X / The Exploitables -- X Edition!

Glitches. You know 'em, ya love 'em. Especially when you [tornado fang] around with bosses. Tell me, when was your first time exploiting a boss? Be it Sigma X1, Crystal Snail, Zero X2..

My first time exploiting the hell out of a boss was the X1 Sigma (form 1) boss battle. Who knew to get him into a loophole to make the battle go quicker?

On the subject, how about that one glitch where X got stuck into a wall? There's tons of 'em, so share your stories too.

I just thought of something..

What if RS just re-imagined the whole artstyle so it fits the american demographic overall theme, and if the artstyle was carried over to Upon-A-Star, another project going on possibly the same time, which thought it'd be more fitting for an edutainment OVA than an action series? I mean, the Lionmen would look out of place in the origional style drawn by Keiji Inafune, and might have to be redrawn.

'Jus saying.

And I was just getting into this.

Damn. Oh well, at least Prof. Layton will hold me over around until Fate/zero hits eBay. Then again, March is a pretty busy month. I might consider it. Though, it would be nice if they threw in the Fate/Extra demo in as a bonus, would've been a neat touch.

It's official: Dragonball Ripping has begun, starting with the NES Gokuden RPG series! What fun! Since I started on Freeza, I'm gonna need the rest of his missing frames, and forms. Goku too. Goku'll be easy, since he appeared in all the games. It will also help me understand the sprite style a little further, as towards the line, I'll rip the only gaiden game of the series, Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans, as I got some of the frames from the enemies of that game, but they die way too [tornado fang]ing quick.

Pulling off the supers will be a problem too, unlike the LSW madness that has struck the internet once. I'll start with Hatchiyack, that one boss with the least amount of frames, if I can get him to pull all the right moves, and animget doesn't break on me though..

I just realized that my brother threw away a very useful book from my childhood while cleaning one day. I understand plenty of people who drew when they were young used how to draw books, but bah! I wanted to try it out to see if I've improved since the book's last use.

And with that, some of the combat weakspots carry over as well, sometimes by accident. Oh well.

Hmm. How about a 16th-century gothic dark knight in the style I use (apologies for some things, and the incomplete creature. It's just style practice, and it doesn't have an official name yet)?

sample of mentioned style.

Do yourself a favor and avoid SEED: Destiny, if you can. I got a lot of memories thanks to a cop-out episode.

Fate/Zero. I summarized what happened so far, and it's quite intresting how they handled the series' maturity without the series' titular characters so far. Around 05:25, I feel that was good enough, and to take a break. This anime feels long, but I'll adjust to it sometime when I get around to finishing it, I'm used to 05:00 being the halfway point in (most) anime, it's pretty long. (around 42:00 I belive for the first half at Anime44, I'd dread watching it on youtube with this string of parts!) (LORD) Kiritsugu was a good way to kick the episode off though.

And in comes a new sonic fancharacter fad of having neondroid versions of their fancharacters, but at least it's a better sculpt than what the US has seen. *calls back to the time in which the the brown tails plush looks like someone hit him in both cheeks*

891
I'll start with Fate/zero then. The VN would masterfully shoot my computer down, due to it's gigabyte payload. Dammit guys, where's the Fate/Mini mini-VN?

Studio DEEN's version would be a good choice to start, then.. now to FIND it.

892
Maybe japan does, but bah. Then again, I never watched anything Type-Moon. Might as well start here. Where can I find a good place to watch it, I have no idea.

You know, I take a moment to wonder if the art style influenced their choice in voice actors, and I am very thankful that the show turned out the way it did.  For as awesome as the promo is, some gremlin in the back of my head keeps telling me that a show in that style would have gotten something akin to the MM8 cast...

Either that would've been hilariously cheesy.. or outright sad since MM8 (I think) was released during that time period. Imagine Dr. Wily's voiceover working wonders.  XD

And I just remembered something.. If the show was an americanization of the blue bomber around that time period, this -may- have an artistic influence, since it's well.. commercial clips from the NES era. (I can recognize bits of it from the JAP Rockman commercials, and some of the parts were used in the opening!)

By the besalisk's foot, that must've been dreadful, but in the end it managed to be a continuous source of inspiration. Plus you got to draw a Clone Wars character for the first time!  :3

Worked around a good stradegy in Shining Force. Whenever by a lake, place two of your rangers behind the lake, so that way they could pick off anything that's across the lake in front of them, useful for this chapter.
