
It only took them, like, forever to change that [parasitic bomb].

Microsoft are truly even more revolutionary than Nintendo and Sony.

I hear this thing won't even have a power button!

And last bit of update that I got for now: What happens when you take Panzer Dragoon and blend it with Gradius in the form a free-roaming shoot 'em up? Diadra Empty (Japanese), a doujin shooter by Frozen Orb that happens to be Rockin' Android's latest localization. You can find the game at DESURA, Amazon, GamersGate, Rice Digital, and its up for vote on Steam Greenlight.

"Once I'm done here, somebody's gonna clean up this scrap heap."

1207
I hope they plan on making pre-paid cards with monetary value ($20, $50, etc.) like PSN and Steam does when the update launches.

1208
Oh yea, speaking of Xbox LIVE, an update is coming to the service and one of the changes includes a change of currency. This probably means no more ambigous Microsoft Points (none of that 80 MSP = $1 USD nonsense) and hopefully something more straight-forward (like PSN's way of using currency or something of nature).

1209
They don't charge the comsumers for patches, they charge developers to patch their games (I should of made that much more clearly), and at the time devs were charged for patches more than 4MB in size (this was the reason the XBLA version of Skullgirls got patched much later than PSN).

1210
let's be honest

the only truly good scene worthy of a screenshot

is sabin suplexing the ghost train.
>0<

Anyway, it seems that back in April Micro$oft is now no longer charging developers for patching games (and it's about damn time; something tells me this has to do with Xboned's backlash), and in light of this, Fez is finally getting it's muched-need patch to fix the save corruption bug. Probably too late for that, especially since the PC version is out already out, but at least the developers are considerate for the XBLA version.

You hear that, Konami? You have no excuse to not patch the Xbox 360 version of Z.O.E HD Collection now! >8|

Back when I had a PS2, I beaten KH2 on Normal and Proud mode (only because I wanted to see the secret ending)... :'(

I can't play Doom 64 or Doom 3 BECAUSE it's lacking the sick metal riffs.
Brutal Doom's metal remixes should be up your alley then. It'so metal, it was approved Dethklock as "So Metal, It's Awesome". >0<

I've been messing around with Doom 64 EX v2.3, and I have to say Kaiser did a pretty good job with this conversion of the N64 original. Hi-resolution settings (4:3 settings needs work though since the screen doesn't center in fullscreen), custom settings to enable mouse-look (not just for turning, but also able to look up and down, which is nice so I can admire pixelated hellish scenery) and whatnot, customizable controls (although I don't have much of choice with a Xbox 360 controller unfortunately; only "classic" or "modern" presets). Despite being only made for 32-bit systems, I was able to run this on my brother's Windows 7 64-bit just fine. This a pretty good alternative for Doom 3 since the music here in Doom 64 is not the rockin' metal style from Doom 1 and 2 (which I don't mind), but instead we're treated to some rather dark, dreary, and ominous music. Have a listen.

This is my first time playing Doom 64 in any shape or form. I didn't knew about this installment of Doom at all until I saw HVGN's review on it, and instead of being another port of Doom, this is an entirely new game. I'm liking this Doom though, its right up there next to Doom 3 of the two Doom games I've ever played. So far I got into the first secret level, Hectic, and this secret level is kicking my balls around like a hacky sack since I'm playing this on "I Own Doom". If the Arachnotrons didn't kill me when I went down in one of the rooms to get the red skull key and rocket launcher, it'll be the lava pit in the other room with the blue skull key since its so frickin' easy to fall off a ledge. And if that doesn't do it, it's the damn Hell Knights in that same room that will. :P

Whoops, overlooked that when I made the post. Forget me then...

Ouch that really sucks dude.
It does. The itching was just unpleasant, to put it mildly, and it occurred on my calves and my forearms. I get woken up at 2-3 in the morning and I had to use ice to numb the itching away. :|

If anything, we'll see the dub of the movie on CN whenever they get their hands on it. They aired the dubbed version of the Arceus movie a few times if I recall correctly, but I think that was probably after the DVD got released.

Heeeeey I'm back from vacation. :D

Sorry, that was a lie. In case anyone is wonder where I was for the month, I was recovering from poison ivy. Yea, not fun. B(

My family went to the hospital around 11 PM only for the damn place to be [tornado fang]ing packed with patients, so we waited HOURS until I was called to be checked. Then we waited HOURS again to see the doctor who going to threat me, give me some shots, and a prescription for medication to threat the poison ivy on my arms and legs. And in case anyone's wondering how I even got poison ivy in the first place, it was about a month and a half ago, I think I mentioned somewhere in the current "what are you thinking" thread when I though I had bug bites, I was helping my dad at the other house that we're repairing before getting kicked out from the one we live in currently, and we were cutting up and burning down a crapload of tree branches that were making a mess of the backyard. The backyard was also infested with poison ivy and oak trees growing around the house next to ours and I ended getting it on my clothes, arms, and legs (and some of those frickin' plants had thorns them).

I'm feeling better now, though I still itch almost every night and I still have the scars from the rashes at the moment.

This weekend I'll be off to San Diego until Monday or Tuesday. Might pop in now and again until then but for the most part I'll be offline.
Have fun.

There is a "No DRM Summer Sale" going on in GOG until July 5th.

Torchlight is a free game until June 20th.
Dammit. Thanks to my brother, I missed the offer. >8|

Can believe I let this bit of deals for Rockin' Android's doujin games slip by. Between June 6th-July 17, you can get five of Rockin' Android's games via Amazon.com for $9.99. The games are:

- Acceleration of SUGURI X-Edition HD (Shoot 'em Up/Fighting)
- GundeadliGne (Horizontal Shoot 'em Up)
- Flying Red Barrel ~Diary of a Little Aviator~ (Vertical Shoot 'em Up)
- Qlione (Arena Shooter)
- And cloudphobia (Horizontal Shoot 'em Up)

And I doubt this will interest anyone unless you like off-the-wall randomness and don't mind the amateur look of the game, Banzai Pecan: The Last Hope for the Young Century is on sale for $3.59 at DESURA although there's plenty of time get it while it's cheap.

Quote from: Don Mattrick
Since unveiling our plans for Xbox One, my team and I have heard directly from many of you, read your comments and listened to your feedback. I would like to take the opportunity today to thank you for your assistance in helping us to reshape the future of Xbox One.

You told us how much you loved the flexibility you have today with games delivered on disc. The ability to lend, share, and resell these games at your discretion is of incredible importance to you. Also important to you is the freedom to play offline, for any length of time, anywhere in the world.
Yea I wonder if the "you're a [tornado fang]ing idiot", "DRM is horseshit", "no gamer gives a [tornado fang] about sports and TV", and anything else in between came across Microsoft... -_- If you want win people over, you should:

- Focus on making it a GAMING PLATFORM
- Cut the TV bullcrap
- Drop Kinect requirement
- Lower the damn price; you're not going to persuade Sony/Nintendo fans from adopting to PS4/Wii U anytime soon with a $500-600 price tag
- Name it something other than "Xbox One" (we get where you're coming at, but it's a stupid name)
- Make the system DRM-free and offline capable form the get-go and not require a patch to do that, you still have plenty of time to undo your stupidity
- Adding to the above, don't ever dare of changing your minds about the DRM and internet requirement midpoint of its life-cycle
- Make it backwards compatible with Xbox 360 games
- Stop bloating Xbox LIVE with ads when people pay for their Gold membership, and stuff that's not really important in general
- And stop making online multiplayer require a quarterly/annual fee, some of us are sick of it

1221
I second this though its not like I have many people on my Twitter to spread the word far enough to make a difference...

Well if you put way, it does (although I always thought of it as moving your head oppose to your body), but since I'm used to way I play FPS/TPS, it'll take some time for me adjust to using to inverted Y axis.

As for flying, its much easier for me to use inverted Y axis since I always think of pulling the stick back to ascend and vice-versa.

I could never understand why so many FPS/TPS players invert the Y axis. Maybe because I'm so used regular Y axis... :\

Although I sometimes change that if a game has flight involved.

Me too. If anyone knows about comics in my family, it's my older brother.

Finally got around cleaning my older brother's old GameCube controller and it was flithy, flithy, flithy! Crud and dirt all around the inside of the cracks, buttons, the sticks, the Nintendo GC logo on the back and what else it was in. Really hate how Nintendo have to use those tri-winged screws, it takes a 2mm flathead screwdriver to unscrew those and the one I had has no grip, so trying to loosen those was a pain. I had to get my father's 2mm flathead screwdriver to get the controller open. I took the parts (save for the motherboard, the screws, and the spring-loaded L and R buttons) and scrubbed and brushed clean with dish soap and alcohol then dried it out with a hair dryer.

Then I looked at the mother, there was hair around the sticks' mechanism. I can understand dust and lint, but small bits of hair? How does hair get into something sealed tighter than Sony sealing the deal at E3?

Well its cleaned now, though I got another one to do... :\
