Or it could be a card-based platforming with RPG elements, you know, like a mix between Network Transmission and ZX, that would be pretty good.
Network Transmission was kinda fun.. but Quickman's stage.. argh..

Explains the fillers. And Kakashi's true identity is Sigma, flat out. That's what under his mask, a butt-chin. 'Cmon Acid, you know you want to draw Kakashi with a butt-chin for awhile now. (Series insult with a far superior OVA)
Aside from that, the "Mode" thing is kinda for robots. And yea, that's lame, It makes SEED's berserkers look good compared to Naruto's "Something Modes".

« on: April 11, 2009, 11:01:56 PM »...I've seen better looking "boss" designs in our own art forum, and that's seven times out of 10 not a good thing.
As long as this gets ripped apart by Zero in some form, I'm fine with it. But for the love of god, no more EXE or Starforce. I'm delighted 3 ended the series, though EXE 3 was supposed to be the end, then they whipped out that half-assed pile of turd called EXE4.
One problem: There hasn't been a main series game in awhile, and by the looks of it this thing's appearance looks like something relaiting to EXE and Starforce, so there may be a new series based upon those two to please the kiddies.

Thank you, but looks we are going to have a ZERO of the EXE series (Shooting Star Rockman is EXE's relevant X series, in terms of design wise and X series references).

Unfourtunately, a human's sanity is thinner than life of 100, as he lost his sanity during the last 50 years of solitary confinement which lead to project Ragnarok, which he was making his blueprints in Z3 in secret (it takes a year or so to make something like a Death Star), and developing the station in Z4.

They are inconsistant at best and a sequel should SHOW relations to the previous story. Legends even fails at this due to it not being outside of the normal timeline. The thread questions the writing. Not weither or not sidescrolling can be a fitting excuse. Bland charcters a go go and plotholes. They are fun games but lets be serious. Megaman gameplots are fan thories.Timelineman
Proves my point that most Video Games nowadays are like the comics of the past.
Nintendo's Super Mario Bros have no consistant plot like Marvel's Spidey, right? That makes the game and comic more fun to read, no relationship crap and what not.
Capcom's Mega Man like DC's Superman, did start with little to no plot, as so.
So yeah, that does prove a point there, but the nerds kept pestering for a plot. Go play RPGs and read your noveleties now y'all for the plot.
