What he does in X8 is not exactly conventional teleportation.

Sigma's powers in X8 are quite different, actually. Mostly his use of vanishing in the midst of battle and of course, the Sigma Blade. It's a form that should have made him invincible, but alas, that battle was three versus one.

MarshmallowMan, some X8 book.

I always assumed something like Final Sigma W from X5 would be his ultimate battle form.

Kaiser Sigma and Final Sigma W were his ultimate battle bodies at that time in the series. X8 Sigma trumps them both, apparently.

It is Sigma's strongest battle body ever. It was also scheduled to undergo maintenance, but the Hunters arrived before that time.

Any relation between that body and the virus, however, is unknown.

We've been over this, the illustrations accompanying Vile's Incident, specifically a single piece across pages 2 and 3, indicate that Levi at least is very much alive, as her ankles are visible and unlike Phantom's clearly solid.

I meant that I do not consider that picture as any guarantee of their status as dead or alive. Not only does it allow characters such as X and Phantom a previously unseen materialized appearance, it is also complete fanon to exclaim that all of them have to have their feet obscured by special effect. For example, X's effects are clearly far more heavy than Phantom's. Between dead since Ciel was 9, dead since Zero1 and dead since Zero3, why would they all be the same?

Furthermore, your often cited ankles are just one of Leviathan's feet; she is not standing on flat ground. We have no precedence of how X and Phantom would appear in this position. The effects always obscure two feet at the same height with one ring, never two uneven height feet. Thus there are many clear cut rationale behind the lack of effects on Leviathan.

See, even if they were alive in Nakayama's vision whilst drawing. We never had any indication to believe that image would appear any differently even if they were dead. Had they shown that image AFTER they had stated them as dead, we would have all accepted it as their post mortum materialization.

This was a scene in-continuity, but their status was never ever made clear. Inti is very much right about the vagueness of the scene; we are missing its factual context.

Quote
Developer interviews around that time frame also stated that the remaining Guardians were alive and merely off-screen during Z4.

Developer interview was a clear cut; "maybe". Never fact. This is out of continuity. Unless you also believe Ciel's age of perhaps 5, 6 was in-continuity too. Staff guessing is just that, guessing; they rectified it to age 9 as of RZOCW. The same is true of the Guardians and this interview.

Quote
It is senseless to kill three characters in a scenario which a fourth, closest to ground zero survived

The "sense" of the whole set up was never in question. Inti has clearly elaborated on why Zero survived.

The question here is one of "retroactive continuity". As in, does what Into say go against what was previously established fact? I say no, all it goes against is what the fans themselves thought of as fact. The Vile's Incident image is inconclusive due to lack of context. The interview is inconclusive because of staff guessing. Inti simply had not yet established their true fate, neither dead, nor alive were factual. TELOS even indicates the probability of their death, just as much as their survival. That is why it was entirely within Inti's right to determine this later on.

As for what the game presents, that too lacks any real facts. You yourself should know best not to see engine specific explosion as the definite death of a character. Omega could still be standing after Zero's attack, and deliver a Phantom style moment long after the screen fade. If we however had seen the aftermath of our engine-specific explosion and certain sprites would have vanished, then would we have actual facts of their fate in the game.

(Retrospect1 Elf Wars) Episode in ZERO3
Cyber X: Zero...  You can do it...  You...

Cyber X: The radiance of lives born from the stars...  The cries of the machines created to resemble humans...  The flames of the conflicts that arose from their ideas...  None of these reaches here anymore.  The scenes that rise from the depths of my consciousness as it melts away into the electronic abyss engulfed in silence, Zero, are my memories of the battlefield of a century ago when I fought together with you.  What I can hear, is the last words you left behind a hundred years ago.

X: I...we...are not fighting to enslave anyone.  We are not fighting to injure anyone.  We just...want to create a world where everyone can cooperate!
Omega: Guooooo...
Zero: Omega...after fighting with another one of myself, I finally understood.  What kind of battles I have been fighting up to now.  What my hesitation was up to now.  Now I can say.  My power isn't meant for destruction.  It exists to protect with my friend those he believes in!  (Zero attacks Omega.)  Begone!  My nightmare!
X: Farewell, my destiny.
Zero and X: Final Strike!

Scientist: There hasn't been time for a complete sealing.  Since the suspension of his functions has already begun, I don't know whether a satisfying conversation will be possible.
X: Zero.
Zero: X...?
X: ...Will you be all right like this?  Even though you've been fighting for everyone's sake...in a state like this.
Zero: As long as I'm around...the bloodstained history will repeat itself.
X: Something like that...what are you talking about, Zero!
Zero: I've been constantly thinking...  For whom...for what...must we Repliroids kill one another...  Even at such a time...you kept believing in humans...  I trust you as my friend...  So...the words of the humans whom you believe in...I want to believe in.
(The siren goes off.)
X: Stop!  Stop the sealing right now!
Zero:  It's okay, X..  It's already...half...

You know, I've seen people dislike Animagic for its functionality, but I very much prefer it because it's a simple program. And most of all, it keeps the exact colors of whatever you have, making it a useful conversion program.

I reckon Subaru is the same as age as Netto was when the games begin. After all, they're both in fifth grade. Netto was 11 when the series began. The Peace incident was 3 years ago, to the day, so he seemingly was 8 when his father disappeared.

SciLab doesn't move. It's the same SciLab in EVERY game it appears in. They just showed new parts of the same SciLab at times. I believe some of you are actually confusing NAXA for SciLab.

Dr.Mxues a character with bad behaviour but good reasons. Now I decided that he should be completely insane

Who is this Dr. Mxues, what's he look like and why is his shorthand name so easily confused with Wily's alias from Rockman6?

MXN = Mr.X Number. Might want to rethink that. Honestly, DMN and a big M logo without the X would be so much nicer.

Not like any in-continuity source actually stated they were alive, either. Vile's Incident included.

Particularly Zero considering they retconned a bunch of [parasitic bomb] after the second one so they could cram in two more games.

That's not really the case at all. The ZERO-series changed throughout the whole series. That's simply its unfortunate position of having to compete with the ongoing X-series; it's story changed in the first game, and everything beyond that is an attempt to bring it back closer to their original vision whilst expanding their world more and more. As such, it is the second game, not anything after, that changed the series.

In my opinion, it's the X-series that's the worst of the three. Having a bunch of totally unrelated conflicts with the same old cast and final boss, whilst jumping about in character and revelation focus.

It's too bad the story for ZX/ZX Advent weren't as strong as X and Zero.

You might want to replay these games. I don't know why people keep citing this as the opposite is true; ZX is a much more consistent and well thought out story that does everything right that the previous series did wrong. The X and ZERO-series cannot compare to it.

ZX / Re: Who exactly created the Biometals?

Perfectly understandable.  Albert as a character was not introduced before ZX Advent, nor were Model W's origins completely explained.  It was only stated that it was derived from the remnants of Ragnarok, but how it got to be something capable of transforming others with the R.O.C.K. system was never explored, nor were the origins of Pandora and Prometheus, the self-proclaimed voices of Model W.

Albeit perfect understandable. This is a case of people adding a clear cut identities to the vague  "that man" references when there clearly wasn't half the time. In retrospect, ZX's vague reference are perfectly understandable when thinking with Albert in mind, making the notion of Weil creating Model W a rather silly thing; Weil IS Model W. The only thing he could have possibly made were the Model W fragments, which are derivative of himself.

However, for those that still cling to such a notion; even with Albert in the equation, it is actually true still; Ashe did implicate Model W as corrupting Albert. Thus everything can easily be brought full circle by saying that Weil facilitated his transformation to Model W by manipulating Albert. Which is something I even entertained when the Sage Trinity were first shown; if Weil wanted to make more Model W's, he'd have to use a puppet to that end, Albert with his scientific knowledge immediately stuck out as quite the candidate.

as shown my ZXA's Big 4 being similar to the small 4 they are using.

You know, initially the fanbase used the term "small 4" to describe Aeolus and the others, not their Biometals. Funny how you like totally turned that upside down.

And any correlation between Chosen One and Biometal is complete nonsense in-universe; they were all supposed to be Model W Mega Men. It could only make sense if Albert somehow could anticipate the match ups of new Chosen Ones with Ciel's biometals, and even then he sorely messed up with Vent and Aile both having Model X. Not to mention that it begs the question of what happened to the Model W Mega Men other than Serpent.

That is not in the least canonical fact.  It is a personal statement by Ryuji Higurashi in regards to why he chose to redesign X for Command Mission

Another thing to note is that, his statement is limited solely to combat model Reploids because the notion of civilian Reploids as indistinguishable from humans certainly isn't true by a long shot. It's only X's armor and some others in the game that reflect the ZERO-series' combat Reploid designs.

Also, wasn't he just talking about it being in the same "timeframe"? It's very much true that XCM is indeed the game closest to the ZERO-series in terms of timeframe, even when ZERO isn't in 22XX. After all, it's a reference to design and technology; the ZERO-series' combat Reploid designs have remained unchanged in the 100 years following Elf Wars, and especially in the 200 years following Ragnarok. All in all, it simply means the design elements we see in the ZERO-series are starting to emerge in 22XX, starting with things like X's new armor. Meaning at best that the Elf Wars could be in 22XX.

You hate Evangelion? Too bad.... I actually enjoyed it from the beginning to the very end.

I do not hate Evangelion, in fact, I considered it an enjoyable series myself. However, that does not take away that I can see why many others wouldn't enjoy it; what was then considered innovative also reeks of bad execution.

All in all, the series does a deliberately bad job at explaining itself, moving quite slowly before going into a deranged mind [tornado fang] scenario, whilst covering itself in needless Christianity references and all the way having an angst filled main character who deliberately inverts everything that normally makes a main character. Yes, the very things that make Evangelion famous are exactly the same things that makes it infamous.

ZX carries many of the same concepts, but carries its execution in such a manner that vague foreshadowing, symbolism and mind [tornado fang] do not needlessly detract your attention from the facts, which all in all makes it a more easier to understand despite being similar.

Evangelion is just an acquired taste, is all. Some like it, some don't. Just the way it is.

There's many reasons to hate Evangelion, the aforementioned similarities aren't any of them. You can start hating ZX when it presents us a wussy protagonists and when it becomes needlessly confusing by an overuse of theatrical religious references.
