Both sprites are in the same style, really. just that the health bars stand out which makes it look like it.

Relaited cataclysmic theory my friend. they are identical, actually.

One robot goes berserk, and nearly destroys everything until defeated.

One diety goes beserk, and destroys half of whatever (be it the moon, the earth, etc), until defeated.

See the diffrence?

Actually, the Sigma before the real one on the moon made you thought the game was done.. then Lumine came and screwed the plot. yeah, it's confusing. the real one was the one that was using the last of his energy. remember, he was emitting a green arua.. remember the virus you fought in X2 that shared the same color?

:P

At least that theory has been adopted and averted.. plenty of times by a blue hedgehog who can turn into his inverted color form when near seven gems in every game as of now.

That explains why he went down easy in X8, rather than having him go down quick in X7. genticals is basically Axl's weakness. THE GEM, the all powerful life source for reploids.

Seriously, the gem what powers the reploids are visible to every one in existance. it's thier bull's eye.

Ask and you shall receive.

First off, whoever wanted a bunch of Reploids to imitate Sigma was either crazy, or just trying to be cool to impress X. instead, that pissed him off.

Second, Sigma was a powerful combat reploid, but was also a badass at the same time, and people respected him for that before "the virus" made him an evil badass. but, that was Cain's mistake in the first place, aye?

X / Re: What did Lumine mean?

Reploids were allowed to have free will; just that the old models had a little bit of it, meaning they can't be bad in any way, so their AI was limited until Copyroids showed up.

"For I am indeed Sigma", is prolly just a wannabe copyroid trying to be badass too, cute capcom, cute.

I'm pretty sure it's all part of the script. just that some are more confusing than others.

"We can go maverick at will" basically says that he can do whatever the hell he wants, because he's without a restraining bolt of the X series.

Secondly, "and.. a Man is.." is just a cathprase from Capcom trying to be badass too.

I'd thought I'd try a diffrent approach. Marina's equipped with Go Getter Right, for a good reason too, while the boss is Cutman for this mockup.

I might give Marina a 2x1 animation for each of her moves, while Cutman obviously is based off his classic counterpart: Jump and Attack. it's what I do best, basically, Cutman will not be playable, but a boss. Marina however, will be playable. I am just testing this out, no need to panic.

Marina's equipped with Go Getter Right, because obviously, her moves often involve shaking, tossing, grabbing and punching. I'm also experimenting how MHX's 2d elements work well with SNES graphics too.

Why do I still do this? it's getting awfully easy for me.

Well, that was earlier when it was in conception, this is now, I'll go edit that thanks.  It's why I hardly post outside the art gallery, sometimes things can be taken a little too seriously.

And ironic that "BRANDNEW WAY" is currently playing in my playlist. at least that's my parting gift to him. *sigh*

I disagree.  I think a lot of artists today, in every field, grew up listening to his music.

I was reffering to his competetors in the past, dude. especially those that grew up on someone else.

And you got a triple 7 postcount STM.  8U

I doubt any of the artists today won't likely care, which is a shame for them really. he's one of the biggest influences of music in years.

.. Bleh, looks like the style's gone up an inch. Saber's gonna have to stay that way, while that, I think I got around Sonic's problem with the earlier attempt, while hopefully still in style.

Sonic's 100% made in Character Raiser, and he's still (hopefully) in style, don't worry. Saber's there for height checking, I'm gonna have to seriously remake past sprites one of these days.

Lookie here, a pixel art peice that took me at least yesterday and today to finish. more info can be found on it's DA page.

Info can be found at it's DA page.

Click here for the sprite process also. just a precaution, it is still being processed. there will be a slight change of quality after process is complete, although it is still able to play.

Akward. I seem to be the only one who knows of this game, which it takes place right after Episode 1 and they celebrate their victory with a party game. Forgot the title, but Player 1 seems to control a Naboo speeder, and Player 2 controls a Gungan Steed in some race to the finish if I recall. And It's a SW1 Party game too, in the vien of Mario Party.

But doesn't the plot to Sonic Unleashed resemble quite a bit to the Cataclysim theory?  o~O

It may make sense, but I doubt it.

Pursuit->Warp->Barricade->Blast->Momentum->Energy->Fracture?

Pursuit chases Warp, Warp goes over Barracade, Barracade blocks Blast, Blast creates Momentum, Momentum generates Energy, and energy reconstructs Fracture?

Wild guess, if I'm wrong, ah well, it's just for fun anyway. Intresting RMs really. :)
