Off The Wall / Re: JAPAN BANS NEARLY EVERY THEME IN ADULT GAMES
« on: June 24, 2009, 01:34:55 AM »
Ah well, I still think it's the overly strict paranoia of parents that seem to get in the way when it comes to these things, they thought it was a good idea to follow a code and ban nearly everything that makes an adult game what it is, now.. adult games would only be looking up skirts an the like. Oh well, at least we get the ripped sprites of Doki Doki Majho Shinipan to enjoy our secret desires.  :\

So Japan wants to be pure, "like the states". My guess is that American religion's involved. and isin't gang crime a more "important threat" than this?  o~O

Or it could be protestant parents.

I still remember Hoodlum Havoc, that was my first Rayman game I played, followed by Arena. Globox being playable was a first for me, though I never touched the Rabbids and the GBA games of the shoulderless crusaider.

And Amy.. I'll get around that sometime..  B(

ZX / Re: So, is this series becoming another legends?
« on: June 23, 2009, 09:30:50 PM »
People STILL itch for a sequel? way to go for leaving that cliffhanger Capcom. if you excuse me, I'll replay ZX2's minigames.  8U

I remember people saying that they didn't like how fast the ZX games were coming. I'll be willing to accept that a new ZX is being slow simmered to be a big bang finish for the series.

Having the big finish for a series does take awhile to make, I'll give you that. somehow, Inti needs thier own origional series if they were wrap up ZX. Ironic that Doreamon still airs at a certain time of the day in ecuador, and inti has a game for him.   :\

I have no idea, but it's worth it to sprite Sora and use him as an avy for disney week, since, he is a character shared by both disney and square.. or Windora and Rallen (Buena Vista games, the subdivision of Disney owns these guys)..

But noneoftheless, Brawl's ATs did bring revivals, I guess it's to introduce the new fans the characters, though I haven't yet to se a StH2, even though he IS an assist trophy and the rest are cameos.

Well, I need something to do, but the scanner here has a program to scan things, but why exactly? these Epson all-in-one has it's own program to get it to scan, I don't think it's possible.

And we won't see another smash anytime soon. but if we did, Nintendo should look around Ahuron's big fighter, Card Sagas, and use that for an example, but I doubt it, it's all about intrest in projects these days, not money, of course it does the funding, and time does the attention span of a project. man, any ideas what to do with these sprites of mine? make a fighter or put them into an RPG maker? dunno.

Well, I managed to defeat the boss and gain arche, really, he's the toughest boss in the GBA version of ToP.

I haven't seen it yet, so I'll have a look at the trailer when I have extra time.

Well, after I played it a bit, I sorta lost intrest because I couldn't leave the area, and I was always constantly grinding, same with Tales of Phantasia, because I needed to beat that brick wall of a boss before you get Archie. And fighting him is a pain, he has a Golem and whatever the pink thing is with him, which makes it harder.

Having a system like that should make it easier to dodge, but it's annoying to grind against Bugbear too.

That was terms of quaility and color limitation, Copy X and Model X have diffrent helmet designs.

Besides, Model X was based off the origional X, hence why I left his shoulderpads there.

Right, I guess I should expand upon my point of view concerning Tales games. This is one series where I oftentimes actually prefer the newer entries, since the battle system is constantly evolving. Some games, while I enjoyed them before, I occasionally have a horrid time trying to go back to them (ToS especially suffers from this due to it's decidedly poorly used 3D field). Who knows, maybe I'll have a hard time going back to the currently newer entries after a later game in the series. For me, Nostalgia has absolutely no effect on me when it comes to Tales games if only for this reason.
Chances are it's mostly for the cutscenes, that's usually the case nowadays.

Actually, it has happened before with TotW: Radiant mythology. It's basically they get these "skits" and I never made it that far, so it seems that the Tales of Destiny characters in the intro are most likely fanservice, as they seem to be nowhere in sight in-game.

Other than that, I might have not payed attention to them, as the Tales games are most likely namco's equivilant to Final Fantasy, that or Xenosaga, the next overraited RPG game which seems to promote fanservice most of the time (character design wise, I think they are quite popular, since they managed to grab the spot in Mugen no Frontier).

Motion capture, I noticed it's been a few games besides this series.

Model X is between DASH and X. Look harder.

Oh, distorting anything it touches, what about forcing select pokemon to appear anytime in the day that only appeares once a selected day with Dialga? And dear, weatherly destruction is much more fun than messing with time and space. THINK OF THE BUILDINGS YOU CAN DESTROY WITH RAYQUAZA.

5773
All kinds of destructive [parasitic bomb], my dear. Imagine causing a sudden heatwave followed by earthquakes across the land? oh, hailstorms with Articuno or other ice lengendary, instant wishes with Jirachi, and all kinds of [parasitic bomb]! =D

God, all the destruction. HELL YES.

And you should re-watch the decoded episodes just in case. I remember the Battle Droids do not have a very good AI (Little or less dumb), nither 3PO (more of a coward). Eccentric, R2 is.

Anime & Manga / Re: Sailor Moon

I do remember changes in the dub, and the origional because it was there on the DVDs too. I actually have three OVAs sitting on my DVD collection, and plenty of VCR recordings sitting in my VCR collection.

And, I remember Sailor Moon's scream, oh, that SCREAM. "AIAIAIAIAIAIAIAIAIAIAIAAIIIAAA!"
