I'd call that game Monster Rancher

And I've bred a lizard and a lobster to give me a lobzard with a good amount of attack power from the father (the lizard was to the end of it's lifespan). It was [tornado fang]ing awesome.

And It's only a theory, but since most disney princess movies are technically based off of darker myths, should Mulan have committed Seppoku in the origional tale after she dishonored her family (the elder flat-out pointed this out in the film too!), and Princess and the Frog might have been based off a similar story too? I never understood them, since I knew their origins were public domain..

If a kid were to say "Hey, where can I find a home for imaginary friends?" to me, I'd reply with "Well, if you want to know where they're at, check out at the HFIL."

It looks like the fake Ira went berserk, and started thinking it was the real thing. It captured it's master as he feared he would start a resistance, but Ira just wanted to use the replica in case he was arrested by the government; and the plan backfired on him.

Thus ends the battle for world domination, and Ira is freed from his prison. The world is safe.. for now.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I dunno why they'd bother putting X in separately if Capcom apparently feels he plays so similarly to Zero (Maverick weapons, dammit, there's gotta be something to work with there).

Soul Body/Rolling Sheild/Tornado Fang/Silk Shot/Tri-Thunder/Meteor Rain/Sniper Missile/Shining Ray combo anyone? :3

Are you kidding? I'm sure everyone does, MvC3 Hsien-Ko is just depressing :(

Kinda played Hisen-Ko on Chaos Tower with Vampire Saviour mechanics turned on she was fun to use.

I'm thinking of a good rage-quitting team, possibly that locks opponents into an near-infinite combo, then finishing it with a Lv4 super. I was thinking about having Zero doing the job with the combos, with Wright as the finisher. Thinking about having Dr. Strange providing backup in case one of them gets K'Oed.

Since Little Planet was more or less a mystical planet anyway that had it's own orbit, timezone, and atmosphere, which was a plot device built around Sonic CD's gimmick.

And temporal amnesia and a possible time cancer was caused by his Sonic '06 venture. Can't blame the poor hedgehog for having to jump through time to save the multiverse..

That makes it an essence, therefore makes it a [sonic slicer].

So basically if they killed Cell at that time, it would create another branch, making it possible that cell would still exist, but not the cell from the main future. That leaves Trunks and Cell two possible outcomes. Cell hatched quick enough to kill trunks and escape to the past, and Cell hasn't hatched yet in Trunk's origional timeline, etc. etc.

Good point. At least the whole time travel thing is handled better in Generations than it was in 06 (in the long run caused poor sonic to get temporal amnesia and quite possibly time cancer from constant time jumps)..  X(

Whats wrong with Eagle gettin' some?

I didnt mind what he did with Mammoth. It was interesting, especially the way he could repair his body with reploid body parts. Makes it a bit more body horror from a robot's POV. and a bit more psych horror for X.

Gaia:Not sure what you mean about Octopus flashback.

I meant is when Merti made the deal with Octopus to protect the oceans before the betrayal. Not sure where that came from, but.. Everything else seemed to be backstory heavy.. sans Octopus. I guess Iwamoto didin't want to undermine Merti with huge amounts of dialouge.

Baby Cell is destroyed in the present timeline, and all is we-- WAIT A MINUTE!! That should trigger a paradox, causing the Cell from another time period to dissapear and no longer exist. The Cell Gohan took on might've been from another dimension. Time Travel's a [sonic slicer].

About a 3rd had girlfriends in the manga actually. (X/Merti, Eagle/Teal, Zero/Iris(? Can't recall the X4 manga), etc.) Some plot points in the manga were confusing, as there was no flashback on Octopus' part. How'd they make that deal again?  o~O

Gaia unleashes some Kyuukonman, who are a more expensive variant of the casual Saibamen to stir up some chaos, and probably take the lazy route in getting some of the treasure.

Another subject is Akira Toriyama. I'd shudder if he were to draw a Mega Man character.. *shudders the thought of Mega Man X looking a lot like Cell* but alas, times change yo? There's always room for improvements.

I took a good look at Iwamoto's style again and the eyebrows aren't as thick (along with the overall outlines he had going on) as they were during his X1-4 run, he's certainly improved since then. But for dialouge.. eh, I'm ready for some corny soujo shishkabob for the -eventual- X5-8 adaptions.

DBZ Legendary Super Warriors' release date (US): June 30, 2002. It's 2011, and by that mathematical theory, the game itself is about 9 years old now, along with one of the most notorious spriting styles on the web, including styles that won't be introduced until the debut of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, and Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

I picked up the special package; so at least money well spent (the one with the OST).

Say, the "Mysterious Boy" turned out to be a girl named Elh.. but I knew the giveaway right from the get-go, I've seen this gag before. Though, Lewis (Let's just call that "thing" that) seems to be a cross between Zerkom and Eva-01 from my prespective. I've also done the sub-plot in which Red works for a transvestite.

Another thing, being the last of your clan always sucks. Ask Vegeta. A LOT of puns though, "Star Dogs" for one.

For the character Red himself I'd say he's a reverse-werewolf. He's an anthromorphic dog in certain cases goes into this superhuman form, and merges with the mecha. He's also your typical freelancer.. but he can p. much be Captain Obvious at times. The backup characters do give more of a MMZ/MML feel more or so how you got the cool guy, the babe, and the guy always ready for a fight, along with Elh's bro, who fills Phantom's role (but doesn't die.. yet, I'm waiting; game).

Bruno was more or so a "COME AT ME BRO!" villan. Seriously, he has quite a hand thing going on there.. dunno what it is, but he looks like he's ready to claw someone's face off most of the time.. but can't shake the feeling Lewis was meant to mirror Bruno. Eh. Air Robo GP's a good way to build rings quick, and the best one's for me the purple mech. Anyway, game's a-okay for now. Thoughts for round 2 will come later~

Never go into a double-battle with Hitoshi Argia without a second thought. Grass and Ice combos will murder most types.

Past self travels to the future, masters the tech, and travels back in time to interfere with their 'future' selves before returning to their proper time.

Like in certain plot points during crossover event comics! *rimshot*

I should try anthro. Only problem is that creativity's a [sonic slicer], and all I got here is the SolatoRobo manual so that I can garner some design influinces, here goes nothin', one big ol' lizard, comin' right up!

They've also bitched about Spyro's design, and that quite raises an eyebrow. Of course one has to buy all the characters, but you'd have to be mad for that.  XD

Plus Radiance is the currency, so if you can die once another Skylander can take over until you fork over the Radiance to revive your fallen Skylander. Died quite a few times for certain prediciments, at the end of the task, get to the goal, since they give you a time limit to leave the stage once you finish the appointed task(s). It's also good for upgrades and whatnot.

At least they got rotating platforms down, that can present quite a few intresting challenges if properly placed. It's just good platforming with a diffrent gimmick, which is all I can say. My final opinion will come once I take out Hecktor, though. He's on the 3DS, on the consolse you just fight Kaos, who sounds an awful lot like Invader Zim..

DBZ Ultimate Tenkaichi

The voice acting sounds like they simply took voice clips from DBZ (old voices) and Kai (new voices), and the character creation is lackluster and limited (but, with this being a first for a DBZ game, it's forgivable).

It'd be familiar to Torigeeks (Akira Toriyama fans who play just for his work) that have played the Dragon Quest games that had this type of customization before.

Meanwhile, I recently aquired Sonic Boom, which if I recall, is a griffin who lives up to his name. Hold the B button and he sends foes that fight close range flying, plus his air elemental prowess also helped with the elemental challenges, which brings me closer into completing the intro stage. I still need three more elements though (earth, fire, and tech) and I could manage that.

Skylanders can be considered to be a completionist's dream (or nightmare, considering there are 10+ characters to buy physically, which seems to cost $7.00 a piece) and each level contains three levels and a pair of challenge levels (which is indicated by a small, inclosed area) with their own tasks to partake. Each earning you a crystal if you complete it. So far the hardest bit was avoiding the cactuses due to the icy terrain of the obligitory ice world.

And time for a Level Update:

Dark Spyro is now Lv10, and can't go any higher.
Chop Chop's also maxed to Lv10.
Sonic Boom has had a huge level boost, so he's Lv5.
Stealth Elf is only Lv6.
And Ignitor is only at Lv4. Guy's got a long way to go..
