A charging train at high speeds can almost fatally wound any animal of mythos at high speeds -- except (maybe with luck and the extra MPH) Godzilla.

The Alpha Lanterns were Green Lanterns with excellent service records and dedication to the Green Lantern Corps. Those are the ones the Guardians chose to be Alpha Lanterns.
Yeah, this pretty much shows that I'm more of a Marvel Guy, rather than a DC like most of you are. You know more of the lantern corps, I know wee more of the Avengers. Sad, I know. :p

I see, give me a sec to whip up an Alpha Lantern appearance then, following a story branch on how he got that way (Following a backstory, of course).
EDIT:
"No traitor escapes my sight, I redeem those fools that plan disobedience, I am Alpha Lantern Gaia." Picture makes you wanna run for your life eh? Here's the changes:
- Red gems becomes blue
- The Metallic Blackish Blue becomes Mettalic Green
- Shoulderpads are noticably longer
- Grew another gem on the chest
- Aruas now seemingly become green, and also resembling fire more
Now... for the backstory..

I mean, the Ryu ga Gotoku (Yakuza) series? Valkyria Chronicles? Various levels of Arcade development (like Border Break)? That's all gravy.
It's when Sonic gets involved, that something usually goes wrong. Too bad that's usually the big example that's cause for people to paint with a broad brush...
So it's saying Sega can't handle thier own mascot like they used to?

« on: December 03, 2009, 04:30:45 AM »The Alpha Lanterns are a combination of Green Lantern with Manhunter (robots created by the Guardians to patrol the Universe before the Green Lantern Corps) technology. They are more powerful than your standard Green Lantern, and were created to essentially police the Green Lantern Corps, making sure they don't breach any of the rule stated in the Book of OA.
In that case, mind if someone PMs a scan of an Alpha Lantern? I'm intrested, but before I redesign to fit the theme, I gotta know what these 'bots look like first.

Hmm.. Seems that going back to traditional drawing shows I'm more of a cartoonist in the way of the Sunday Newspaper.
Tell that to every bishie rival/antagonist of the hero/heroine in these tropes. It's always going to be a Kids vs Adults thing anyway in most of these types.
I am beginning to grow annoyed at the 'Defeat Means Friendship' trope in shonen and some seinen. I don't know why it is used a lot especially in shonen but I hate this with a passion and it annoys me that hero/heroine always seem to get their way no matter what. Are trying to break the bad guy into submission or what?
