I mean, really, the most backlash against the game came from those who were basically hoping for something verbatim to Guardian Heroes (SAT), and didn't get it. But as a stand-alone title, AGH ain't bad. The whole "Parry" mechanics were well-done, imo.
Now, something like MC Kidz? That's definitely something I think would be more deserving of such an accolade of being a "B-Grade" game.
Well, it was mostly the engrish that what "made it suck", and you know how plenty americans perfer violent FPS shooting games based off WWII.. So yeah, it was mostly due to the bad localization and biased reviews that "made it seem bad". :p

Well, care to say, I liked Ratchet & Clank 1. ONE. and they said it was shovelware to the PS2.. now look where the series has gone.
And of course, Treasure's Advance Guardian Heroes, as well as a few one-offs of the Mario series, I even liked Sonic Heroes.
